My nephew liked his full size Tanfoglio Witness .45ACP so much that when his got stolen he bought another one. Exactly right, its a CZ75 copy. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It sucks when one's firearm gets stolen. I'm glad that he was able to find another, although I am sure that he wanted his own back in his hands.

@@RangeRoninChronicles Yes, his house got broken into while he was gone. Happens to folks far too often so make sure your house is secure or hardened enough to slow them down enough to deter them from breaking in easily. Time is not on their side and they don't like secure houses hardened against them to slow them down. Even if you can't afford an alarm system, make sure your house is hardened and secure. There are affordable ways to do that to your door and window access points that you can do yourself. There are many videos on the subject to show you how. This in addition to gun safes and hidden gun cabinets.

@@rbm6184 Good information, for sure. I have several security systems in place. However, more firearms are stolen from vehicles. In 2023, In the county where I live, firearms stolen from vehicles was 73%. Atlanta police say so far this year, more than 1,000 guns have been stolen from cars.
Secure them and don't advertise that you own firearms (NRA stickers, firearm-related stickers, etc.)

@@RangeRoninChronicles That is because folks don't lock their vehicle doors and are just asking for it. Keep your vehicle doors locked at all times when away from the vehicle and keep any arms out of sight. No advertising the fact either like you say.

Excellent little 45! Few years ago my local FFL got one as a trade, the gun shop owner called to take a look at it. After I checked it out he gave me a good deal on it because the gun had no magazines.
I was lucky and found magazines online, I also took the gun apart and polished all the internals and replaced the internal springs with lighter ones.
Gun turned out to be a smooth shooter but I really had a hard time with the front sight, I couldn't focus on that little thing. So I sent it out to Patriot Defense and they milled the slide for a red dot.
Now I can really enjoy that gun. I also changed the grips with some grippy LOK grips.
It is now an excellent carry piece.
    Thanks for another great presentation!

Another very well done video! Back in the early 90’s I picked up a EAA Witness compact that looks very similar to yours except it’s chambered in 40 S&W. Naturally with its CZ 75 heritage it’s been a very good performing pistol. Nice da/sa trigger.
That 45. cal. business end looks cool, nice looking pistol.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Unfortunately, Tanfoglio no longer produces this in .45 ACP, or even .40 S&W. I have not heard or read a plausible explanation as to why many manufacturers are opting for 9mm pistols only. Strange?

@@RangeRoninChronicles sales volume I would suppose. While I think the 40S&W and 45 ACP are wonderful cartridges, the great majority will opt for the 9mm

Great looking gun, love that large beaver tail….

Thanks for being with me again. I wish that my Bersa Compact UC Pro in .45 ACP had a beaver tail like this one. I still have the scars on my hand from the Bersa (and a few early 1911 pistols). Had I known about this one at the time, I would have bought it over the Bersa.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I agree. It would seem that CZ is in somewhat of a transition period now that they have acquired Colt. Luckily, I purchased a CZ97B before they went extinct. I do plan on holding on to it.

As soon as plastic fantastic came out I started sweeping up all the model 59's,5906's, Tangfolios, etc that were almost brand new into a large pile and was buying them for .50 on the dollar. Now 30 years later who's the fool?
