The passion in Zimasa! He is a true patriot of South Africa!
Man came prepared 😂. Dropping bars after bars.
This guy must be protected at all costs
Dear Conversation Capital, this Gentleman is the most Intelligent guy I have listened to from SA, his deep analysis and perspectives and his understanding of Geo-Politics and how it impacts not only SA but the whole SADCC and Africa is reassuring that with young leaders like him we have a great future. I think if SADCC had another 8 young leaders who think like him SADCC would soar to such heights never seen before.

I have always said this to people, South Africa is too good a country for it to be doomed.
You help someone the first time you create an appreciation, 2nd time you create an anticipation, 3rd time an expectation, 4th it’s now entitlement!!
Mooshtaffa just basically explain the idea of what the Black Panther movie is all about partially from a power perspective (Resources and Ruling). Fight and power struggle over resources.
My brother Vabaza is special talent…
The "Economic Hitmen" have gotten us by throat, chocking the life out of us🤷♂️
Mr Vabaza had something to say and he was HEARD!!
I think the hosts were overwhelmed by Zimasa, he was just too strong
We need more discussions and explanation of our Constitution
You read my mind! I’ve been thinking to have Constitution 101 episode. Do you have a guest you can recommend?
@@theconversationcapitaltry to bring adv Muzi Skhakhane
Zimasa needs to be our Ambassador 😭🙏🏽
Zimasa Vabaza: I'm an entrepreneur, Where there is Chaos, there is opportunity
spoken like a true capitalist😂😂
I need more Entrepreneurial content from this guy, GREAT CHAT, Siyabonga
What a powerful conversation. Cant wait to read that book. I'm one of the people wondering what my contribution to the country could be after experiencing expat life. We are living in unprecedented times and its quite honestly scary to think that the baton is literally in our millennial hands😅 I'm so unserious... like me, change country's trajectory awoa.
On a serious note though, I am educated and my take home from this we need to unlearn reliance on government for radical transformational solutions.
Zimasa’s interviews are so interesting to listen to. 👌🏼
I don’t know how many times I’ve heard “if we do ….. we’ll be a financially free economy”. Nonetheless, the loans must stop.
It's always heart suiting to hear positive words about South Africa
The most knowledgeable gent in SA and has such a beautiful way of imparting knowledge
Couldn't stop gushing over the absolutely gorgeous host
One of the best interviews I've had the pleasure of listening to in a while! Zimasa has a brilliant mind.
Here's something interesting, you can never go wrong by inviting Zimasa back on the podcast
"so jwale ore o bula party or wetsang" 😂😂😂 Ursula is hilarious!
Bro didn't need to be asked questions. He speak truth to power. Thank you for this interview. Shout out to bro, Zimasa.
Hi Ursula, look I like your episodes and keep up as much as possible. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your channel but I was wondering if you could get someone from the 2000s and ask them what they think about the problems plaguing our country. There is a gap in interests and education between people born before 2000 and afterwards. For instance we grew up with social media and a sterilised version of history in our country and so therefore we do not have a clear lens of the reality we are living in.
Hi Chad, firstly know that we welcome comments on different topic ideas and guest suggestions, so don’t ever think we’ll think you’re “telling us what to do with our channel” … then secondly on the idea, thank you-we’ll definitely chew on it, if you have a guest suggestion for it, we’re all ears ♥️
This is a great idea.
Well said & awesome observation
So insightful... holding on tight😮💨
Loved it ❤
Loved it 🙌🏽
Loved it 😇
Thank You For This RAW Conversation
This conversation is very informative, thank you so much guys. 👏
Love your content. I bumped into your videos on Tiktok. I found a new home
This guy knows and understands his topic..
..the person who was running the government was T.M and T.M ran it for quite a while and go look at the stats.
The last time South africa had a budget surplus was around, I think was around 2004 to 08
We had more money, we had more money than we were spending.
A very slept on conversation!!!
Ke tsamaya le Zimasa!
Ursula, you and the team are amazing. I hope you've already internalized that? ❤
Very beautiful episode. I wish we had someone to give a different view, or ask different, more engaging questions to Mooshtafa.
I loved it and would love more of this kind of knowledge ❤. Thnak you TCC
Was one of those people who wanted to leave the country ey but after listening to him haiii I don't see it happening. Wow!
Always nice listening to Zimasa
omg the gems Z has dished are spot on, quotes, wisdom, lessons etc
Enjoyed this conversation, proper analyses
Thoroughly enjoyed this show.
Loved this episode. The brother had many fine points. What stood out to me the most was that too many in leadership are of a certain age. Get them out. That is the same problem we are facing where I am from.
MOST Old people have old ideas and don't embrace change and technology and most refuse to make room for the younger generation in politics.
Thank you for the conversation, it was informative. It highlighted the responsibility that we have to understand what is happening around us so that we can change things for the better. Can't wait for the book.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I looooove this. I looove effective journalism. I looove patriotism. I loooove being exposed to more reasons to not leave our country. It's so easy to want to get my money right and leave the country because "oh boohooo everything is failing." But I swear, man, I reeeaaalllyyy KNOW - not believe - that there's sooo much that each of us can do to contribute to the stabilizing and beautifying and thriving of our nation. I think so many of our young people want to participate in the growth. Behind the distractions and the partying and being hung up on the things that seem to numb us, most of us yearn to contribute to the solidification of our country. Lol. I'm writing all this because I'm filled with passion right now, and I'm only 27 minutes into this conversation😂. Mxm.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well informed and comprehensive research... above all challenges, there is a solution.
Wow! That's all I can say.
