@GalacticHypernova I suppose that first level, normal route was so challenging for some that the euphory of finally reaching first boss might have been overwhelming. However, Star Wolf, especially in fights where the ultimate objective wasn't "Shoot at them until they die", at least fluff-wise, made the fight more interesting. The dogfight mechanics as well. The only thing is, I wish there was an option for an even harder such level. Otherwise, a boss's a boss, and as bosses go, unless you have reason to be attached to it, first level first boss is pretty tasteless.
I did it to Peppy by flying into him in Area 6 on the Corridor mode when doing the speed run after destroying the 5 enemy missiles as Slippy is warning Fox, Slippy: “Incoming enemy missile!” After destroying all the missiles before hitting Fox, then Peppy is being pursuit by numerous missiles, and it is possible to fly into Peppy. Peppy: “There on me, I’m getting careless!”, second later, Peppy: “Watch where you’re flying!”, second later, Peppy: “What’s taking you so long Fox?”, second later, Peppy: “Sorry guys, I’ve got to sit this out!”, and then second later, Fox got KO’ed by the missiles, Falco: “No!!!!” It is common to fly into Peppy in Corridor or scrolling mode in Sector X, and Sector Y by taking the lower path, as well as All range mode, like Fichina, Bolse, Katina, Sector Z, and Venom II, via Area 6 on the hard path. I also flew into Peppy in Venom I on the corridor mode by following on the right when doing the speed run. Peppy: “I’ll take the right!”, second later, Peppy: “Watch where you’re flying!”

Let's say you take the warp from Sector X up onto Sector Z. Then you go through Area 6 aswell, so you only fight them at Venom.
@@RenegadeScooter It's like that on Expert mode. If you manage to get all 15 medals (which is an absolute fucking feat, I can tell you that) you unlock expert mode. In Expert Mode, your wings are literally like paper. One crash, and you've lost a wing. Enemies do double damage, aswell.
1st= Corenia, Metro, Katina, Sector X, Titania 2nd= Corenia, Sector Y, Aquas, Zoness, Sector Z, Bolse 3rd= Cornia, Metro, Fortuna, Solar, Macbeth, Area 6, Venom I thought you will play All Blue, All Yellow, and All Red route.

In Venom II via Area 6, I can score 228 points and get a medal and completed the game and watch the end credits roll. I do deserved it, but I do it in Normal Game Mode. Getting a medal in Venom II will unlock the Landmaster tank in Battle Mode.

Meteo Warp Zone has a significant amount of targets to actually GET the medal. Unless Zal was taking it slower and constantly charge shotting, Meteo Warp is much faster.
In katina if you don't lose a single ally of bills unit, you get a different dialogue. And sector x, if you were at katina, bills dialogue pretends you failed to save their base.
No it's not that, but when you pick expert mode it gives fox sunglasses for no explainable reason. just ask the developers they would tell you it perfectly
They should make a 100%+ category where it's this but you also have to get Venom from Bolse/Venom 1. The game does treat them as the same medal though. Okay Im just biased because I really like that stage. Still. Great run.
j88dragon Star Fox Zero Is Way Worse Than 64, They Can't Come Close To The Charm This Game Has, And If It Didn't Have Motion Controls, It Probably Would Be Easier To Speedrun.
I took the Sector X warp to end the stage faster, but once you beat the stage, you can change your course to the path with the easier prerequisites (in that case, Titania over Sector Z)
100% for this game means all collectable medals earned, and unfortunately, that means I only need to grab one of the Venom medals since those two medals aren't separate collectables.
Ugh, i mean, the graphics look nice, the gameplay looks decent. But the voices should be much better. The snes version had better sounding voices than this. And why are the mouths moving fifty trillion miles an hour, it looks silly and stupid.

At certain points, you'll go into first person view and look away from something like an explosion. Is that to reduce lag?
yeah explosions cause serious lag so turning away is quicker in first person and has a lower field of view which reduces lag alot
