My 100 finger bunch of bananas are almost at the end but I'm using not wasting even one. see my 6 ways I'm using the bananas.
1. eat ripe
2. banana bread
3. frozen chicken treats
4. freeze for morning shakes
5. banana peel slurry for the garden
6. dry peels, pulverize and use as dry fertilizer
7. if green you can boil and use instead of potatoes

My worms love bananas. I freeze them and place a frozen banana in the bin. Worms eat the inside first and then the skin. Also, the ground-up eggshells are perfect for the worm's digestive tract. Like you chickens, they have gizzards to break down the food they consume.
