  • Review of the 2016 version of the Evolv Shaman rock climbing shoe after about a year of use.
The Shaman is a comfortably designed performance shoe, best suited for overhand problems due to its hooked design. It's massively improved from its predecessor, as Evolv really took a lot of feedback into consideration for this new design.

Glad they're working for you! Still consider it the most comfortable performance shoe I've ever owned.

Have they worn out for you much at all? My buddy was telling me they probably aren't the best for beginners cause they might wear out with improper techniques.

I haven't been able to watch the whole review cause I keep replaying @0:20 and how it matches the drum.
    Nice touch

Nikhil Bhardwaj I found they were pretty true to size. If you like them tighter I'd go for 8.5, but if you like them comfier, I'd go for 9

Which gym is this? I loved the shot of the yellow overhanging area. Very wes anderson-esque.
