Offroad with a style. Classic that never gets old. Its like a lifesize toycar. I always wanted this when i was shopping for my 1st car pero d kaya ng budget, the maintenance and all. Yan ung car na pwede pa ipamana kay scott i guess and he will still be able to drive. Its a running antique nowadays. Super jealous =)
Another thing I love about the FJ is when you look from the rear right or left side, it looks like it has a widebody stance which I constantly can't get enough of. Love my FJ cheers bruddha.
tips for those planning to buy their first car , aside from budget. piliin nyo na yung pwede pang off road, dahil even city roads in the Philippines feels like being off-road
I do miss having that FJ. It was a beast in the snow and towed my boat and camper easily. However it was manual transmission which meant I had to keep replacing the thrust bearing every two years due to a defect in the transmission’s bell housing which Toyota didn’t want to recall. Once the warranty expired, I sold it and got about 90% of my purchase price back. THEY HOLD THEIR VALUE!!!! Tried recently to buy another one but wow… still expensive even though it’s used. Great truck. Love the washable interior.
I tried to ride that kind of car when I had my practicum in Sotto. It's actually the car of my supervisor. I was amazed about the things inside. Sometimes people would shout at us like "niagi na ang tangke de gyera". Hahaha
This FJ cruiser is only for the rich people. Imagine how much you are going to spend for a maintenance. The V6 "GASOLINE" engine alone is a pain in the pocket. No wonder sir Slater can afford this car. For more FJ videos i would recommend Jec Episodes. They are using their FJ's for offroad. Beautiful toys.
Im actually planning on buying an FJ soon because Ive tried driving my uncle's red FJ and tbh mapapsmile ka talaga while minamaneho mo siya. Ang ganda niya over-all. Unfortunately, discontinued na ang production ng FJ. Makakabili ka pero 2nd hand, pero kung okay pa yung unit why not kunin diba, esp FJ's are known for its durability as it ages.
This one is such a classic and will never go out of style. I remember offroading in Sarangani with a Land Cruiser, paakyat ng bundok tapos bangin sa kabila, those were good times.
Here in the UK, I prefer driving a 2 seater car but I'll be moving back to Pinas and I have been eyeing one of these!!!!!!! I'll be living in the middle of Makati where I could walk from Greenbelt, Powerplant and the park so I will only be using this car when I go to weekend trips out of Manila.
I recently joined your channel and love your content. This I wasnt expecting but I love it. I also have an FJ cruiser and was debating whether or not i should bring mine with me when I move to the Phillipines in 3 years. You have convinced me sir!!!! I will definitely be bringing my FJ Toy with me. All I have to do now is just find a city or province in the Phillipines to move to.🤔
Awesome FJ Cruiser. Pays homage to the FJ40 in a justifiable way, with more modern thingymajigs to add to the creature comforts. I love the way the FJ Cruiser kept the 3-wiper blade system, reminiscent of the FJ42 LX version (luxury spec during its time) and one of the last models that rolled out of its Japanese plant in 1984. Can't wait to see the 5-door version of the new FJ Cruiser.😎
Land Cruiser would fit very well for the growing family and also for its capability to conquer different types of road and the ability to be used as a workhorse.
Random detail lang na I noticed, you’re one of the few people that cover up the plate in person instead of making it difficult by blurring it in post. I lavet hahaha
What's the mileage on the FJ Cruiser po? Here in the US it's basically a collector's item and rare to find used.. Sana i-fit nila dyan yung 2.8 Diesel na 1GD-FTV na gamit sa HiLux at Innova..
There's this accessory called rhinohide amor, it was featured in Shark Tank Australia. For the demo, they've used an FJ cruiser with it attached to their side panels to protect it from scratches while going off-road. It might be something you may want for your car for added protection. 😁
@@waldo719 4.0 V6 engine boss sobrang takaw sa gas niyan para ka ng naka dodge challenger. tapos pang daily? imagine maintenance? change oil palang mamumulubi na hehe
Nice car, If I were you. I'll upgrade my tire 285/70/17 all-terrain hybrid, a combination of all-season tire and mud-terrain. perfect for your daily routine.
My husband likes FJ cruiser. Here in US theres so many FJ Cruiser, but! They are very expensive. Kahit he likes it, hindi sya bumili 😅 we always ending up buying SUV or truck, dahil sa mga bata. 😅 hopefully later on he can get 1 for him kapag lumaki na yung mga bata.
Sir Slater, how many liters po per kilometer? Balita ko eh malakas sa gas yan? It was mentioned by Meryl Soriano in one of her vlogs when she was given one by Willy Revillame as a gift to replaced her old car….she needs a reliable car daw for her Baguio shoots….
Kung alam mo lang Slater Young matagal ko na naantay mag car tour ka!!! It seems unbelievable na ivlog mo to pero I really really love your Car!! Everytime i see FJ Toyoto off the road here in ZC i just thought u driving it 😅🥰 Hahaahahahhaa!! Love it so cool! 🙌🏻✌🏻
I have a black one since 2008 although I booked it in the original voodoo blue but somebody snatched my booked car and didn’t want to wait... I still love it
I have a theory with Slater, him being very formal when he's in vids or outside his home but I can swear he'll probably go monke mode when he's inside the house or with his stuff, just like all of us men with our cars and the stuff we do. 😂
I hope that they make a diesel engine for FJ. I used to have one way back 2014 but I sold it due to price increase of petrol here in Saudi Arabia. FJ is really fuel consuming, too heavy to drive and not aero dynamic. I remember using my fj for a long drive from Saudi Arabia to Jordan a 12 hrs straight drive 120-140kph. Mabigat idrive even in long drive kasi salo niya talaga ang hangin dahil sa lapad ng front design at wind shield. Its fuel consuming cause the weight contribute to extra acceleration even you’re in cruise control.
ang interior talaga ni fj cruiser kaka ugh tas add pa nb cabinet???? nakaka sana all.. although ang chika sakin ni Kuya medj matakaw daw sya sa gas so medyo na discourage ako slight 😆
I personally would prefer a pick up truck or something thats cheaper but can perform as well, if not better. FJ cruiser has low windows which can be annoying during driving and even has the worst blind spots. Cargo space is definitely small and may even be non existent. Leg space can also be a pain. The doors can also be annoying HAHA especially when you have to get in to the second row. Lastly, it consumes a high amount of gas thus, may get very expensive to use. This is just my personal take. We do have our own personal tastes hehehe ✌️

