This week we're taking a drive down Central Avenue in South Los Angeles / South Central Los Angeles.
Central Avenue, one of the longest streets in Los Angeles, is filled with history. Today we’ll be heading north on Central, from Imperial Highway to Washington Boulevard. Central Avenue in the LA City limits is about 9 miles in length.

Aww you didn’t point out the former theater on 23rd and Central. After being a theater, it because Crouch Memorial COGIC - arguably the first (or maybe first black) Mega Church in Los Angeles. It was the ‘West Angeles COGIC of its time. It’s been a Hispanic Church for a long while now, and they’ve done a lot to keep the building up (on the right side at 14:40 )

Around 1:39 you passed by one of the worst speed bumps on central, like it’s not even painted yellow or smooth if you go slow. It’s just a tall speed bump that is invisible at night that will feel like you hit something

I love this video but I see you posted a year ago. You shouldn't go back and see it now. It looks very nice and fixed. We have space for the bicycles. The motorcycle's new light looks very nice.
