Made in Mexico is a better quality jacket that the ones made at Bangladesh, carhartt has been producing jackets in Mexico for many many years and even though Carhartt jackets should be made in the USA (as any real American icon should be) "mexican" Carhartts are excellent quality too. Btw, I just ordered the same jacket last night, hopefully mine is made in Mexico and no Bangladesh.

It's blanket lined not sherpa. Sherpa is more warm. This is jacket is for spring/summer. Sherpa is for fall/winter
