This clip is one of the best 'swim video clips' I have seen. its a "must watch".
This video is a must-watch for anyone trying to improve their swimming!
Glad I found this video - my swimming has improved a lot already!
Thanks for the helpful advice!
Thank you for this. Enlightening.
This video has everything you need for swimming success!
Super helpful and informative video!
Hi CM, Understanding this reason is a tremendous help in order to know what we need to do to progress in our swimming journey. This has helped me immensely , thanks SWIMVICE 🏊🏽♂🙏🏽
The explanations are really easy to follow.
Very informative!
Swimming is paradoxical. As a land animal I want to plow thru like a runner but doing so it doesn’t work well. Breathing suffers and distance cannot be achieved. I am still fighting relaxation as a new swimmer. It is hard to feel like I am working by swim leisurely. So every day I practice not tensing muscle. I will get it eventually.
Great insight
This video is the key to swimming success!
I was chatting with some one who works with a lot of beginner swimmers about being comfortable in the water, which some are not. Me, I was at home in the water first time I can remember being in the water. I mentioned the skill we called bobbing. For me, I thought it was kind of like doing jumping jacks in the water, and you establish a rhythm. He agreed that it was a good way to get comfortable with being in the water. I liked the deep end, but when beginning, you don't even have to be in water that is over your head.
What a fantastic tutorial!
I'm definitely going to be using these techniques more often.
Love it
Highly recommend it to all swimmers.
My thoughts you don't take enough time on the breath, and you are kicking just below the water. This is why I was trying quickly. Finally fixed!
Never thought about tension either physical or mental
I really think this is my biggest problem. I've been through many swim coaches and yet not one of them focuses on that, although i'm having trouble with swimming more than 100m continuously for already 1.5 year. They all go straight to technique. Except for the occasional "try breathing out more" suggestion. When i do some gentle kicking with a kickboard and fins, with face in the water and breathing when necessary, i also can't keep on going, at some point my breathing just goes haywire. But i do think it's a good way to practice it, so i think I'm going to try building up distance like that
Aye, and swimming in my best form feels effortless.
This video helped me improve my technique.
