There are so many guys driving around in Ireland with VW, Audi and Lexus that have changed to cheap LED bulbs that it is now a nightmare to be out after dark. These idiots don’t care who they dazzle as long as the have bright white lights. Some action needs to be taken on this anti social behaviour.
I replaced the interior lights in my car with leds and the difference is amazing when I open the car at night. The light the little leds give off is brilliant but I think leds are illegal for use in headlights in Ireland.
The headlamp bulbs in my Volvos have been a lot easier to replace than on my 2010 BMW 3 series. Stupid BMW for not using Volvo type metal tabs to hold the headlamps in place.
Jimmy, Now you have had them in your Volvo for a while now how do they fair? Do they stay bright or as with other LED's become dimmers as they heat up ? Please do a follow up vid on their performance please. Thanx.
@@Stoney3Kyour correct, as from 01/04/86 your not meant to put an hid or led in a head lamp unit that was designed for halogen. Failure is "light source and lamp not compatible" However what your meant to do and not do is usually moved about a bit 😂👍
Interesting, i bought a set of Philips led bulbs for £140 a few years ago and apparently they had the best beam pattern on the market at the time, my mot tester mate put them on his headlight alignment tester and their edges were all over the place, they were also a bugger to fit, depending on price which i haven't checked these might be worth a look.
I doubt they will pass with the pattern they are making and with the extended throw to the outside that will blind folks, if they are put in to a projector type unit they might be good enough. and yes the headlight clips should be standard on how they are afixed.
These will be great around here in rural Ireland as I'm always using high beam because my normal bulbs are too weak 😑 I tried the link and i think it took me to USA site with prices in $ . Also it didn't take me to your led light but into site full of everything so confusing then after navigation and searching by looking at images i found few different ones with different Watts and then had to chose between y13 . Q16 ... i got confused and left the site 🤔😕 They shoul have provided you with direct link to that exact led lights and not their complicated web site. Good video nevertheless 👌👍✌❤☘
Interesting, a friend of mine was moving to Australia and offered me his Citroen C5 aircross that had £6,800 payment left to be paid off, the only reason i didnt buy it was because of the awful halogen lights they have. I thought LED's were illegal.
These will cause your car to fail the MOT. Check the rfr in the mot inspection manual, found via .gov. LED bulbs are not to be fitted to headlamps that didn't originally have them fitted.
Existing halogen headlamp units on vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must not be converted to be used with high intensity discharge (HID) or light emitting diode (LED) bulbs. If such a conversion has been done, you must fail the headlamp for light source and lamp not compatible.
yeah I hate to say it but most mot testers will fail the car because of the light pattern. those housing are not designed for led lights. also the old bill will pull your over, had it happen to a friend he was pissed right off the kit wasn't cheap
All led bulb upgrade are illegal. But u will only get blinded, if u get the wrong type of led. Get the right ones and u won’t. As long as it matches the beam pattern, the correct orientation of the two sided led chips. U wonMt blind others,
Who cares. We rather upgrade from halogen to led, to see better, and be seeing better. As long as the beam pattern remains the same, and same orientation to mimic the halogen beam pattern. It’s all good. Better safety with proper led. And halogens are not bright enough and not safe enough. 😊
So what. We still rather upgrade with a proper two sided led bulbs for us see better and be seeing better. As long as it’s a two sided led bulbs and mimic the same beam pattern, that’s all that matters.

I hate blinding other drivers slightly less than I hate other drivers blinding me, but I only have LED bulbs fitted to my reversing lights, 🙂

And the uk
Still working so much better than standard have to get to them from wheel arch best way is to knock the small panel out from engine bay
No problem with mine great lights good cutoff pass 2 MOT no problem

My 2006 Ford Mondeo had the same quick release Headlights.
My current Audi A3 is a nightmare to change bulbs.
You need to adjust the driver’s side headlamp aim down a bit. Just saying!😅 they don’t look to bad with the cutoff pattern!
would be interesting to see if it would pass an MOT on the beam pattern
Nothing wrong with that pattern.
I'd say the old bulbs were on borrowed time though.
@@mattmckie6967The pattern looks fine, but the bulb is still officially uncertified so it would technically fail MOT.

@@MrByootox And you need headlight washers on HID back in the day.

