I can see the pride in Sir Slater's eyes everytime his wife utters engineering/architectural tips and ideas. Kudos. 👍💪
I totally feel how Slater says his yeses to Kryz all throughout this vid. The sense of being proud of your partner for being attentive to the littlest details of everything 🥺. You guys are sooo lovely and wholesome.
man! Slater is an intelligent dude and he gets smarter because he has the means to apply, put things into practice, and learn from them
Agreed👌
If you are rich..and can afford window cleaners, that's all well and good. If not, just go outside and enjoy the scene.
Not just intelligent he has the money to apply and put things into practice. Everyone can be intelligent but not everyone has the means to experiment.

It's crazy how Slater exudes manliness. Both are equally good-looking. Bagay!
I enjoy listening to both of you. You really make a good team and talk so much sense, continue smiling and laughing as it give good vibes, cheers!
Galing! natural na natural yung presentation and review, honest, walang kaplastikan. Also, ang cute ni Kryz!
we'll be moving to a half glass half concrete house mid september, the house design is inspired with your 1.5M peso build :)
San po yung half million peso build?
@@raymondendaya4077 sorry I meant 1.5M peso build
Can you share the actual pictures? ;)
@@njbernardo4499 for some reason, YT doesn't allow me to post link here, nor post my email, idk what to do to be able to share the pics 😅

I swear every content that the both of you make is something that interests me.

I think what’s missing also are CEILING FANS that might help in keeping homes feel cooler.
Learning something from your partner is a love language. Grabe ka couple goals 🥺❤
right!!! 😭❤️
There are only five love languages.......... 🙄
@@lexheart5877what are those?
I really love how this couple talk to each other, they were so wholesome♥️
It makes the vlog more engaging coz wifey making it fun and there is a conversation using layman's terminologies. Learning a lot! :)
I really loved the couple duo “Slater and Kryz”. Very smart both of you.
Slater really worked on her wife’s dreamhouse. Such a loving family man.
Between Aesthetics Vs Maintenance will always go for something the whole Family can consistently Maintain. Love Glass in colder climate. not Typhoon PH climate.
agree 😊
4:20 this spot is absolutely stunning!
They're talking about technical stuffs but ug can't help but admire these two! Thank you for imparting so much knowledge and being so adorable!
Being mindful of where the sun rises and sets.. When building, avoid these heat / hot spots and have those big glass windows and doors in cooler areas. Many clients do not see the benefits of these despite advise of professionals before making those blue prints.
Nope, maybe they try to consider that. But still the decision is still on the client. Because i experienced it, that i explained and discuss everything to the client but they insisted that they want a large window. So, as a result they regret there decision. The lesson here always listen to the professionals suggestion.
Hello po pwede magtanong super init po ng house namin,di naman sya glass house. Bungalow lng sya any suggestion po? Para lumamig naman please? My husband doesn't know about this😌
This is just my opinion, other professionals in this channel may have better solutions.
Heat needs to escape.
Trapped heat happens when roof is too low, has no air vents , no insulation before the ceiling.
Quick fix are: install a wall exhaust fan to bring warm air out. Put/add thicker insulation between roof and ceiling. Also, check air vents at the end corners of the roof, use larger L-shaped vents if yours is none or too small.
Medium fix is if your roof has an A-frame, install gable vents between the A slope. Vents can be made of louvre metal or wood.
Major fix - in your next renovation or new home, consider a roof pitch of 30 degrees to allow better air circulation.
I live in florida where we have hurricanes..during the renovation,I remember that I was not allowed to have big overhangs due to hurricane issues. With strong hurricane winds, the expansive overhangs will contribute to the possibility of the roof being blown off easily from the rest of the house. This is something to make note of in hurricane prone areas!
the commitment with having a glass house in general is really hard. the expense of maintenance is really tough. i would only suggest these to clients if they can really commit with the expense even after construction 😅
The part that slater is sometimes like a teacher or lecturer to kryz🤣 but at least learning from your husband is one of the sweetest☺️👌🏻, i like the design of glass house, too expensive lang talaga as well as the maintenance, and you need to find a suit-in place where to build it. I’m planning to have one mini Skypod V3.0..😅 thanks for sharing, one of my fav couple Slater and Kryz🤍💕such a genuine and likable 👩❤️👨😉
It's really a fantastic presentation. Slater Young's knowledge about the basics and technical aspects of house building is very comprehensive, at kahit sinong architect at would-be homeowners ay matututo mula sa kaniya at sa wife niyang si Kryz. Good job guys! Keep on making more useful videos about home building.😉😊👏
How to find a slater Ms. Kryz♥️
You are both blessed to have each other. I will get back to this comment once I found my own slater. Thank u for featuring a realistic couple that help each other grow. You keep on learning from each other and that makes your relationship healthy. I really envy how you two look at each other, so much love! Hope to meet you three some day. ♥️
In gay clubs...
I love watching and listening to you guys - Slater and Kryz. Both of you are very eloquent. Your voice is easy in the ears..
My take on this is parang mas madaming cons kaysa sa pros sa glass house nila and I appreciate their honesty about it. We just built our house too ( may not be as new anymore because we’ve been living on it for just over 2 years) and like kryz i like seeing outside and not feeling constricted inside the house. We didn’t make the house “full glass” but just the living room making it a cathedral ceiling with almost the same height of windows. I love it! And We just installed blinds, the ones that you can totally blocked the sun out in the middle of the day.
I can really see Engr. Sevi and Elyse in them 😭💗~

