      MHD is also great from what I've seen, and may be even better cause it has more adjustability, like you said. But in the end I think it'll be the same power wise if you do these same exact mods. Though I've seen that its a bit harder to reach 400whp with xDrive due to the additional drivetrain power loss

      MHD also has a stage 2+ map. So it could be a little more than this.

    I have a f30 335i W/ stage 2 on 91. It's a fun car and plenty of power to pass and merge on a highway. I'd like to get the pure stage 2 turbo and the fuel system but 7k is a lot of money to get to around that 500rwhp mark on 91. Maybe one day.

    just know running e30 on the stock hpfp will cut its life span meaning they end up going out got a upgraded hpfp and believe me when I say it’s one of the best mods I got for my n55 currently running bm3 stage 2 + e30 map

    • @InlineSixAuto
      @InlineSixAuto  2 года назад +1

      You probably right. When I did data logs it recorded the HPFP wasn’t able to keep up with the target flow when WOT. It was below by a few hundred but not enough to crash. However I would think it really depends on how often you’re WOT and if you’re doing pulls all the time. Which HPFP did you get? How much power are you able to put out with that map?

    • @ImFunneh
      @ImFunneh 2 года назад +5

      @@InlineSixAuto it’s usually during only WOT where the pump can’t keep up I ran the stock pump for about a year before it going out you really don’t feel how much your car is starving from fuel until you buy a pump it’s the best. I was blessed with a stage 1 dorch hpfp for half the retail price. I haven’t dynod myself but Halim from bm3 posted dyno graphs on forums f30 n55 with bolts on and upgraded hpfp was a max power of 440 hp

    • @InlineSixAuto
      @InlineSixAuto  2 года назад +2

      @@ImFunneh I had considered an upgraded HPFP but honestly when I looked into it more I didn't think $1k was worth for only additional 30-40hp. And also since I don't really go WOT often or race people much lol. Honestly might just go back to Stage 2 91 after a few months since I don't even really put the power to use. But seems like it would be good idea to upgrade it so the car runs better and for the additional power

      I have a n55 PWG with fbo and stage 2+ 93 mhd tune, f10 535. Just started using e30 fuel mix on the 93 map, and the car runs great. Cylinder timing still looks even across the board. Boost peaks at around 21 psi manifold psi at 18, 19 psi. Never dynod the car though

  • @SmileyGregB
    @SmileyGregB Год назад +1

    Any thoughts on adding the CTS larger diameter 'Inlet" pipe (understand you have their intake kit, and charge pipe kit), and finding a performance boost pipe. Thoughts are maybe a few hp, a touch more airflow, faster spool, sound, lower air temps, easier on turbo/engine to breath? Understand any boost gains or power limited pretty much by your stock hpfp. I run similar setup and bought CTS inlet pipe (not installed yet), boost pipe still searching for quaility/proven one, stuck on Dorch 1 good, or stage 2 better (if ever decide future turbo upgrade), and the 3.5 bar TMAP to run 20-21 boost likely my personal, "rare" occasion go 22-23 🤯. Likely like you I prefer not to run turbo to its limits daily and try to keep car fairly reliable.

    I see that BM3 has only one stage 2 e30 map. Is there any different e30 maps for 93oct, 91oct and ACN91 or is that stage 2 e30 a map for all three gas octanes?

    • @InlineSixAuto
      @InlineSixAuto  2 года назад +1

      It's for all three. You can use it with 91 or 93 Octane as long as the ethanol percentage is 30%. That's why its important to test the ethanol content of the 91 or 93 gas along with the E85 to get the percentage as close as possible.

    • @billmolyneaux7625
      @billmolyneaux7625 2 года назад +1

      There’s the multimap stage 2 tune. It lets you change octanes without flashing the car between 91 ACN, 91, 93, and an additional map for stock m2 power. It is also flex fuel enabled if you have the hardware OR you can manually override ethanol content. Has higher boost than stage 2 e30 from what I can tell, but they feel similar. I haven’t tried the multimap while overriding ethanol content to be e30 though

      All you have to change to a tune that is meant to be run with E85. In my case I used the stage 2 E30 map from Bootmod3. The car can run with E85 without having to install any extra part. The tune just allows you to get the significant power gains from it.
