I just found your channel and oh my goodness. I've watched several episodes. Over 40 years ago my husband and I built a camp in,the.woods. So manof, the.things you have done, we did. Cutting trees with a chain saw, burning brush, using the snow, bank for a fridge, cooking meals over an open fire in the cast, iron frying pan.or griddle. My husband is gone now and our sons, have the camp. Four, generations enjoying, this wonderful experience. Love your videos
When I think with a few different turns I might have had a life like yours. I did live in Alaska for 6 years. (Anchorage) back in the 70’s. Now I am 73 with a few health problems so I live the dream vicariously through you. The sound of the wind in the pines and the blue blue sky brings tears to my eyes, I love that so much. I want to encourage everyone to follow, no, chase your dreams while you can. Don’t waste time. Old comes so much faster then you can ever imagine. God Bless You. And thank you for sharing your beautiful life.
An apprentice to Jesus never loses anything good permanently. May you dream of endless days in a new creation that will be even more breathtaking. It’s close to us, very close 🙏🏼😊
Yeah at 17 I wanted to take off to Alaska I got together as much stuff I thought I would need like oil lamps, a antique dresser with the wash basin built in and matching pitcher, cast iron cookware , coffee maker that could go on a fire pit. Just so much stuff that I had a 10x10 storage unit I was going as prepared as I could get, then I met my ex…I should have ran like hell to Alaska lol
Hello from New Mexico! Could you add the temperature thingy (timestamp 27:20) to your amazon store, PLEASE! I love your videos. I watch your Fire-Up February 28-day Fire Challenge all the time, when I am home, cleaning house - I search for the playlist and I just blast the volume listen and watch, I just love the wintery scenes!!! Give Maisy and Moose lots of hugs!
I love you two! At 77, most of my traveling days are behind me after putting in well over 2 million miles traveling and singing and playing for people. But thru you two, I get to still see those wonderful sights and hear those wonderful sounds. The best music there is, is nature. I still have my studio, still record music, still make vids and still share it on youtube, but the wonderlust days are behind me. Not a bad thing because I retired to the Appalachians of NC and love it here. But we don't get quite that much snow here anymore. 2 or 3 times a year maybe. Used to be a lot more, but the climate is changing whether people want to admit it or not. Again tho, thank you both for the vids you make and share with us. I have a 10 foot projection TV and it's almost like being there. That's my traveling these days, and it "ain't" half bad. Be well and safe!
How wonderful to have found someone who loves living the same way as you! I'm a city girl with the complete opposite life and you've inspired me to make some changes and move to a more easy going place where I can start enjoying the simpler, more meaningful things in life. Your can-do attitude and talent is so inspirational!
This is great!!! I'm on a piece of land, kind of roughing it, no electricity, no running water, but $0 rent. Living in my travel trailer. Great way to save!!!
I know, right? I love that you took the time to share these beautiful moments in nature, close to God, with us. Thanks for sharing. I'm dreaming of these moments. Thanks for the inspiration to do the same. Wink, wink. 🤠 👍 ❤️
I watch you both and the love you show for each other and I am reminded of my husband Eddi and myself. Eddi died on 15th Feb 22 at the age of 69. He was 4mths short of his 70th birthday and I shall miss him till the day I die. I have not finished crying yet but when I watch you two it makes me smile because it brings back some wonderful memories of the two of us together and our camping adventures. God bless you both, I know you will be together and love one another as Eddi and I did. Remember to kiss and hug like teenagers every day because when one departs the other holds on to these precious moments for comfort. I look forward to all your new adventures. Take care and stay safe and healthy. Xx
I couldn't imagine being without my husband. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It's a real blessing to both of you to have the absolute love of outdoors, and love of nature❤. And love each other.
I am retired and only wish I was aware of the joy and good health the great outdoors could bring when I was younger. So busy raising kids and doing a typical life. Your videos lift my spirits. Just love when you and Dave are together in a video. This one was just awesome. Never saw a more hardworking couple! And truly love how you praise Jesus at meal times. ❤️✝️
I said on Bushradicals video how amazing that you two can walk that beautiful property by a river and say "This is ours". You are both so deserving of everything the lord sends your way. Thanks for sharing this.