Nice hearing Kryz, say the words Slater usually mention. They're cute couple.
Galing! So natural and smooth. Your chemistry is palpable and your teamwork really makes your dreams work. Cheers to a fun marriage and life adventure. And thanks for all the learnings! Ma-glass din ang fenceless bahay namin and nasa hill but may neighbors tho di naman dikit. Windbreaker kami pag bagyo at malupit pag tag-init!
Maam Kryz stole the show 🔥her talking in depth about architectural / engineering topic is just lit and cute.
Beautiful house! Suggestions: 1. To lower electricity bill: solar panels on the roof - the AC works hardest when the sun shines. Also provides insulation by preventing direct sunlight on the metal roof. 2. Rolling shutters or something similar * on the outside* - before the sun can get inside and heat up everything. These also work well to block out the sun. 3. German style tilt windows - preferably double-pane. They don't just tilt, these also open the whole way. They just tilt differently.
Get a partner that looks at you the way Kryz looks at Slater. 😍🥰
I know bro, sana all haha! Where to find another Kryz?? 😔😂
Where to find another Slater too? They are both superb. How I really love this young beautiful couple 👌
be so rich, be a celebrity, that is how you attract one.

GOALS. The way their minds interact. Sobrang natural.
Double paneled glass tends to gather up moisture in between the two panels at times which can't be cleaned since it's between the glass:) if ever anyone thinks of getting them:)
True. Double paneled glass are so nice but have to live with the fact that it’s not going to be clear forever. :(
@12:02 minutes, double paneled glass injected with argon gas to avoid moisture and maintain the clear translucent view of the glass:)
@@charddulay2011 Except if the seal is broken, which can sometimes lead to mold, which is very not good!
You must be talking of a simple 2 glass paneled windows that are ubiquitous in many houses in the Philippines, that’s why you said they “gather up moisture in between the two panels”. For your education, the true dual pane window is filled with argon and air-tight sealed. Either you saw a cheap 2 panel glass window or a cracked/sealing gone bad dual pane window, ok?
I have double paneled glass in my house in holland, more than 25years and no damp inside or discoloration
My takeaway from this: a glass house requires at least a 3 ha property if you need privacy. Otherwise, your property boundary needs full greenery/berming to couple your full-protection wall fence. The greenery will achieve the fresh natural atmosphere you seek in building a glass house.
(Note: ha = hectare)
Kaya ako nag-asawa ng matalino kasi tatalino din ako and these couple is the proof! Educational, thanks for sharing.
I love the chemistry..was glued to the whole video.. stumbled on this video as i was looking for ideas on a glass cabin house. This is very informative and entertaining..thanks ❤
I used to want to live in a glass house but I find it difficult to find a secure off-the-grid property in South or North Luzon. It really has to be in a secluded place so you’ll have privacy but it also needs to be secured so you know no one would attempt to sneak inside your house while you’re asleep.
Anyway, thank you for the need on double glass panel for sound insulation when living in the city 😊 The transformer also seems interesting. I’ll check it out.
And getting lectures from a husband from a different industry is really fun. You get to learn more about other industries. So since my husband is in the I.T. industry, I get to learn more about his industry as well as blockchain technology 😊
La Union is Perfect to build for RestHouse Off-Grid spot. I build a 2 bedroom tiny house in the middle of our vineyard. Close enough to tue beach but also near the City like Baguio, Surf Town, Pangasinan and Manila is only 4 hour drive
Seriously, the two of you are so underrated youtubers. the quality of the Video and the content are soooooooo better than the others that has more subs(no hate, btw). But seriously, i really appreciate the efforts and the outputs that the two of you give. sooo salute to the both of you! 👍🏻❤️

