I like you hope the XR line is the equivalent of Milwaukees Fuel line up.
I’m a carpenter and use dewalt and the price point and durability have been excellent, I use the 60 V worm styled saw and it is a beast, love it. Would be interested if the 60 also gets rebranded.

Makita has had a tabless battery( 4040F )for almost a year and possibly a second (4025F )soon. OK, it's not in the USA yet, but that's beside the point . And milwaukee has a mx with tabless.
