Nice to see wrench back on the channel. The epod station is worth getting when unlocked. It certainly makes oil changes much easier. FYI: you can empty the fluid pan by moving it through the recycle bin. I believe the devs hope to implement engine starts eventually for diagnostics etc Hope things are well out west. Supposed to get first snow here tomorrow. Cheers from Niagara Falls :)
I tried it, and I asked for a refund. Its extremely buggy after 5 years of development. Couldnt hop on a bike with a couple items, because the bike would just bounce up really high like a balloon. Controls are pretty messy, and you spend a long time trying to survive like a savage man instead of actually building the car. Id buy it back if they made the controls more bearable and fix the physics. However, the dev is already working on a sequel.... A sequel of a super buggy game that has been on Early Access for 5 years now. How can I expect him to ever finish the game?
@@danatopereira Now, thats your personal experience. The game has its own flair. The survival part is really cool and fun because it makes the game more interesting and not so boring. Only building the car would be.. meh.. also there are lots of mods and shit and I think the physics give this game its own character. You cant expect a AAA game from a small development team but I think if you put it in relation the game is awesome.
Woooooweeyyy to think i could watch the northern mechanic on my vr headset on line and hear his voice in my virtual ears through the head set in my actual ears as i watch him with my real eyes..... my brain just exploded lol
Would you say that wrench is a decent way to learn the basics of car maintenance and repair? How realistic is it compared to actually working on a car? I have no experience working on cars but I'd really like to start learning more about cars and Wrench seems like it may be the perfect way to do that, I just want to make sure I'll be learning real skills before I commit too much time to it.
It is very realistic when it comes to learning what the parts are called and some general understanding of where they are located. However once you wrench for real you quickly learn that it’s never going to go that smooth
@@TheNorthernAlex yeah i figured it out. Really cool game but the change oil thing didn't work. I bought an oil pan and a wrench. Drained the oil. Put the plug back in. Changed the oil filter. Put new oil in. And the dipstick was clean and the mission said I hadn't filled it up.
@@juicedgryphon70ooo13 Its only a few people working on it and every single part (mostly) of the car has to be 3d modelled and added to the game, Its a lot of work to add a bunch of cars, they're adding a v8 soon btw
"it sounds so satisfying when you're exchanging fluids." Couldn't have put it more eloquently myself brother
This has to be pinned

OMG!
This game is perfect!!
SO REAL!
It’s even better now
14:26 I love that I can imagine the facial expressions change 😂
🤣 it was too obvious
can we all just agree this is car mechanic simulator... or any other of it's variations using different types of vehicles?
It’s definitely one of the better mechanic simulations l
If you like this then you gotta play My Summer Car.
I suggested this before but Alex said he wont play a game that allows/promotes driving while drunk.
I tried it, and I asked for a refund.

@@sixstringbestfriend talk about stiff
you could get the modmic wireless to record your voice in vr

Intriguing game. Looks like it woube a blast in vr
I have tried it in VR and it is a blast indeed!
Nice
wish they would add a wrench set to the tool kit!
The game is called wrench, that has to be enough 😅🤣😂🥲

@@TheNorthernAlex like welded bolt by rust that wont come off etc..?
16:18 stuff like this would drive me INSANE
this should be a VR ONLY thing
This game is so difficult to play without VR
I found it more difficult with VR but maybe because of the VR system I am using
I got into the game and I got to work my dream car engine
Sweet
Im really late but how tf do I play on PC??? My mouse doesn't work literally.
Make sure you start the non VR version

But it's literally what I thought car mechanic was
Did you have it between the filler lines ?
use the vr headsets built in mic or a lapel mic with obs or just use the one uy are now and turn up the db's in editing
bro does he not sound like car might vids
It seems like your description had a stroke
That happens 😂
I wanna play this but idk if I’ll be to run it on a i3 10th gen and a 2060 lol
Yeah that might be a bit of a challenge 😅
Can wrench be for casual gamers too
I don’t see why no, it’s a very in depth game but has great documentation and tutorials so that non mechanics should have no problem with it either
They needa add more cars
Agreed
@@TheNorthernAlex I honestly might buy this game if they add more cars game looks awesome
