Hello, I enjoy your videos and thank you for sharing your knowledge. I started using QBO and use QBO for my payroll and tax payments. When I ran the payroll in QBO, QBO takes the net payroll from my account and deposits the fund to employees' checking accounts. amount. When the payroll taxes are due I pay them from QBO. Here is my question, instead of using my bank account to pay the taxes I would like to use my credit card to earn points. I am not sure if QBO accepts credit cards but I was thinking to make the payment through EFTPS and then mark the taxes as Paid in QBO. Will this clear the liability? Also, how will I treat the payment that will come through my credit card feed? I appreciate any suggestions. JL

Cindy, while making entry for purchase bill by book keeper without inventory but (after already receiving the inventory by store keeper) against purchase order, the purchase order menu when pop up for entry only shows details of "date and order number" but no reference is available for quantity. This may put the Book keeper in trouble as to which Order number to selected. However, in absence of quantity details, he has select all the order unless he get right number. So, showing quantity along with date and purchase order number will be of great use for a book keeper or an accountant.
what's your opinion my comment? If you like it, you can forward my suggestion to Intuit for change and modification accordingly.
I agree. I’m a beginner bookkeeper & I was had actually found myself in this predicament. Makes sense to me but as I said, I’m just starting out.

What if you receive an advanced payment and you have no receipts to apply it to?

I'm not as much of an expert as she is but I run my own small business but it really depends on the demand of your business and how complex your transactions are such as payroll, inventory, or how your customers pay you for services.

We purchase used bottles as Raw materials. And make them pet flakes. As a finished product.
We buy raw materials in kg
And sell in kg
Every time we buy at a different price depends on the market situation. (Same RM)
And when we sell finished products with different rates to different parties.
So
I want to track my finished product availability for sale. For more manufacturing.
Means I want to track how much finished product we sell or how much is still available for sale. (In kg)
No need to track raw materials WIP etc.
But whenever we purchase raw materials we must hit the vendor supplier account as an account payable.
And
When we sell the finished product we have to hit the customer account receivable .
Please need your help for the sake of God.