Girl in the words, I wished I knew your name, your program is so inspirational and so God centered but I will watch each one that you put on here thank you so much for blessing me today. Your friend KATHIE oh and say hi to Dave❤️👍😇🙏🏻🌹🥰

I really hope you both will always be as happy as you are in this video for the rest of your lives. Thank you for these great videos you post online. May GOD bless you both and ALWAYS keep you in HIS care. Take care out there. Be very careful, also.
For the laughs, the inspiration, the beauty, the example, the hope, the love, the peace, the joy, the reflection you guys evoke, much gratitude and love. 🙏🏼💕
Ok you two need to be more careful. Long time Lake of the Woods cabin Klamath Falls Oregon here. There is a way to loop a wire and pull down snow. The roof can cave with the weight of snow and you on it = $$$$. Worried about injuries even tho you guys are super athletic, take care and God Bless.
You two are a force to be reckoned with, two well built cabins in the woods, and two bathrooms! Lol! Love seeing y’all so happy together and kidding around with each other♥️ Love the videos with you both this time around. Take care of yourself Brooke💕

You are so inspiring. I’m 53 and I’ve spent the last 11 years caring for my adult son who developed a debilitating pain disease at age 18. I lost myself in that time because I put him first always. He encouraged me to get myself back which I did by getting in the best shape of my life, making new friends and starting hiking again and other activities I enjoy. This last year though has been the worst of his pain disease and I stopped my life to take care of him through absolute hell on earth. He is getting the proper care now and I have been aching to get myself back again. Well YOU have inspired me to get going again. You are such a badass! We only get one life and it’s time to start living it for all it’s worth again. Blessings! ❤️
My grandfather used to have a cabin up in Baldwin Mi that he built himself, and snowmobiles and it brings a tear to my eye that I can't continue to do simple stuff like this, while watching you do it.
Wow….this looks like such a fun adventure. I so wish my hubby and I could do things like this but unfortunately I am disabled and aren’t able too anymore. But this is so something like what we used to do and I totally miss it! Glad you could get away and enjoy nature and each other!!! Enjoy it every chance you can because you never know when things will change. That was the most beautiful scenery at the water. Such beauty created by our Master. Only He could create such a beautiful site!!!Also I really loved seeing the “short sleeves” while clearing off the roof. So totally something I would do! And “if Gordon Ramsey were here” as well as “I’ll give you the first bite”…Lol. You guys just cracked me up and made me belly laugh. Your both so awesome. I love it!!! Thanks for sharing your life and adventures with all of us. You certainly make me smile! God bless you both!!!
Ahhhh, you know how to work, you know how to play, you appreciate the beauty around you and you love each other. It shows. You are blessed beyond measure! I am 75 and have been a widow for over 5 years. My traveling plans were squelched when Covid hit and now with the gas prices, well I guess my travels are over. I do enjoy your videos so much though. If I had a place in the woods to go, I sure would enjoy it. Thanks for sharing with all of your fans! Bless you both!
My heart skips a beat when I get notifications for y'alls videos! I'm so grateful to see you both loving life and doing what you love! I totally need to meet y'all some day!
You are one amazing woman I love watching your videos. I am 66 young at heart .you are indeed a inspiration to women especially to the younger ones that can still get out there before they get to where they can't. I wish I had kelp it up .I envy the bond that you and your husband have .it is beautiful. Have a good trip and don't get buried in that snow lol love you both and Thank you.
Love watching both of you missed your videos I can so related to the 2 of you reminds me with my husband and adventures we had lots of memories to have when your older and can not do it anymore!!!❤❤
It's hard for a southern boy to image that kind of snow! As cool and romantic as it is, I think I'll pass on it. But I'm glad you guys had fun! Good build on both cabins for having stood up to it! 🙂 🙂
I have my TV trained to be on both of Brooke and Dave 's channels almost all the time. I love your joy for living 💕 ❤ ✨ thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts each day!!!❤❤
Ah, the hard work pays off. What a great time spent in the UP and NO BUGS. LOL. Thanks for taking us along and I'm glad everything survived the winter.
