2006 Volkswagen Jetta taillight/brake light bulb replacement

I have a problem with signal light on the back won't work but bulbs are good cables looks ok, it's a 2010 jetta, what else should I check?

Check for power and ground. Make sure the socket is in good shape and that it's sitting good in the taillight! Make sure nothing is melted from inproper installation
