Great job so far! Did you know that applying Klean Strip Concrete and metal prep on bare metal wll prevent it from rusting for a good while and etches the metal to make the primer adhere better. This stuff is cheap too. A 1 gal is less than $20 at HD. I'm using it on my restomod project for rust and clean metal as well, is basically phosphoric acid. Great idea on the tunnel thing. I'm doing a 914 restomod and might do that too. I see you are a fan of Fitzee's Fabrications, me too! The guy is a master. Looking forward to the next videos!
High Five! Great video. That blaster is awesome, there was no mess! I tried some blasting outside for 30 seconds with a crappy harbor freight unit and it was a disaster!
Not sure if you are following but RetroPower RUclips channel is now doing a how/why series on how they repair and work on their projects… the resent welding and blasting videos might be worth a watch 👍 they make great cars as well.
I don’t get why you’re still below 20k subs. Your videos are well produced, you can speak in front of a camera and got an interesting project going on.
Super awesome work, but anyone else getting tripped out watching this one with the car 90° up? Lol, my head hurts. It wants to tilt to the side to see the car correctly....lol
Careful. Welding arc rays will go right through your eyelids. Better to at least wear some dark glasses or look away quickly. We all have welded w/o a helmet - don't get me wrong. Looking good.
Why don’t you take the hoses up the bulkhead and through the frunk? That way they are clear of everything including the inner arches , little more hose required but much tidier
I had to go look up "bulkhead" in a car- oh- the firewall- gotcha :-) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - I'm with Michal on this- those hoses would really clutter up the frunk- the way he's going with this is going to be sano....
@@rennch. hey Jeff , not sure if it’s a sore point but I have asked several times about Car Girl , what happened to the black Porsche and her channel ?

I admire your perseverance Michael. Two years into this build and some time to go yet. 👍
HooAh ! on working on Porsches !! Carry On Bro !! OUTSTANDING !!
Not the electric razor! Loool - I am super enjoying your videos man. Keep it up.
Just pushed a meeting to watch Rennch!
The recessed tunnel for the hoses is a brilliant solution. Looking forward to seeing this all primed and ready for undercoat!
You and me both bruv!
Love watching this !!!!!
Tremendous work 👍 love it 💜
That blaster is really amazing!
Loving the tunnel idea with all the hoses mounted properly with more room- great idea- looking forward to the next video where you tackle that!
Great progress, I dig the music on this one!
Yea, I loved both of those tunes!!
Michael, looking 🔥 man! Cheers 🍺 until the next video!
Great progress!!
This is getting exciting now, really enjoy your videos
Can't wait for the next episode 🤩
Just finished shooting it!
✋ So satisfying seeing the paint just "wash off" the bottom of the car.
You're not kidding. And it look literally 10 minutes.
Keep up the great work Michael! Love how you are doing the coolant lines. Anxious as always to see your next video.
Thanks Joe! 👍
Can't wait for new videos
Michael, you naughty boy 😁
Haircut looks good BTW. I can’t believe it’s been a year since the rear seat area happened. That’s gone quickly.
I know!!

Yes, I have gallons and gallons of it. :)

amazing stuff man
Thanks!
Looking good now Michael.
Patiently waiting to see this in that green paint as per your rendering.
Yea man...it's a cool color. Not quite like the rendering, but very cool nonetheless.
I had my undercarriage blasted once, it was in Vegas a few years back
great progress ,looks amazing
I agree!!

Thanks for the info!
Looks really good! Jealous of your set up!
Thanks Jan!
You are a true artist of the metal kind . What was the background tune around the 5 minute mark. Would like to download it for my bike.
I don’t get why you’re still below 20k subs. Your videos are well produced, you can speak in front of a camera and got an interesting project going on.
From your mouth to RUclips’s ears.
High five!
be sure to mock up with the master cylinder in place to check interference
Dual masters in the frunk. :)
Super awesome work, but anyone else getting tripped out watching this one with the car 90° up? Lol, my head hurts. It wants to tilt to the side to see the car correctly....lol
Is it worth dragging out and blasting the front fire wall, there is still some red and white paint there.
No, I'll quickly hit it with the sander when the time comes.
Nice work ! You could work out some of the dents in the floorboard while you‘re at it…
That is a two person job, but I am going to try.
Careful. Welding arc rays will go right through your eyelids. Better to at least wear some dark glasses or look away quickly. We all have welded w/o a helmet - don't get me wrong.

I kept banging it on the post. It was very brief! :)

too messy in the frunk. This is nice and clean.

So that razor was your idea of click bait? LOL ;-0
🤙👍
What kind of a water blaster is that? Where can I get one?
