Bro Zach's been smoking for so long he's on fire at this point. And for my money does the best reviews with some of my personal favorite riffs/tones. ALWAYS with the Alice in Chains, that's #1 ALWAYS with TOOL that's point #2 A LOT with some Deftones point #3 and then sooooo many AWESOME Indie bands I never thought I'd hear on an awesome gear channel.
The Empire + Grace are two of the best modern high gain amps ever made. Brian rules, You rule and all the tones you can get out of this amp and the Grace are so good.
That sounds like the ideal high gain tone for me right there. Aside from that I'm always very impressed by the sounds of the SIlverburst. It's remarkable how big yet clear it sounds with those drop riffs, heavenly!
Sound like a combination of JCM800 and Diezel VH4. It’s definitely belongs to this family of amps, it has the openness and airiness of the Diezel with the layered coat of the JCM800 which almost sounds to me as a unique compression quality it has. What I adore in this family of amps, is the clear and punchy definition of the notes. What a great time to be alive!
YES! Love my Carstens Grace. This sounds incredible. And I agree, there is most definitely an addictive quality - a very dynamic feel and super 3D sound and harmonics - when playing Carstens amps. ...and the master volumes on these amps are just stunning. You can play 100watts at bedroom levels and it still sounds great.
