As a guy that completed basic education in the rural areas, I'm learning how much of a disadvantage it was to be educated there. Almost all the guys that make it in a big way have a good primary/high school as a foundation.
Sadly this is true....good education goes hand in hand with good bursaries, exposure good sports and coaches, exposure to people who could be good connections in the future.
What do you mean? if you look at a lot successful black business owners at a JSE level come from rural and township schools. Sizwe Nxasana, Nolitha Fakude, Mteto Nyathi. The people i do business with now I mostly met in varsity, worked with, play soccer with etc. Network is everywhere brother, make the most with what you have, where you are. We always see someone else’s life as better than ours. Took me a while to realise that.
This guy is very informative. He takes his hustle very serious and never gave mediocre content. He's always well prepared and well informed in any topic he tackles. I like his work ethic ways he use to inform and educate. A big S/O to Penuel for the platform 👌

Thank you Pen for interviewing Zimasa, great hockey player, as a former Dalian I wasn't even aware of the strides ty has made in business, I'm inspired by the relentless curiosity and risk appetite. Big ups to Zimasa
I don't know how but we need a part of 2 and extended version of the conversations that were had in this episode. Zimasa is such an intellectually informed young man.
One of the best and most eye-opening episodes. Zimasa is a gem of knowledge and should really come back for the second time. The vast difference between well-off schools and the not-so-well-off schools is vast.
Yhooooo The knowledge and research dropped in this Episode its eye opening especially to things we didnt know as AVERAGE SOUTH AFRICAN ...... There is a lot now that makes sense
Another solid day one. This gent is a technical ops guy that looks into the mechanics of any operation for deeper understanding so he know where, how & why to place himself. I like his system ops & efficient mindset. Solid G. Pen uk’gwema the constant/periodic interruptions, please carry a pad & pen so you can note down questions that come up while your guests are speaking. There are some thought pattern interruptions that takes place here & there due to you being conversational/engaging. Yes keep the nature of the exchange on that conversational plain without ukuba ngena em’lonyeni. Pen and your guys you keep bringing….they are a cream of the crop in many different ways. If only this country operated on meritocracy we would be far or better than where we are. Just my thought. Thank you for bringing these guests to our attention. Those that have ears will hear.
On the point that Holomisa gave houses to people from Transkei, Sebe too gave houses to the black people of Ciskei also, Mdantsane township are RDP houses that were given to xhosas coming from the farms, around 1971. The gap is that people from Transkei are traditional, most self employed, and more entrepreneurial than us Ciskei xhosas. Our parents were nurses and teachers. Every bnb in umtata is black owned, every bnb in EL is white owned. They still farm, own funeral parlours, etc. Their entreprenerial mindset is quite impressive, they move like the Afrikaans did, they send they kids to schools in EL and pay cash, and they hold managerment positions in Municipal and Gov positions, in the Free State and EC. Trnskei xhosas are the new Afrikaaners
As someone who's been watching American Shows like Impact Theory by Tom Bilyeu and How I Built This by Guy Raz aspiring to sit in on those shows one day, I think with no doubt The Penuel Show is the 1st South African show I aspire to be on one day.