Here in the Philippines i think its all automatic
The FJ's gasoline V6 is definitely going to last you years. And your dad's Prado and RX350 next please!

Had one years ago. Almost perfect if only it didn't drink gas like there's no tomorrow. I called it the OPEC Special. nice video!
Toyotas seem to last a lifetime. It’s like they’re built to run forever. ✅
TOYOTA with a great experience n driving.

Nice choice of ride, FJ cruisers hold their value because of its reliability, others pay more for used ones.
Pogi ng FJ Cruiser! Also....Onewheel spotted at 3:40 👀👀👀

Wow! It motivates me to study more to be able to buy my own car. Thankyou for sharing this Sir slayter! 💓
So inspiring Kuya Slater we love you and Ate Kryz and Scottie Boo too! 😍💖
Nice opening scene man! Cheers from IRELAND 🇮🇪
Yayy we finally get to see Slaters FJ Cruiser in depth on a video on it’s own :)
Let this be a reminder to me to work hard to get myself and my family a car 🥺

FJ Cruiser, my dream car!! 😍 Would definitely need a stepboard too kasi I'm only 4'11 hahaha lol but imagine an FJ being driven by a small girl lol
These clips are just wow ❤.
That was the car I want to own several years ago although I'm not into cars. I just love how it looks.
Classic! 👌
The New Land Cruiser Wagon LC300 (Diesel) will be a best option if you want an extra bigger car for family. The bad ass work horse of Toyota.
Wow! the cinematography! 😙👌
The Pride Of Japan
Proof that Slater is definitely rich if he dailies this beast. I have friends with money but they say it cost them 10k/week to daily this thing.
then they don't have enough money
Its true at 500km cost me 11t
im curious, how come na inaabot ng 10k weekly?

It's a nice suv and I surely would like one. But I've heard horror stories with regard to its mileage. 👻
Nice car! Sana your next car is full sized pick-up na!
I would suggest getting an AT tire 285/75/17 and a 17" rims with at least -12 offset to get it more offroading capable.
Grabe talaga intro!!

Ganda ng car
Manifestation
Magkakaroon din ako nyan SIR SLATER👍👍👍
Sir Slater I think its time for a wheel, tire and suspension especially if you use it onsite and occasionally carry heavy stuff.
Timeless yung design ng Fj
Sir Slater I think it will much look great if you upgrade the tire to a bigger size and its good for off road too.
My friend has a white fj cruiser too but with larger tires! Looks better 😊
yahaya jud aning Yaya Jera oi
A vehicle fit for an Engineer indeed 😉💪
