Home of the FaithDome: Crenshaw Christian Center History in South LA | Frederick K. C. Price and CCC
The Crenshaw Christian Center campus and the 103,000-square-foot FaithDome sit on the edge of the Vermont Knolls neighborhood in South LA. The 32-acre Crenshaw Christian Center campus is lush, tranquil, and manicured, and is adorned by a handful of original Art Deco-style buildings that still capture the ambience of the former mid-century urban college campus. Today, these buildings house administrative offices for Crenshaw Christian Center and its Frederick K.C. Price III Christian Schools that has just over 300 students.
But how did Crenshaw Christian Center make a former college campus the home of the FaithDome? And what does the future hold in store for Crenshaw Christian Center in So...

Tak’s Coffee Shop is instead built upon a culture of community. B...

What a blessing. He was a man of God. No sexual scandals, no money scandals in 4-5 decades. Pastor price lived what he preached and made a huge impact in so many lives. I feel bad for his son who has to fill his shoes. Not too many has the gift of teaching and anointing like Pastor Price. But good for his son trying to continue what his father started.

In 1985, Dr. Price came to the convention center in Miami, Fl. That night I met my wife. My wife and I later attended the Inglewood Church then at Pepperdine U.. Dr. Price was really a great teacher. TBN played a big part of my life from 1980 to Paul Crouch's death.

My Dad introduced me to Dr. Price in the early 80s. He was on TV, Dad made me stop and listen and I was hooked. In the late 90s I took a job with Rockwell in Newport Beach, CA, my family and I drove from Orange County to CCC every Sunday. We lived there for about a year before moving back to Texas. I must say the reason Dr. Price drew such crowds was because he told the truth! It's that simple. About Christ, the church, the bible, money, sex, race whatever subject you knew you would get the truth and if someone was offended, so be it. I love the man, his family and ministry. Thank God for the time and lessons I've learned from them. (till we meet in Heaven, Peace.)

So the council installed gates, gave residents the keys and said they are no longer responsible for them. Gates get chains cut, fly tipping carry’s on, but council just says fuck you. Seems like the council in LA is a shrewd businessman rather than a proper local council that manages and serves the community which is the only reason a council /municipality/local authority exists, to manage and serve the local community.

I thank The Most High, for Dr. Fredrick K.C. Price!!!! If it were not for him, I would not have learned the importance of questioning...anything And now I do! I would later go on to attend Ministry training institute where Dr. Price was my teacher as well as others Pastor Jackson, Pastor Landry, Pastor James Price... the list goes on. ..As a minister of music I would go on to participate in The Faith's Messengers. I would be blessed to, record the Christmas album and so much more. I am happy to have taken part of the foundation of this great church. It is my highest hope; the current administration continues with the goal put in place by Apostle Price: TO REACH THE PEOPLE. Dr. Felicia Atkins - Lockhart Abram.

Apostle Frederick Price was a dynamic servant of CHRIST. His faith message taught me to always look to The Word of GOD for my every need. His closing Scripture is what I apply to my life today and that is " we walk by Faith and not by sight. Faith really do come by hearing and applying The Word of GOD. May GOD'S Mercy and Grace continue to follow the Price family as they continue to spread The Word of GOD. The Apostle is surely missed by them and we who were taught by him.

Today is 14th May 2024, l just watched this documentary and my answer to the current pastor’s statement about the capacity of the auditorium. I think you should first seek the face of God, and listen to what He will tell you, and l bet you He will answer you, but you must be willing to obey God and follow His directions. Next talk to Joel Osteen who took the congregation his father left him to a super sports stadium. it has been said most of the time when children inherit their parents , they lose all that has been left to them, because they didn’t work for it, but I believe your father had prayed for you, and you are capable of taking are care of this, according to the name of your father‘s ministry, which he passed it on to you ever increasing ministry but not ever decreasing ministry. Be careful of the steps you are taking because it has happened before in Los Angeles and if you can remember the Crystal Cathedral and the family dynasty similar to what you have inherited it could be a blessing and it could also be a curse but my bet to you is that, you will make it a success. That mediocre statement is a defeat, it is like the two salesmen who were sent to a country to see if they can sell shoes, the first salesman failed by sending a message; don’t bring shoes because no one wears shoes here, then the second salesman went and saw that no one wears shoes and requested they ship two containers of shoes and the rest is history , which one are you Your only job is filling the space that you have been given: the problem was your parents kept you in the house and in the church for too long, l wished they had sent you to the missions for years, then you would have been fit, but from your sayings your family is sympathizing with you to go ahead, but mind you the enemy is watching and he will contend with you. My advice to you is if you think the task is too big for you, then allow someone else to lead and work with him. I would be sad if your story later on becomes like the Robert Schulla’s family dynasty debacle. I wish you well, As always Agape.

I am the pastor of the Dickerson Chapel AME Church, Millsboro, DE. Since a child I have watched Dr. Frederick Price. No, I didn’t agree with everything he taught, but who does? However I’ve always tuned in off and on over the years. Why? Because there was something about Dr. Price. I’m so proud of his son who has taken the spiritual mantle as pastor. I still watch, but online. Dr. Frederick Price (the son) is doing an excellent work in ministry. I know about crowds and the human sense that says crowds mean success. Not so! Obeying the Holy Spirit and living the Faith are what pleases God. Watch God!

Man, I have never been a member of CCC or attended a Sunday Service even though I am a native of Los Angeles. I was blessed to be able to attend a few FICWCIM services and can remember being in awe of entering the campus and then FaithDome as an adult. EIFM was on our tv every Sunday before we went to our home church so I was blessed by the teaching that came out of this place. Seeing the Dome make attendance adjustments over the years from television has been disappointing but understandable. I loved what Pastor Price said about it all in this video, Whatever the next phase will be, I pray that it was continue to be a blessing to the Body of Christ. Keep walking by faith and not by sight Price family.

There are very few men who truly impress me. Dr. Fredrick K. C. Price is one of those rare individuals who, even after his time on earth, continues to amaze me. A leader of faith and vision, in my opinion, his legacy will never be forgotten. I'm not sure if this video/documentary accurately captures the essence of Dr. Price. If there is anything that could disappoint those who have passed on and are looking back at this life from the realm of eternal life, I believe this would be it. The first half of the video was fantastic, showcasing the growth, victories, and challenges. But the overall portrayal may not fully capture the depth of Dr. Price's heart. This is why I pray for our generals. This why I encourage their vision be more that, of what use to be. If FAITH is anything, it’s generational. This documentry doesn’t communicate FAITH and VISION like that of Apostle, Dr. Fredrick K. C. Price. Even the ending tone and music is a death march. Proverbs 29:18 Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.

I believe the video was done with the best efforts possible, but I felt similarly about the closing song. Maybe, there should have been another choice.
