Webflow not offering iDeal payments via Stripe here in the Netherlands is painful. It's frustrating to have spent time to learn and advocate their tech, but then not being listened to for years.
@@YouSuck921 basically their payment system isn’t accessible to people all around the world like Shopify Wix is also the same way all are good platforms but Shopify is ahead of them all in the e-commerce department as far as currencies and transactions to other countries but Webflow and WIX have better Website design than Shopify
yall have no idea what ur talking ab you can integrate literally any payment system you want into webflow. you can make webflow into anything you want with any open source code @@redhunnid5142
Shopify just doesn’t have the same customisable features that webflow has. Even making a custom header on shopify is an absolute nightmare, especially if you really want to show your brand with the website.
In such scenario where client needs a custom build website but they also want to make as shopify ecom store. Then where should we start? should we start with webflow Ecommerce and build a custom website and then integrate with shopify hosted with the webflow? Or should we start with Shopify Ecom templete? Can you make a video on the full process from start to end?
*Did I hear a single word on ecommerce tech . . . ?* Backend language and framework used? Performance? Third-party libraries or packages? User communities for support? Stability and reliability? Can I suggest a cheap alternative? Build your own web store and rent a VPS or cloud server for $5 - $30 a month.
That might be cheaper monetarily for a single person team with technical know-how. Is it cheaper in terms of time, especially if you're working with a team?

@@untilco I hope this response lasts on YT unlike the previous removed one. All backend techs (e.g. Java Spring, Node.js, Django, Flask, etc) have pre-built packages or even frameworks to do all the usual stuff involved in a web store backend. You'll see tutorials on backend building with all of these techs on YT or on the web generally.
Shopify is a no brainer for a simple store but when you have a big website (500 pages) with just as many products and need a custom site that isnt just a shop front.. webflow is the only way. I absolutely hate shopify's storefront builder because its so cookie cutter. I really wish i could easily intergrate shopify's ecommerce with webflow but the shopify buy buttons are finicky
is there a way to directly show your shopify page within an existing webflow site, which has its own URL. Idk if it makes a difference but in my case, the site is not hosted on webflow, but bluehost.

Very well laid out guys. I reallly enjoyed this video. I wish to see more videos on the e-commerace side of things with webflow & also integration with Shippo or Shipstation or anyothers. Would be nice to see a live functionality of webflows e-commerace. Again, great content!

Shopify is vlearly better.... The client cares about selling products... At the end of the day thats what really matters.. and Shopify blows webflow out of the eater for e-commerce

designing in shopify makes me want to tear my hair out, if these two platforms were able to have a baby it would be perfect
I don't know why Shopify doesn't allow to design more freely!
What part makes you want to tear your hair out?
Almost like Squarespace, if their 7.1 fluid engine wasn't so garbage.
@@dill06m Yeah by trying to make things more fluid Squarespace has made things more crappy.
The back and forth format is a good idea!
Agreed, been hoping for a long time some experts would make a vid in this exact format! I feel a lot more confident exploring both platforms now!

the checkout limitations of webflow make it really dangerous, you may lose a lot of orders with a bad checkout process
What are the limitations? I’m thinking of moving my online store from Shopify to Webflow

Is there a proven way to integrate shopify into webflow? All tutorials seem to be flawed.

Whats best to use for Blogging? Shopify or Webflow? I have a Webflow site that links to a Shopify Store.

Can you do a workshop for those of us who live in countries that cannot use Webflow e-commerce (Stripe doesn’t work everywhere😢)
noted!
You can use a Shopify button link that you can embed inside your Webflow page!
Great in depth comparison! :D
It was very interesting, thanks!
where to start to learn shopify but for clients not my own site ? do you have any paid assistance for that ?
So helpful, thank you!
You guys know if shopyflow is gonna happen ?
The sites in the links are either broken or give me malware/phishing warnings
How many of you found the links given on video descriptions and found webflow websites load much more faster than shopify's?
Fix the links!!! They are repeated
oops. fixed! thanks
thanks! i need the video
Have you heard of dukaan similar to shopify
Wordpress vs Webflow ?
yikes... Webflow no question.
I don't know how shopify being a huge company is relevant to be a pro for the end user