I'm definitely going to replay and share this episode
Omg you guys had ZIMASA😭😭

Zimasa is amazing
Gotta love Zimasa! Shout out to you. New subscriber! The lady is so beautiful❤️😭
Very sober view of our real life challenges and stories and solutions.
We need more of him
I think moosh would be very effective with us at the eff
I cannot agree more with the brother. Yes a macro economic view is important however we need to interrogate the political economic intersect too, this bothers me more unless macro economics includes its political economic dimension too. An African regional approach is an absolute because we have and are building greater solidarity amongst our nations. We cannot go this alone simply because we compete with regional blocks such as the EU, the UK and the US the so called west.
Continue brother we need to make this widely known it resonates with quite a lot of other voices.
This conversation was enlightening👌👌
Bars on bars of knowledge 🔥
totally agree. i always tell people to look at things from a macro perspective and geopolitical position. all systems trickle down. its ridiculous to look at jhb without considering south africa or south africa without analysing its positin in the region and continent and the continent and its position in the globe. all things play through each other.
Zimasa for president
Such an intelligent gent
The Roman Empire said: Give them Bread and Circus 🎪
This was a very informative conversation. Thank you so much for this conversation✨
U.S. person here - I resonate strongly with the anger that our grandparents are still running the country. I'm angry that the US hasn't responded to climate change seriously as it really is a problem the US created, both with it's own industrialization but also in the global hegemony of finance, trade and energy. The reason climate change is a global problem is because we (the US) made the global order as it exists today.
It's interesting that the arguments Zimasa is making about the availability of fossil fules echo communities in middle America. The fossil fuel producing states, when they push back against attempts to limit new fossil fuel production, say "we need to be energy independent," "we have historically used coal", "should we sacrifice our industrial and energy development just because someone else is claiming there is a problem."
For clarity, as an outsider, I am not saying that Zimasa's comments are invalid when it comes to South Africa or the region generally - only a fool would say they are equivalent given the histories of exploitation. Still it's striking how similar the sentiment is.
Hi Conversation Capital, may you please enable downloads as some of us enjoy watching/listening to you guys white we commute and other areas don't have proper coverage😢 so we end up involuntarily changing to music or fm. Please. Love your chanel.
Oh nevermind, my bad the button is there❤😊
Great stuff!
Please have a part 2.
Crazy crazy episode guys! So short though😢
Is it amazing.......?
This conversation is great but please people should not think its gonna come from the sky ..... find a solution and great a business
Can he be a regular, somblief. He broke down the supply chain of economics, politics 🤯
50 shades of gray my G...
not Quagmire catching hands
Edit your caption, put his name there... I have been searching for this. It was so hard to find it
I LOVE HOW YOU SAID IT 3 TIMES "THE ZIMBABWEAN'S PROBLEMS ARE OUR PROBLEMS"=X3
please put the camera on that insightful voice. let the sister express her views with more impressions
"We ought to interrogate all of the things that were done when were to young to respond them"#Ziyakhala
The Potential Greatness of South Africa will only truely begin to show fruition once SADC as a region is POLITICALLY, CIVICALLY and ECONOMICALLY CONSOLIDATED and UNIFIED. Finish n Klaar.
Our biggest problem is stupidity
demet😲
Zimasa🙌
There was a point were ESCOM was a profitable entity. Where did we go wrong? Illegal connections also plays a role in its demise and non-payment by customers, yet we pay DSTV on our households.
Was just a having a thought that talk radio needs younger narratives, Mooshtaafa would do well on talk radio
Wow the car example could he tell those clowns in parliament
I always ask myself just how sustainable are renewable energies as much as I care about the environment particularly AIR QUALITY I worry about our energy security in the whole Southern africq
If Sadc improves then we become more rich
I sometimes think these NPO are not African. They are the biggest part of our problem.
i am from Namibia and I am going to subscribe to your channel and his ...I live in SA .SA supply electricity to Nam .... we have great potential to supply half of our country with electricity from wind energy but stupid politics is fucking us up ..................
I've always asked myself why there is never any suggestion of a referendum when it comes to the issue of land? This constitution is a fallacy, it works for everyone else but us black people. We need a revolution.
This interview was not long enough
Good video, I found it awkward from time to time though , I also would have liked to see more pointed questions from the interviewer to keep the conversation more coherent and followable.
My assessment mhlambi is incorrect however I think if you didn't nod in agreement or uthi "mh , mh"😂 as the the interviewee speaks for most of the time it would make it very much less uncomfortable to disagree with parts of what he is saying, when the nods stop it becomes superficially climatic and makes it uncomfortable to watch ngoba it seems like you are agreeing wholesale without being fully convinced which may not even be the case but comes off that way, I may be wrong.
As a 21 year old🇿🇦 just beginning to be politically aware it's interesting seeing these conversations 💯👍
You left us a bill and not a will 🔥🔥🔥
As individuals we honestly need to support our own who are in small business...stop buying LV when we could see starting a community garden for your community....educate our children instead of saying hhhay she will get married sithole ilobolo!!!
Small things...
He lost me when he said he's a capitalist. Everything went bad from there. There was a lot the host could have push back on.
There are couple of facts that were twisted to shield our incumbent government. The analogy of a car that was ran without maintanance. Eskom was topped up and maintained the info is freely available where they show the timeline of Eskom on average they introduced new power station every 5 years. Eskom output capacity in 1990 was enough to run everthing today they were around 40k MW but our new government did not introduced any new power station until they were forced in 2008 even though Eskom warned government in 1996 to increase the capacity.