I"m actually building an art studio right now here in cebu and your videos have been my source of inspiration. Thank you to you both!
Ngayon ko lang napansin, may pagka-starbucks vibe ang Skypod. Ang ganda talaga!
Since you have an open area, most of the time bukas yung windows nyo, how do you get rid of dust? I hope you could show us how you usually clean your house with all the dust or maybe how to have a dust free house if that's possible. Thanks Slater! :)
I think that is one of the main reasons they hired mga kasambahay because they knew that it will be headache to maintain the cleanliness of the Skypod all the time.
Specially the jalousie window that is very elevated to clean.
Did I miss it? Was dealing with mosquitoes mentioned when they open the glass doors?
Denniszen i don’t think they mentioned it in this video, but in one of their old ones Slater showed a screen cover mechanism that they unfurl when they open the glass doors. It’s not visible because the screen is hidden and rolls back to the sides.
@@margauxarguelles6128 Thanks so much for letting me know. Hope that screen is easy to dust off because in most cases they stick over the years.
Is it just me? But i find it cute and kind of funny when slater looks ↘️ when talking to Kryz and Kryz has to look ↖️ when talking to Slater🤭
I have studied the Keller and Panoramah window system...it always uses the double panel glass...its reduces the heat greatly so it increase AC eff.. also prevents moisture on glass panels.
I think your house is the best house I have ever seen among celebrity houses, even Presello houses I have seen in Philippines youtübe. And I watch a lot of those tours from California. You are being honest to admit that the glass used should have been dual-pane glass where internal temperature is optimized between hot or cold environments; aside from insulating against noise which I could see is not a problem at the moment. I continue to watch tiny house concepts as it is practical in the Philippines tropical setting.
It’s good that you have installed solar energy system to offset not only your carbon footprint; help the environment & climate change and save a few bucks at the same time.
Very informative channel re house construction. I regret for not knowing Sir Slater Young's channel before I started my dream house. So much to learn from this channel. Thank you Sir Slater Young.
So much fun watching the both of you. especially kay misis.. I love her humor

We also live in a glass house for almost 6 years now here in Antipolo Rizal. 2 things not mentioned here, it is scary when there are typhoon and thunders, though our house survived typhoon Ulysses, still really scary.
What type of glass did you use? We are planning to have one in bicol where there ks always a typhoon 😬
@@akoitosiariana4796 definitely, it should be tempered so when it breaks, it breaks into corn-like pieces, not shards of glass. Thickness of glass depends on the size of glass windows, your glass contractor should know that and should comply with what is in the building code and should consider that typhoon frequently hits Bicol region. Thicker glass normally has a green color, bec of the iron oxide content in it. You might consider putting special tint (3M) to make it stronger or others have a standby shutter outside to protect the glass windows and interior of the house from typhoon.
@@DD-vv5ws thanks will coordinate this with our architect
Since it is a well ventilated space, hindi ba madalas magkakaron ng dust sa loob ng bahay? if thats the case then how can you minimize dust in the house.
The answer is yes, madalas ang dust sa bahay, there’s no escaping that. My house isnt a glass house but we have to clean everyweek because dust bunnies are always present despite the fact na enclosed ang bahay namin. We have lots of trees din gaya ng kanila but we dont open our windows because of dust and pollen. Btw sa US kami nakatira sa east coast so may 4 season and it gets cold here. So imagine a house like them when they have fresh air coming in all the time, the amount of dust na meron sila is probably 5x na mas madami. But they have maids to do their cleaning so it doesn’t bother them.
I think that's why they have the tiny cleaning robot.
i love how you talk to each other
Ang ganda po ng house nyo.. Parang hotel na. Grabeng conceptualization yung ginugol..
At ang galing nyo po magdeliver ng reviews.. I'm learning a lot. God bless po sa inyo..:)

cross ventilation.
lahat ng kwarto namin may exhaust fan. although walang up and down section. in and out lang. it does make a difference. super galing.
Grabe ung shots and transition! Just wow!!!!!
Kryz gives opinions and Slater gives what it would cause and cons, a perfect and diverse couple damn
This is always what I thought about glass houses: Greenhouse effect. Not that I can afford to have a glass house. But If I can afford it, yes, might as well invest in solar panels for sustainability (esp for the AC)
You might also want consider "thermally broken" aluminum frames to go with the double glaze low-e Glass panels. It helps with the heat transfer. Di ko lang alam if available na ung technology sa pinas. :)
Hooked on this channel! So much useful information, excellent use of visuals to illustrate theory and such engaging and warm personalities!

