I bought one of these for 1700 otd. Mounted the scope with the rings supplied. The rings had sharp burs on them so i lapped the rings. Mounted the scope tried sighting it in at 50 yard couldn't hit the target. The scope ran out of travel. Looked at the scope it was crooked as hell. Long story short the Ruger rings must be made in China or someone doesn't have qc for one the most important components. I bought Warnes scope mounts 👌 hopefully qc wakes up or gets back from vacation. Ive seen and heard others having issues with these rugers improper stock fitment. Barrels are NOT free-floating wedged to the stock and some stocks are split because of it. I didn't contact Ruger because a $1700 gun shouldn't have these issues. First and last Ruger I ever bought and I'll fix it. The old saying is if you want it right do it yourself. Not ever again. Dont believe me go to Jay Lewis channel his rifle had to be all Un-Rugered