£90 on amazon
Did he pass them?
@@fanfeck2844 Of course he did he's my mate 😀 he reckons it would be touch and go with other testers.

My led H7 is fitted in the projector housing Audi A4 B5... Works great and the beam patterns is amazing
50,000 hour life it said on the box. Please report back in a year or so.
Got Auxito LED's in my Superb DRL's. One lasted just over a year which was roughly 10,000 hours, the other is still going 18 months later.
I've had Auxito headlight LED for over 2 years now and still working fine

You sound more Irish than me! What are you on about?
how long they last ?? stil works?
I have a focus which uses H7 bulb fitment. However according to ebay these won't fit my car. Im confused as to why. Can anyone chime in please. Thanks
Are they E marked? So technically illegal if not (at least for UK MOTs) - off road use only AFAIK. They do look good and level however…
Check the video it’s on the box.
Have them in my Skoda I think they are great just wish I could get them in H15 with DRL lights that are not to bright
are they reliable? still working?
Interesting, a friend of mine was moving to Australia and offered me his Citroen C5 aircross that had £6,800 payment left to be paid off, the only reason i didnt buy it was because of the awful halogen lights they have. I thought LED's were illegal.
Technically they are. But if the pattern is good enough it will pass an mot check here in the UK
Are these headlight bulbs h7 ERROR FREE? VW POLO 2010 6R
dont work on mercedes they throw a bulb error ive tried loads of different led bulbs even canbus led bulbs still dont work
Some youtuber said to not install these LED without a resistors. Can you pls explain?
Some cars will show error saying bulb is not working even though it is. A resistor can stop that
Do they swap to halogen for mot?

I was expecting the Xexon and LED police to show up.
Realize modern police cars comes with relfecotr style led headlights.
So I don’t see the difference.
I’d rather upgrade with led. Regardless.
You can always remove the before mot and after put them back
If there anything like outdoor led lights ill give them 3 months max
I've had mine for over 2 years now and still working fine.
Will it work on Mercedes sprinter or crafter with out throwing up code ?
Try it?
Impressed
Do these bulbs throw any error codes up ? Thanks in advance.
Not on 99% of cars according to the manufacturer
do they throw up an error for a blown bulb ?
Not on this car. Works on 99% of cars according to AUXITO
yeah I hate to say it but most mot testers will fail the car because of the light pattern. those housing are not designed for led lights. also the old bill will pull your over, had it happen to a friend he was pissed right off the kit wasn't cheap
If the beam pattern remains the same. Then it should be good. As long as it’s a two sided led chips.
Hey up buddy, will these pass a MOT?
I'm not an mot tester so can say. But looks good enough to me
Hope because u can't retro fit hid or led bulbs in lamps that arnt designed for them so straight up fail
Still got light scatter
Do you have a discount code bud
Yeah see it cheers
JIMMYORILEY
Are you giving them away in a quiz
What's the question?
Ur not making any sense
Looks to be set too high, on both bulbs
6500k wont any good in the rain.snow etc etc
Idiots here in Ireland are fitting these and blinding other drivers, they even drive with fog lights on at night as well. Should be illegal.

U wonMt blind others,
These ultra high power white headlight bulbs are absolutely dazzling to oncoming motorists!!! Highly dangerous I think.
I thought they were only sold as off road lights, and were illegal
lol there’s nothing dangerous about it.
It only depends how much wattage u want to draw, and see if it’s enough brightness for u on the road.
@@fanfeck2844I mean they are. All led bulbs are illegal.
But that’s ok, we still upgrade to see better and be seeing better at night.
You will fail your MOT the test has been changed to outlaw just replacing Halogen with LED in lights that were not designed for LED.
Not if you know a friendly tester or just take them out for mot.
Who cares. We rather upgrade from halogen to led, to see better, and be seeing better. As long as the beam pattern remains the same, and same orientation to mimic the halogen beam pattern. It’s all good.

This is total shit for the price..not even 5months life..
I've had 2 sets for over 1 year with no faults
I've commented a few times to help, but not going to like this nonsense.
There’s nothing nonsense about Auxito led headlight bulbs.
In UK the fitting of LED bulbs in headlights not designed for LED bulbs will result in AUTOMATIC MoT FAILURE.
So what. We still rather upgrade with a proper two sided led bulbs for us see better and be seeing better.