Im glad to hear if you notice this comment 😁
sir ang sarap manuod ng mga videos nyo kasi may katuturan at may natutotunan :) god bless po sa family nyo
At the end of the day guys, marami talagang cons. Nasa pag-uusap iyan. Advantage ang may idea sa structure and anesthetics. To me sa Pilipinas kung tinted ang glass, okay sa akin. Ang mahirap is Philippines has MONSOON RAINS! dinadaanan tayo ng bagyo. Most parts are over the fault line nililindol tayo. Kaya amazing may glass house! Kaso maraming risk factors kasi anlaki ng glass na ginamit sa house nila. I wonder how much handling cost Nila sa glass na iyan. .
First time to watch your vlog & I’m impressed! Very straightforward and informative 💯
Can you show please what do you use to open jalousie up there...love the ideas. Point taken....keep up guys...enjoying your posts
I watched the full video ❤️
.. first time in my life 🔥....it was really informative video and honest review 🔥 thank you ❤️
I came here after watching ate Kryz's latest vlog. Naghilak ko didto niya gakatawa ko diri ahahahha
Mao pod ko nihilak ko sa vlog ni kryz dre katawa ko sa iladuha..
There is a lot of big windows and slidings doors in our house and we chose to have double glazed glassess, not only because it is sound proof, but also it can save energy.
Totally agree with the girl. Natural light is key. Most homes in the US are very dark and no thought to solar gain.
I can feel the pain just by looking at the house design, Yes at times init gyud. Ka remember ko when i was in college (architecture) permi i revise ako design bcoz my profsr was skeptical about my all-glass building bcz it will cost so much on electrcty due to the high demand of ac units. He said its a good design if its in Germany, not in the Philippines. Haha Pero if you like that look then why not? Importante lang you have to embrace the cons 😃 for me though- id prefer modern mediterranean as it is comfortable, practical and has a timeless look to it. also, a
glass house sa bukid for vacation use only haha
What about high light transmission nano-ceramic film? It’s high UV energy blocking
Pinapanood ko pa rin about bahay nila kahit mahirap ako.
Paano po insect? Mosquito? Insekto sa ilaw lalo na sa gabi. How u manage it? Well naisip ko lang po yon. But yiur house is 100% awesome!
wow what I observe in you both. Your blending each which makes your vlogging so amusing. Keep it up. Ang share does positive and also the negative side of what you are vlogging. great! Good job!
Guys ! my ate haus they use UV double glass not so hot in summer . pero malamig pag winter kc double glass nga . Good idea tipid s electric dahil maliwanag lahat ng parte ng loob ng bahay d n kailangan ng ilaw ang ganda ng bahay nyo guys beautiful model haus .
Very informative ❤️ also reading the comment section amaze me coz people are exchanging knowledge😊 and that is learning 💕
7:39 that look on slater face when kryz doing a transformer thing 😂
Madami talagang factor when designing tropical shelter. Applying curtain walls and shade (vertical, horizontal or egg crate) to your windows are the usual solutions, but since it is glass house, I think the most applicable solution is to incorporate sun path diagram, to design the right ledge or overhang length of your roof.
And base sa laki ng window nila, maliit talaga yung designed ledge for now, kasi floor to ceiling
If too much ang overhang length, you can consider using additional vertical louver kahit sa facade lang ng room.
Kaya uso ang brise soleil design sa Pinas before mas nauso lang talaga modern contemporary ngayon.
you guys are too adorable, love your house. I'm a civil engineer too, and I like your design skills. Keep on sharing. Stay Safe!
Is it just me or are you also entertained by how Madam Kryz knows a lot about engineering stuff na??
Very informative. The pros and cons are being tuckled and the options were also mentioned. 😊👍
Lumpiang sariwa nice wrapping looks better than the way the bed spread was laid on, so immediately maybe
I love your house, but any glass breakages? You two are adorable…..thank you for sharing. Don’t forget to tell us about your next project.
My dream house is also a glass house. Ever since I watched Full house before, I really really want to have that feeling a glass house gives.
there are special glass films that filter UV and heat, preventing furniture color to fade and keep your rooms cool
Hello May I ask, does it cost more than the plain glass?
Very informative video. Thank you love from zamboanga city