You two are the cutest!💖I got a little nervous with Dave on the roof just because of it being slippery!😬Love that you both got some down time! Good therapy!🤗💖DEFINITELY GOD'S COUNTRY!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!🌲🌲🌲
These clips make me happy because they offer an away time from this mad world. So much better than most media - pay per view! Thank you and God blessings to you and yours.
The view is beautiful with the trees, snow and water. You said you sit there and look at it till you die. I thought that just watching it on tv. I can not even imagine seeing that view right in front of me. Just heaven I bet. Love ❤️ you guys as a couple and love all your videos. Stay safe. 🙏
The sun reflecting off of the water looks like diamonds sparkling. It so calm & peaceful I agree I could sit there forever & never be tired of that view. So fortunate to have such a beautiful property. Can’t wait until it clears out & you get back up there for Spring. Watching you build your little Whipple Town. 😉
Its so strange we take the weather for granted it plays a huge part of this planets well being to include us both good and bad has a purpose we see it everyday you gotta love nature. Love you guys big time
We'll let you two youngsters go dashing through the snow. Our last snow shoveling was a full decade ago in Pennsylvania. We sold our home up north and moved to sunny northern Florida a month later. Oh, to be young again, back in the days when we were invincible and going to live forever and three days. Wishing the very best to you and your loved ones. Fred and DeeDee
It was sweet to meet your hubby...you guys are a cute couple. Enjoyed seeing the woods around your cabin. Thank you so much for sharing. The Lord's creation is so beautiful. Blessings to you both 💕
Congratulations Brooke your summer retreat showed how well you built it to survive the winter. It was great to get you and Dave's videos on the same day and yesterday Far north Bushcraft yesterday, love the autumn, reddish in your stream and can't wait for more videos of your retreat take care and be safe.🇺🇦Urkaine Strong
Thank you so much!!! So good to see you two together enjoying the beauty of the Lord and the fruits of your hard work. Thanks for sharing! I am 77, too! I am mourning the very, very recent loss of my two beloved kitties, sisters from the same litter. They had different fathers. Caramel was a beautiful, female (!) orange and white Tabby. Chocolat was an all black beauty with green eyes. They died in their 17th year just weeks apart. You gave me such a beautiful, peaceful respite from my deep loss. I will watch this vlog again for sure. God bless you and yours. Patricia
I get engrossed in your videos & life. Feels like I’m right there with you. So glad to watch your lives! You’re so right to get outside & be happy! I now have health problems that really hinder me. Watching the two of you brings me back to my younger days & fun life. Thanks!
Hi Brooke and Dave , what a lovely way to spend some quality time out at the cabin . Brooke your build held up amazingly cause you did such a great job building it. It was so beautiful down by the river. Loved the video.
Fabulous video as always great to share your little trips just seeing that beautiful countryside. I just came back last week from the Isle of Skye small island off Scotland was quite beautiful there with snow capped mountains. Seeing you out in the snow reminds me of that love the smell of that pine so clean and fresh nothing like it. Thanks for the fun times you let us share with you. I love your video's both of your channels are great bye from New Brighton UK xx
I really appreciate you taking us with you on your adventures. You are an amazing camp cook! I grew up in the outdoors, but the pace of life and raising a family has kept me from what I love. Thank you for reminding me of who I really am. You two are very sweet and productive together. Much love!
