We don't have to worry about snow. Lol
@@gillybean5672 Only 44 in Vegas today. Who can live somewhere so cold??
Exactly. Lol Although they won't dare visit us in the summer.
Take a trip to SkinWalker Ranch then
Fun fact: you didn’t search this
well actually-
I didn’t
No, youtube searched it for you with its high tech electro-tronics.
Right I just found this on yt
searched it up after watching a video about silverdome
I remember this. Good documentary! Couldn't imagine living in such bad weather.
The delta air lines scramble plan that weekend for msp was crazy.
“The sudden change was very sudden”
You don’t say...
We just got 17 inches of snow in 16hrs in Toronto. It was chaos here for a couple of days. The last of the stuck buses were towed out 3 days later. So glad my work is only a 10 minute walk away, and that I had nowhere to go!
I miss the Metrodome. I got to see 2012 AP go beast mode in there. Can’t wait to finally see a game in the new stadium.
and this year it’s been 50 degrees in december with no snow
global warming is gonna take hockey from this state as well
That's what we all get from global warming
Come on man!!!!
LoL...why you gotta jinx us??? I work out there 50 is beautiful
Dalvin isn’t the best, he made a lot of mistakes against Jacksonville
@@LukMillion ......we have inside rinks......
This one always got me. I just couldn't figure out why this stadium was designed the way it was. This is why you don't always give the job to the lowest bidder. I mean imagine if this stadium was full? What if the entire structure became compromised? You would have thought SOMEONE would have thought about this scenario.
Yeah, a tarp on my meth head neighbor's house didn't work either.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣
bruh lmaooooo
packers fan here we kinda thought that this was honestly hilarious, we called the stadium the Humpty dump after it collapsed but I can confirm after going to a supercross race there a few years ago that the new stadium is incredible.
Thats why Packer fans are the absolute worst.
As a packer fan growing up in MN I loved going to the dome. I was genuinely sad when it was ruined.
That Diggs play gives me goosebumps every time and I'm not even a Vikings fan
I remember being so fascinated by this 10 years ago. Idk why, lol.
"To collect water that was dripping off the RUF"
The way this guys says roof is so triggering lol
That’s how people in Minnesota speak.
It's not quite annoying as people using the word "triggering"
@@dumptruckintruthduke trigger me timbers
LMFAO thats just our accent here in minnesota
we say things differently LOL
He doesn’t sound weird that’s how I say roof I guess I am from Minnesota
Tarvaris Jacksons last ever start as a Minnesota Viking. Favre would play his last ever game one week later, and Joe Webb would finish out the season.
Imagine being injured by that. That check gon hit diff
Or don't wake up
I’d take a ice to my forehead for hat 🥖
This video makes me appreciate living on the west coast, it doesn’t snow but great story
Ever have an earthquake interrupt a World Series? Lol...
Ah, memories...
My plane was waiting on the tarmac at Minneapolis and we were called back in. Ended up getting snowed into the Mall of America that night and saw the Metrodome collapsed that next morning. Just a surreal few days for someone who never lived around snow.
2010: *first time they played on a Tuesday since 1940*
2020: I'm about to do what's called a pro gamer move.
lmao
2020 had triple header monday night games. Tuesday games , Wednesday games ... shit we almost had a friday game lmao
@@TellingYouWhy we are getting Friday games too

Didn't miss much its Vikings and Giants
@PENTO ikr this guy acting like its a superbowl game Vikings just had to get whopped in Detroit
I miss the Metrodome , the Farve vs Green Bay game was epic , got Vip tickets and was in the tent , sat about 15 yards from Syd Davey , best game I ever saw , Jarad Allen went off.
Anyone else get literal chills when they hear the announcer say “Diggs!” during the Minneapolis miracle? Same
as a saints fan I despise it lol
Just me, I liked the 1st Minneapolis Miracle better ( Brett Favre-Greg Lewis)
Nahh not really cause you know the vikings dont go anywhere
Diggs sideline touchdown unbelievable Vikings win
Wow 10 years ago already. I remember hearing about this.
I worked for a construction supply outfit in the late 90's and remember when I had to go to the Kingdome several times after that stadium did the same thing. Crazy stuff.
This video encapsulates minnesota sports. An epic collapse
This was my first year living in Minneapolis. I had moved there in the spring and when all this snow happened that winter, I was shocked and started asking everyone if this was really the Minnesota winters that everyone talked about lol
Same here I had just moved to saint paul that spring...was a crazy Storm
A perfect metaphor for Minnesota fighting spirit in the fourth quarter.
Trivia regarding Favre ending his streak in Detroit: Lou Gehrig also ended his game streak in Detroit. Both players wore #4.
Wild.
Even playing outdoors at night in the freezing cold couldn’t stop Devin Hester from putting his kick-return prowess on full display against the Vikings. I remember seeing the highlights of that game as if it were yesterday
As a Hawkeye fan I remember this game at 16:35 and it still hurts
Same. We should have won that game.
That’s wild that score was still up lol
Imagine if this happened during a game

They would have died man. Glad that didn't happen.
See the 1989 world series earthquake miraculously I don't recall any casualties
I don’t know if people would have died maybe if they did not make it out so probably if they were sitting in the top but a lot of injury’s because people would have been running out and get hurt
@@kudousawoke4468 Oh they would have died, tons of snow falling on top of you crushing your body man? Yeah you would be dead.
I’m here 10 years later exactly the day this happened
I miss the metrodome, it was the coolest/weirdest baseball stadium
Wish they wouldn’t have stiffed Ragnar during the stadium transition. Would love to see him back with that purple motorcycle
Dude wanted way too much money. He was making $1500 a game. Roughly $15,000 a year. He wanted something like $20,000 a game. He was to show for 2 preseason games and 8 regular season games for 10 years. This guy thought he was worth $2,000,000 as a mascot. Yeah. Not a chance in hell.
“We were told, do not go in the bowl”
“So the first thing we did was go look at the bowl”
This was an epic once in a lifetime happening . It was unprecedented, weird twist events and very much "the perfect storm". No pun intended.
As a Giants fan, I remember when this happened as well! Was looking forward to see a big game at the ol' Metrodome but THEN massive winter storm that slammed the Midwest and resulted in the Metrodome roof caving in due to the snow, WOW.... :-o Crazy times indeed. And then they had to scramble to move the game to Detroit the next night....interesting times for sure.
