I loved Bewitched...however the early shows of season 1 and 2 especially. Heartwarming and believable, just beautiful.
The first season is my favorite. It had a much more adult vibe than the rest of the series.
This episode has so much heart. Season One. The best.
Yes. The first two seasons were alot more heartfelt than comedy.
Try watching it in the old "Black & White". The 🎨 artistic nuances really come out. Especially in the 1st episode when they go to "Darrin's" old Girlfriends house "Sheila's" for Dinner. Try watching that in"Black & White" it's a scream/a laugh 😂😂 a minute.

They made a beautiful couple.
The pic of Samantha was a old photo of her taken, I believe at the turn of the century. Darrin saw it by accident in a antique shop and hid it in the closet where Samantha found it. That’s when he started questioning her real age.
Actually, it was a drawing of Sam from the colonial times. And it was Endora who placed it in a place so that Darrin would run into it and see it.

Those were good times for sure..
Love this episode. If we could only travel like Sam does, we wouldn't need cars, boats/ships, and the airlines. 😀 This is one of two episodes where Sam speaks in her own "language" when she calls her Mother. The other one is IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE when she freezes everyone in the restaurant.
I enjoyed the first few seasons with the first Darin played by Dick York they looked more like they were in Love.
It seemed like everyone just fit together.

Even William Asher the producer said that in an interview. He said you could really believe that Dick York’s Darrin was in love with Samantha while Dick Sargent wasn’t able to convey this.
