As much as I want another daily vlog, I'm happier to go without one knowing that he's getting to spend more time focusing on his marriage and kids. I've never felt that with any other creator. He was the first one to make me care about his world, not just the world he was showing. I remember right before the vlog ended thinking "man, they seem really stressed out" and when he ended the vlog I was sad like everybody else, but part of me was glad for his family's sake.
Empathy. Casey's vlogs taught empathy.
It's great to see him every now and then. I'd love it if he'd come back, but seeing him have a happier and healthier family means more to me, and I think it means more to all of us.

Well said. I feel the exact same way and have listened to many interviews with him that say as much. It sucks that we have to sacrifice so much some times for our goals. At least all his hard work paid off - that's super rad. He inspired me to start a channel and only a year into in so far and it has taught me so much about myself and has also really helped with controlling my depression. I truly credit Casey with motivating me to work on my mental health, good to see him again here!

I work for the Directors' Fortnight, the section of the Cannes Film Festival where the movie Casey worked on was shown more than 10 years ago, and it has always been my biggest regret not to have met him then.
This year I was also at the Elvis premiere and when I realised I was in the same room as him I tried my best to find Casey to thank him as it is thanks to him that I applied to this internship back in 2019. I am now the social media and digital communication manager, the youngest one in the office (24 years old). He was and he is still my favorite RUclipsr (and visual artist/filmmaker) and he inspired me to try work in this industry. So if by any chance Casey sees this, I would like to say hi and thank you virtually.
PS: the fact that the biggest French content creator Lena Situations has her hand down the toilet to find Candice's bracelet is the funniest thing to me - and I know Lena is a huge Casey Neistat fan too :)

Everyone grows up, does their own, different thing eventually, but every once in awhile, we take time to go back to the old things and enjoy it like just yesterday. This video happens when I travel back to my hometown for a vacation and almost things remain the same, giving a strong nostalgic vibe.
