Yes, you make a great point. However, the NFL didn't think the stadiums would have fans in them this year and tried spreading everyone out all over the stadium and then allowed fans. Hopefully next year it will be different and more back to normal.
Classic sazzy I just love these cheerleaders dancers the really hard work with these ladies doing dancing is really really difficult I love the dress uniform. The girls and young ladies work their socks off and have to audition every single year to join some been their for many many years. They have to keep up pace keep to a style and weight build every thing it's really not that easy. To a very very very high standard all always
How do these cheerleaders have the stamina to do that routine followed by a kick line? 😭😭 i did high school cheer and dance but I can’t even imagine doing that without messing up
This is why we the cheerleaders practice for hours everyday on our personal time, exercise outside of practice, and then have practice multiple days a week for hours - all to build the stamina to meet the demands of the high intensity dancing.
is there any particular reason they didn't do the jump split? is the touchdown deck too hard a material? not at all trying to hate on them, just curious because on the show the dcc have done the jump split on the floor of the dance studio. i get that covid changes things so maybe that's why?
You are so kind, there's three reasons the ladies are unable to do the jump split this year. 1) The ladies have to be six feet apart from each other for social distance, making the ladies unable to link up their arms to do a kick line and the jump split. 2) The ladies are on a cement touchdown deck, the cement is way too hard to complete a jump split where they can badly injure themselves and break bones. Also the traction on cement is much different than a dance studio floor and the turf field that allows the ability for the legs and feet to slide into the splits, where the cement does not allow it. 3) The touchdown decks are too small to complete full out moves as the ladies have done in the past, limiting their space, which had to be adjusted for every routine.
Loved this sm, I noticed some of the girls were a bit behind the others , and had to look around to know what to do, which was a little surprising, usually the coaches are very strict about those kinds of things, any ideas why this year there seems to be a bit more leniency? Just an observation 💗
This year is much harder and different than before. As a former NFL cheerleader we usually stand in the four corners of the field in two lines with a total of 7-10 ladies, it is much easier to hear and see what the captains or group leaders call out for a dance to the random music for us all to dance to. However standing in a straight line with the group leader in the middle of 16 ladies on one side and 20 on the other side is extremely hard to see and catch right on as soon as they call out a routine. The ladies did amazing with this challenge and the challenge of dancing all game with a mask on.
@@LeClairesLovelyLifestyle okay thank you I was just wondering, they definitely did, I can’t imagine dancing with the mask on, and they did an amazing job as usual.
does anyone know if the dance tag at 2:49 is new? I LOVE it! wish the song had been longer to see more of it. It's like a new and improved sexy hips tag.
That is one of their filler dances. When a song comes on to play in the stadium the ladies dance at random when a group leader calls out a routine. There are many of these routines to be used when the random music comes on. These dances are new dances or dances taken from previous years of a few eight counts.
Depends on the type of mask and the person. Someone with asthma or COPD could have issues breathing and it can and has caused carbon monoxide problems.... There is evidence to support it. Do your research before spewing nonsense kid.

Being a Group Leader or Captain is extremely hard. I was grateful for all my Captains who got me through practices and games, it is such hardworking and time consuming to be in charge of a line.
Yes, it takes time learning a different style and being on a higher level of dance now. The longer their on the team the more comfortable they will be. All the ladies are doing tremendous this year with all the obstacles thrown their way.
Thank you for watching. The ladies are not performing on the field, only on the touchdown decks, making it different this year. I have the full Thunderstruck routine on the video at 8:03 of them performing on the touchdown deck and on the jumbo screen. On game days all the ladies perform Thunderstruck in a straight line on the touchdown decks, there is a pre-recorded video of the current ladies performing Thunderstruck on the jumbo screen with Maddie and Rachel being point, and also showing other years of previous ladies performing too in a mash up video on the jumbo screen. On my video I have both of the routines combined to see both performances of how they are showing it this year.

Hello, thank you for watching and loving. 💓 For the games you get to select your tickets where you want to sit. I am only seeing 16 ladies on this side, so I guess that's the limit on the platform for safe distancing. Assuming the same for the opposite platform, I suppose they can only field a total of 32 ladies per game.
There are a total of 36 cheerleaders. The side I was on only had 16, the two lines they put together for my side each have eight in each line. On the opposite end of the field for the other end zone for the touchdown deck, they have 20 ladies, 10 in each line for the two lines they put together. The end zone touchdown deck I was sitting by is smaller and could only hold 16, where the other end zone touchdown deck is larger and can hold 20.
They did for Thunder, they cannot do it on the cement touchdown decks that are also smaller than the field. In Thunder they do a few high kicks. Watch Thunder at 8:03 to see the routine.

