You need to do more river videos, more watercraft stuff, not drop and catch on well stocked ponds....fine for comps, but for your average fisherman, not so much. Keep up the good work tho, always good vids
Hi David, to be fair out of our last 12 videos, we've filmed... - 3 on the river - 2 on the beach - 2 fishing big gravel pits for Roach - 2 specimen carp videos - 2 'stocked ponds' - 1 vlog We've probably filmed more variation in the last 8-10 months as we ever have done. What would you like to see specifically? Glad you enjoy the video's though and thanks for watching. 😊
Oh man, this was during the heatwave of 2022, I was stuck in a factory at work during the week in it lol well done for even getting one fish in the weather, I didn't fish much last year because of the multiple weeks of 25 to 30 degree weather haha
I've caught loads of carp in the far distant past on sausage meat, cheese paste, butter beans, frozen prawns, kidney beans and probably others from the supermarket. Pellets and boilies have obviously taken over but I still enjoy using the old baits. Nice video.
Well Done for staying awake in those conditions and saving the blank! On days like that the water in a lake can feel more like a warm bath, so no surprise the fish don't feed. In my local waters corn has been so so hammered I might only catch an occasional Roach, so for Margin Carp I use punched Tulip Bacon Grill, (from larger Tescos) and finely dice it for free feed.
i Leant alot from your fishing videos and its given me the motivation to fish for other species, catching a wild bream in my local spot was amazing. hope to see more great videos in the future.
Thanks for watching mate and for taking the time to drop us a comment! 😊 Glad you've found the video's useful and that you've been catching a few fish.
Love it!! I know the boilies and pop ups ect work so well and stuff but love the supermarket cheep stuff. Great video look forward to your next video. Tight lines 🎣🎣🎣
Lupin Beans. Supermarkets / Vegan Shops. 72% Protean. No 1 Ranked 'Legume' for protean. Lupin Beans have nearly twice the amount of protein as chickpeas and nearly 5 grams more protein than soybeans. With 26 grams of complete protein in one cup of cooked beans, or 13 grams of protein per 100 calories. Very good, Indeed. TT.
I've caught on eel heads in the bad old days , can I say that? I've caught on pieces of squid. I've caught even on quaver floaters , though you need to use superglue to put them on the hook.
Hi. Guys. Let me put it another way. I'm a huge fan of alternative baits & use a huge amount. Let me give you one that you may have not of heard about. It has a Huge Protean Signature. Lentein Powder. Find it Health Food Shops & in some Supermarkets.. Reason #1: High Nutritional Value On the micronutrient scale: As minimally-processed plant protein sources go, Lentein is rich. It contains up to 50% crude protein. To give some context, other plant sources such as peanuts contain up to 28% protein and soybeans contain 13%. Lentein has a protein digestibility-corrected amino acid score (PDCAAS) score of 93. PDCAAS is an FDA/WHO/FAO-recognized measure of protein quality. Let’s compare with some other plant sources; peanuts have a score of 52, soybeans have a score of 72 and pea protein isolate of 89. Hope this helps. TT.
One of the best baits I've used and in the 80s caught load's of carp on them was kidney beans make sure they are cooked properly.Carp love them.No one uses by the look of it.
@@FromTheWatersEdgeTV They have nice taste to other beans but cooked properly there safe and once the carp get on them they love them I caught on zigs using small bits of foam either side of a bean that was early 80s they a great bait.
Who else likes using supermarket baits and what's your favourite? 😊
I love using bread and corn for all types of fish bream, chub, roach all that they love it and you can’t beat how cheap it is 😀
@CJ_shake gotta agree always guarantee a bite with them luncheon meat flavoured with herbs an spices works wonders for Carp 2
Me and so far the corn is my favorit with polenta yellow en bread very nice combo
Bread, cheese, corn, prawns, mussels great baits.
I would have hair rigged a, chick pea, with yellow, foam to make, a pop up.
@nigel palmer does it not come of the hair that ain't a bad idea 👍

Nice one Roy, I've heard Cockles are good for Tench too, perhaps that a video for next year. 😉

Hi mate, if you go to our youtube channel home page or under the video's tab, you should see it? White Lips (the carp) is in the thumbnail. 😊

Great stuff mate, sounds like you really know you’re stuff in regards to supermarket baits!
Only dodgy thing about this was the Doner pizza 🤣🤣👌

That's a great shout Paul! We didn't think of Kidney Beans, I'm guessing all Peas, Corns and Beans (long as they were soft) would work. 😊

Do you have to prep the corn
In what way mate?
Lol,these baits have always been cheap, unless you buy them from Angling Direct 👍👍
@Steven Curtis Angling Direct Wrotham sells a simple tin of Sweetcorn for £2.49 pmsfl
Haha, we always buy our corn and meat from the supermarket! :-)
What brand is your rig box at 05:40 thx
It's a Fox F Box Disc & Rig Box System. Hope that helps! :-)

Notification squad we all here?

A hand full of high quality bollies over your hook bait be plenty to catch…not expensive
That would definitely work mate. Handfull of pellet and a pop-up on the hook would also do the job too! 🎣
Is this a fox challenge
No mate, it's on our RUclips channel, From The Waters Edge. How come? Because Steve uses Fox tackle?
Fox gear…one angler and one camera man, supermarket baits…hello fox challenge