Brother and sister, you are so blessed to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. And such a god- blessed place. I so miss all the views of the snow. Being I'm from Colorado, and I'm no longer out there. But I have lived out there for over 35 years off the grid. And I'm living in my new home off the grid. I want to thank you both for sharing such a wonderful sight. God bless you and your family
That sky is my favorite shade of blue 💙 I love how bright it is there, reminds me so much of my grandfathers camp I spent so much of my childhood at in the Sierra's of California. We camped at his camp for years. He had found a spring there back in 1948 and built the camp the next year near by it at the edge of a meadow. As soon as we could get in in the early spring, which was done by 4x4 in our old Willy's Jeeps, often having to cut fallen trees out of the trail or digging out snow drifts to ge6back in there. It was off of a old logging road, but you had to depart from it onto our trail to get back into the camp. It had log poles set in that we lut canvas tarps around to make the main room, kitchen and were grandma and grandpa had their room and a old army tent to sleep in. Grandpa had made a big rock and concrete stove with a sheet iron top and door, as well as a smokestack. I loved helping grandma cook on it. My family had our area were were had a large army tent. In early spring it still often froze at night and later in the year during deer hunting season. Mom would heat a couple big rocks on the stove, when they were nice and warm My dad would take them off the stove, put them in a pillowcase and put them inside the bottom of mine and my sister's sleeping bags so we would have a warm bed to crawl into. I always went to the spring with Grandma every day to carry bucks of water back to the camp. Grandpa had dug out the spring the year he found it and lined the edges with logs, two logs high, it was like a small pond, we always had good clean water and it tasted so good. It had a area for a little run off that made a very small stream down the hill and a bit of a tiny marshy area would form ther, we often found salamanders near there. The river that was about a mile and a half away what is great trout fishing. Nothing tastes better than fresh brookies cooking a big cast iron skillet over the campfire stove along with some fried potatoes and onions. I truly love the mountains and I spent so much of my life camping, fishing, hunting, backpacking, snow in water skiing and canoeing many of the lakes and rivers but it just feels more like home to me then anywhere... Luckily Yosemite National Park is just about a 2-hour Drive at the most from where I live, it's one of my favorite places to visit also. But in the other direction it's only about a 2-hour drive to the ocean, so at least once a year you got to take a little trip to the beach. Luckily here in California are coastal mountain range is covered with redwood trees enforced sometimes clear down to the beach areas, So you get the best of both worlds, forested mountains in the ocean. I love watching your videos cuz it reminds me so much how I grew up camping in spending so much time in the mountains, I truly love the mountains, And really watching your videos❣️🌲🏞️🌻
It's " AMAZING ". I have watched this video many times. I don't get tired of watching it. Thanks for sharing this. I am able to live, enjoy, dream thru your videos. God Bless your lives.
So very nice to see you both out there enjoying the cabins together Glad you get some of the snow off the little cabin so that the wood won’t be warped in the spring
You know you have built a good sturdy cabin ,to withstand all that heavy snow. I was so nervous for him to be on the roof, LOL I'm afraid of heights. It's was great to see you both together, a double treat. Take care can't wait for the next one.❤
So lovely! God please protect these two. Protect their lives, their love, their marriage. Bless them as they bless us all with sharing their adventures with us.
I loved this video. I grew up in the woods and hiking all day even as a kid. I don’t have the energy for all that now but I still live in the woods and love it and I love seeing your footage Brooke.
God has blessed you both. The love and passion you both have is really special.⚘️ You both appreciate this life and nature. Thanks for sharing with us. Brook your energy motivates me as a wife, you are blessed with such courage, love, fun. Dave cooks nice simple foods but can maybe try some healthy organic foods for better health benefits. Nature is so beautiful, the river and your music is good too. It's like a story you never want to end. It's like you are both hanging out with us sharing God's beauty with us. 😄 Take care of yourselves. Blessings🙏
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful land, trees, river, and snow! The cabins look great and can't wait until spring time to see the wonderful foliage and animals coming out. Can't wait to see da woof and da moose hangin' out in the woods! 🥰 🐾🐾 🐾🐾 🥰
Thanks for allowing us to connect with nature the way that you two do.. Some of us don't have the opportunities to be out there... But what you do for us is make us feel closer to God's creation... Out in the wild... Untouched by man.. Truly breathtaking.. ~Heartfelt ♥️
These videos are so soothing. I started remembering my Athena. We lost her a month ago to cirrhosis. It was devastating to lose her. She loved us, she loved life. She was my little girl. Get regular blood tests on your dogs. Once dogs start showing symptoms it is TOO LATE. Within two months of showing signs she died. She tried to fight it and that is heartbreaking to think about. She always had my back literally. We had her 6 1/2 years of her 7 years 11 months life. And we are so sad we won't be able to make more amazing memories with her and show her more of the US. She is not suffering. That is the only thing that I am happy with.
At 75 my wife and I loved to travel. 2 large 12 v coolers, and stopping and enjoying life. Now my wife had a stroke in 2069, I have my own handicaps and taking loving care of her 24/7. I keep a small garden again. Michigan is this best place to live, wanted to visit Alaska again, rolled through there in1966 to travel by US Army stop. It was very nice compared to the 18 months I toured Korea. It is nice to have you both visiting us on RUclips everyday. Keep on loving what you and each other. We are with you, God Bless.

