Great video - With home assistant I started off with one room just to get used to it then added to it - Automations become addictive - You may also like the TVOC sensor.

I am in the HVAC business, putting the temp sensor near the door frame is in dead air space. Best location is more central on a wall away from corners and door ways. You may find it’s more accurate that way.

Great review Scott. Does the Radiator Thermostat E1 make excessive noise when it is adjusting?

I would say not. I can only hear it if I get close and listen for it otherwise I’ve never noticed.

Hi Scott enjoyed your video. Noticed you put the temp sensor next to the door casing, you may have a problem when you go to change the battery because you need to turn the sensor. I have been using Aqara devices for about a year and if you had asked me a month ago I would have said they're great. Unfortunately about 3 weeks ago my G3 hub started going offline and online by itself. The hub which had 14 "child device" attache to it caused a bit of a problem. Aqara tech support has not been a big help unfortunately. I have factory reset it several times and nothing has changed. Since I'm close to the end of the warranty period I believe they are going to push emails until the end. They don't seem to read my emails just repeat the same instructions. Email tech is slow (48 hours+) and painful to say the least. Since I had a second hub, G2H Pro, I moved my child devices to it so I'm up and running, but for how long? Unfortunately for me I'm down the rabbit hole and will have to work my way out. Good luck.

not the best idea to put the hub too close to a WiFi router as certain WiFi bands interfere with some zigbee channels reducing range and causing connection/reliability issues. 2+ meters min recommended
