Did this myself, just watched your tutorial for comparison, the slider pins for the caliper are different lengths and must go back in their relevant positions. I didn't know this till i was doing the job, i put mine back wrong at first till i clocked the difference, one is 81mm the other is 84mm so i thought i'd mention this for future reference to warn others who would be doing this procedure. You did good by the way, excellent guide and informative, cheers.
Currently doing mine. The shoes are needing replaced as are the slider pins, so I have more parts to order. The carrier bolts on mine are 18mm, not 19.
Hello Edwin... the car has covered 105,00 miles approx 170,000 Kilometres and has been used daily... I the UK it is rains a lot....and they use a lot of salt on the roads in the winter so that is quite normal condition for Brake parts here....! All the best....Trevor
Hello James....search me they are always like that..... you get that lip on the edge of the disc where the pads don't touch every set I have ever changed is the same....Cheers....Trevor
@@jetblack11td Thanks for replying. Thinking of purchasing one and noticed the ring of rust on the rear discs. Been looking at a lot of videos and pictures of the T31 and they are all the same. Cheers.

Why does the pads not cover the full face of the disc. They seem to have made them too small a width for the disc face.