Thanks that tasted really good, and I think I got a hint of smell of vision lol
I am absolutely intrigued and in love with the thought of a tiny cabin in the woods.
wow a lot of snow!!!!!
Beautiful young souls you two are. Beautiful land and cabins.
Thank you so much!
Das sind die wahren Glücks -Momente ! Very cosy !!
My grandfather used to have a cabin up in Baldwin Mi that he built himself, and snowmobiles and it brings a tear to my eye that I can't continue to do simple stuff like this, while watching you do it.
So did my grandpa
Always a good day when "Girl in the woods" is part of it. Stay safe and God bless. 🌻
❤️Beautiful to see both of you today. Bushradical that was a genius move for that ladder. Appreciate you both very much
Owns approved !!

I eat those all the time but I use Pepperoni 😋
It's hard for a southern boy to image that kind of snow! As cool and romantic as it is, I think I'll pass on it. But I'm glad you guys had fun! Good build on both cabins for having stood up to it! 🙂 🙂
I have my TV trained to be on both of Brooke and Dave 's channels almost all the time.
I love your joy for living 💕 ❤ ✨ thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts each day!!!❤❤

I loved this video of you two spending time together and relaxing. God bless you both.
You guys have so much fun together, you are truly blessed ❤
Feeds the soul doesn’t it💖
Hi Brooke and Dave from Stillwater Minnesota!!
Love the content!
Hope you are feeling better now Brooke.
yes thanks much!
Fred and DeeDee
thanks much enjoy the sun!
It was sweet to meet your hubby...you guys are a cute couple. Enjoyed seeing the woods around your cabin. Thank you so much for sharing. The Lord's creation is so beautiful. Blessings to you both 💕

Thank you so much!
Patricia
So sorry!
Great to see you again, looks great ,just watched Daves also ,God bless
Very cool!
The snow around the river's edge..nature's perfect boundaries. Great video! Heaven on earth.❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Love you two! Your bantering had us rolling on the floor!!!
I really appreciate you taking us with you on your adventures. You are an amazing camp cook! I grew up in the outdoors, but the pace of life and raising a family has kept me from what I love. Thank you for reminding me of who I really am. You two are very sweet and productive together. Much love!
Soooo So Good to C U Brooke!! Looks like U and Dave had a Great time there, Hope U R Healing up, Take Care of Yourselves!! Sending Love 🕊👑🌻
Of course your cabins held up fine, you built them!❤️✨
That sky is my favorite shade of blue 💙 I love how bright it is there, reminds me so much of my grandfathers camp I spent so much of my childhood at in the Sierra's of California.
This is exactly why I love living up here in the North Woods. Beautiful all times of the year.
I love your videos, seeing you and your husbands appreciation of the outdoors, getting your hands dirty, and living the simple life is very inspiring!
I like the cold, and the snow. Not enough to deal with it regularly. Stay safe guys.
This is my favorite picture of you two!!!
🤗 🤗 🤗
Good to see you and Dave, Brooke. I hope you are well and feeling fine now. I loved your adventure. Please stay safe:)
Love the fact that you two repurpose everything.Even snowmobiles ,vintage good.
Love the cabins and view. OH YES THE SNOW IS BEAUTIFUL.
Take care of yourselves. Blessings🙏
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful land, trees, river, and snow! The cabins look great and can't wait until spring time to see the wonderful foliage and animals coming out. Can't wait to see da woof and da moose hangin' out in the woods! 🥰 🐾🐾 🐾🐾 🥰
It’s nice to witness the enjoyment of the fruits of your labor. Not sawing and hammering but living in these special dwellings. Enjoyed the video.
Absolutely love this, the 1st day of Spring was warm and beautiful all over Michigan.
You and Dave have a stunning piece of property. Enjoy.
What a great and fun video of the two of you!
This was so enjoyable! Thank you both for sharing your days with us! God Bless you both! 🙏🤗🙏
At 75 my wife and I loved to travel. 2 large 12
v coolers, and stopping and enjoying life.