For whatever it was worth, anyways. The Thunder video was so cut with previous years they could have just not bothered.
@@Flashygrrl No way! If you are facing the sidelines of the field you cannot see the cheerleaders at all unless it is on the big screen, the cheerleaders are only I the end zones on the touchdown decks. Allowing the ladies on the touchdown decks and the big screen gives the entire stadium/crowd to see the cheerleaders to have entertainment during time outs, commercial breaks, etc.

Wouldn’t it be safer to put them on the field away from people. I don’t really understand why they’re standing there
Yes, you make a great point.

Thank you for all the love, the ladies are amazing! 💗
How do these cheerleaders have the stamina to do that routine followed by a kick line? 😭😭 i did high school cheer and dance but I can’t even imagine doing that without messing up
Yes, they are very strong athletes.
This is why we the cheerleaders practice for hours everyday on our personal time, exercise outside of practice, and then have practice multiple days a week for hours - all to build the stamina to meet the demands of the high intensity dancing.
Go Marissa 😍
Yes, she is amazing!
is there any particular reason they didn't do the jump split? is the touchdown deck too hard a material? not at all trying to hate on them, just curious because on the show the dcc have done the jump split on the floor of the dance studio. i get that covid changes things so maybe that's why?

The ladies are all amazing and train very hard.
does anyone know if the dance tag at 2:49 is new? I LOVE it! wish the song had been longer to see more of it.
They are setting a very nice example for all americans by wearing facemasks when dancing and staying apart! Hopefully they did this on camp too...
They did have to wear masks in training camp.
Dancing for hours in a mask cannot be good for you. I really respect the cheerleaders
I know, they are troopers, amazing to see the athletes and how versatile they are.
A mask doesn't prevent breathing. That's all in your head.🤦♀️
Depends on the type of mask and the person. Someone with asthma or COPD could have issues breathing and it can and has caused carbon monoxide problems.... There is evidence to support it. Do your research before spewing nonsense kid.
@@autumnsky846 you should really take your own advice... there’s literally evidence of this NOT happening. 🤦♀️
@@autumnsky846 there is zero evidence to support this, except conspiracy theories & nut case websites that try to look like real news organizations.
The only thing a mask prevents is liquid droplets expressed when breathing, coughing, etc.
Also, the group leaders have to think on the fly, as they never know the next song that they DJ will play.
Being a Group Leader or Captain is extremely hard. I was grateful for all my Captains who got me through practices and games, it is such hardworking and time consuming to be in charge of a line.
The struggle is real for these ladies today. They'll get used to it. Performing in public takes time. I've been there and done that.
Yes, it takes time learning a different style and being on a higher level of dance now. The longer their on the team the more comfortable they will be. All the ladies are doing tremendous this year with all the obstacles thrown their way.
Awesome - who is point this year? Just Maddie or is Maddie sharing it with someone else? Fun fun!
It's Maddie and Rachel!

Hi I'm from New Zealand I love the DCC do you get to choose to sit where the cheerleaders are? Or is it first come type deal? I Fricken loved this video
Hello, thank you for watching and loving. 💓 For the games you get to select your tickets where you want to sit. As a former NFL Cheerleader for the Oakland Raiderettes, whenever I go to a game, I love to sit where the cheerleaders are performing. During COVID the DCC are only performing on the touchdown decks instead of on the field. I selected my tickets to sit in the end zone to be by the touchdown decks to see the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
I miss the famous kick line and jump splits.
Hopefully next year pre-game, sidelines, and half-time performances will be back.
I never thought that covid 19 would make them be 6 feet apart from each other . That’s something I never seen before. Would they ever get back on the turf when this virus thing is over
Yes, as soon as COVID is over and everything goes back to normal DCC will go back on the field.

How can Rachel be a point but not a group leader? Never seen that before? Didn't the poms used to be blue and white versus ALL white?
It has happened a lot. Rachel W. is super kind and soft spoken, male being a group leader is not for her. Being a group leader requires different personalities, a little more strong whose feelings do not get hurt easily and one who can give corrections all the time when lines are not straight, counts are off, moves are incorrect, and more.
