Choir is fantastic. Orchestra is wonderful. When they come together and invade pop music, it makes maaaagggggiiiiiccccc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEE IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!
One of my absolute favorite pieces of music as only they can perform it. Thank you. (This couldn't have been viewed only 2.9 million times. I think I have viewed it at least a million times myself.)
Oh my gosh this is beautiful. I love it whenever people do these kind of renditions of pop songs! They feel so much richer and fuller and just... breathtaking.
spectacular!!!!! it could make the younger generation appreciate orchestral music more....and a bridge to the older generation to like modern pop music...good job...
This is...seriously amazing! I got chills several times! Really nice and unique take on the song. Thank you for the privilege of your voices and instruments - they were just breath-taking together!
Of all the versions of this song, this is the ultimate eargasm! What makes this song so sexy is the contrast and quick interchange between the high soprano voices and the low alto voices combined with amazing staccato percussion. Bravo!!
Man, this brings back memories of early 2010's. A whole lot has happened in the past 8 years, both great and not so great. r.i.p. Carly Rae Jepsen, may you be singing among the angels for an eternity.
very cute and well done. MrDiablolord, I've been a teacher for 35+ years and I NEVER get tired of hearing young people do great innovative things. You are such a grumpy old man, I'll bet.
This is truly incredible! The interlocking finesse within the group is simply outstanding! I love how a cheesy pop number was turned into an enjoyable orchestral piece!
I threw a wish in the well Don't ask me, I'll never tell I looked to you as it fell And now you're in my way I trade my soul for a wish Pennies and dimes for a kiss I wasn't looking for this But now you're in my way Your stare was holdin' Ripped jeans, skin was showin' Hot night, wind was blowin' Where you think you're going, baby? Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me, maybe It's hard to look right at you, baby But here's my number, so call me, maybe Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me, maybe And all the other boys try to chase me But here's my number, so call me, maybe You took your time with the call I took no time with the fall You gave me nothing at all But still, you're in my way I beg and borrow and steal At first sight, and it's real I didn't know I would feel it But it's in my way Your stare was holdin' Ripped jeans, skin was showin' Hot night, wind was blowin' Where you think you're going, baby? Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me, maybe It's hard to look right at you, baby But here's my number, so call me, maybe Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me, maybe And all the other boys try to chase me But here's my number, so call me, maybe Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad I missed you so bad, I missed you so, so bad Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad And you should know that I missed you so, so bad (Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad) It's hard to look right at you, baby But here's my number, so call me, maybe Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy But here's my number, so call me, maybe And all the other boys try to chase me But here's my number, so call me, maybe Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad I missed you so bad, I missed you so, so bad Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad And you should know that So call me maybe
This, in a way takes me back to a night during my freshman college year when I was heavily involved in a live FM radio broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area of Puccini's Suor Angelica Opera. It was a collaboration of the San Francisco Opera and Merritt College Orchestra musicians It was attended by an audience of well over 3,000. Microphones were EVERYWHERE. It's a night I can NEVER forget! Not enough room to explain what I did besides being one of the violinists.
I remember seeing this on tv then forgetting to look it up online for like a month until i heard the original version as an ear worm at work last night. Then it clicked in me finally to look this up
Listen to 2:44 and here how high those sapronos go! Man, if my school choir did something like that, I would be jumping up and down with excitement! Great job, guys!!!
everyone who is dissing this just stop. this video is awesome. and the lead trombonist is my elementry school band teacher and hes the coolest person ive ever met and will ever meet in my whole life so just shut your face. and if you still hate this video they performed it live on the today show.

GypsyInFenra That's funny, because there is such thing is God "calling" people to him. XD
Oh my gosh this is beautiful. I love it whenever people do these kind of renditions of pop songs! They feel so much richer and fuller and just... breathtaking.

This is...seriously amazing! I got chills several times! Really nice and unique take on the song. Thank you for the privilege of your voices and instruments - they were just breath-taking together!
Everyone in the comments are cowards who are too afraid to admit that the original Call Me Maybe was an absolute goddamn bop
facts, one of the best main stream pop songs of the past ~8 years
R.I.P ear phone listeners. 3:02

Of all the versions of this song, this is the ultimate eargasm! What makes this song so sexy is the contrast and quick interchange between the high soprano voices and the low alto voices combined with amazing staccato percussion. Bravo!!
I feel like someone needs to be vocalizing in Latin in the background

terrific act, wish they'd do concerts--uplifting and inspiring people
I was hoping they would do more after AGT :(
Man, this brings back memories of early 2010's. A whole lot has happened in the past 8 years, both great and not so great. r.i.p. Carly Rae Jepsen, may you be singing among the angels for an eternity.
This is so so well done!
It's surprising how popular music, in a less popular rendition, can be so much better!
Hat off lab Especially weird since Call Me Maybe was, objectively, the best song in existence until she released E•MO•TION
3:02
*Alright! Alright! I'll call you later goddamit, jeez.*

Does Not Compute 😂
OMG it sounds like im gonna make a call to the heaven
such a lovely, inspiring, and moving group of people doing this as volunteers, they could tour the world and sell out easily
WOW! is like seen a cute playfull child become a full grown beautiful adult! The pop version will never be the same after listening to this one!
I suddenly feel like there needs to be a musical centered around this. Like maybe a modern take of Mama Mia?
i just stared god in the eyes and they stared back and that gods name is carly rae jepsen
me when i saw her in cinderella :)
Every time i listen to this Version of the Song, it kills me...
Nothing less than beautiful!!!!! Great job Colin Britt....you are a genius! (I am originally from Boston, Mass....cultural hub of America)
Why is this not on iTunes? I would buy and download this cover in an instant.

very cute and well done. MrDiablolord, I've been a teacher for 35+ years and I NEVER get tired of hearing young people do great innovative things. You are such a grumpy old man, I'll bet.

Lol the afro guy is my old viola teacher ha

Better than the original.
I dunno… but hearing the phrase 'Ripped jeans' in a choir performance doesn't feel right.
Thank you God for this Glorious song
Brilliant, brilliant! I love their exaggerated looks of intense seriousness. It makes it.
It seems that someone should rewrite the lyrics to match the grandness of the music and chorus. Great stuff.
music is heavenly when played by an orchestra, congrats!
A friend suggested that I check this out. I have no regrets. This is different, catchy, creative, and refreshing. Absolutely amazing!
I never actually thought that a song like this could make me feel goosebumps... Guess what... This video proved me wrong.
CLOAN BRITT. You're a genius! May God bless you :)
This is truly incredible! The interlocking finesse within the group is simply outstanding! I love how a cheesy pop number was turned into an enjoyable orchestral piece!

You took your time with the call
I took no time with the fall
You gave me nothing at all
But still, you're in my way
I beg and borrow and steal
At first sight, and it's real
I didn't know I would feel it
But it's in my way

I missed you so bad, I missed you so, so bad
Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad
And you should know that
I missed you so, so bad
(Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad)
It's hard to look right at you, baby
But here's my number, so call me, maybe

So call me maybe
