Paul is giving the prestigious artist keynote speech, congrats Paul! #passion #livetowin This is the TRUE meaning what KISS means to me & for YOU The KISS ARMY.
I've heard Paul in a number of interviews and have been amazed at how well spoken, smart, inspirational and true to heart he is. Very well versed on many subjects.
@Flash......... and most Interviews are geared similar.to where Paul has his very well rehearsed answers. Think about it, he is familiar with the subject matter and has been able to practice in interviews leading up to the one that you saw. He wasn't all that great or sounding great in interviews in the '70's. Just Average stock answers
Wow, one of the all time speeches from Paul. He gives away the secret to success but who's really listening. This is a video to watch over a few times to soak it all in.
Whether you like what he is saying, or not, Paul is very well spoken. THAT is what I admire more than anything. KISS is a rags to riches story, and they tell that story well. In these days of excess, where most new bands don't last for more than an album or two, where most performers on the stage don't play their own instruments or music, KISS has stood the test of time. It cannot be denied that they have worked, hard, for everything that they have.
One of the finest Lead Singers-Frontman to ever Live!! Great Powerful Vocals & can literally hit ever note! No lip Syncing needed for this Guy, i have been a fan since 1975. I was 6 years old and Today im 49 & KISS is still entertaining me to this day. Many Thanks to my alltime favorite Singer-Rock God & all around good guy Mr. Paul Stanley!!! YOU RULE!!!!
As a KISS ARMY lifer since age 3 in 1976, my love and loyalty NEVER hs waivered and I thank God every day for Eric and Tommy, love and always support Bruce and Vinne and pray and keep the name and spirit of Eric Carr's name HOLY!! Listen to Paul. I can tell a few stories how KISS has helped me. My Mom (RIP 30 years ago today 11/30.89) got me into KISS. She wrote to Casablanca and Bill Aucoin and told them I was having a KISS themed 6 yr old birthday. S she sent KISS an invitation, she knew they could not come but wanted them to know. KISS sponsored my birthday party sending me things I could not believe, my parents were FLOORED as I was. THERE IS NO BAND LIKE KISS ,
Paul's message has always been positive, inspiring and empowering. And as Les said, he's also a great guy in person for those who have had a chance to meet him...
It's always interesting to hear from people that have made it big in the music business. Especially from the period he came along in . most people don't realize how big rock was back then , or how big KISS was .
Love this interview love music of kiss family and Friends are very important for every one 👍⚘☘love from the netherlands Marian thank you Paul stay healthy
I'm 42 and have been a KISS fan since the age of 7.. Paul stanley is the best. Over the top ,and now getting to know him more and more trough his book and all i can get me eyes and ears on weather its an interview or a magazine youtube . anyway this speech is damn great Paul Stanley '''' keep up the great work.
Such a true talent this man is.ive met him twice in my life always took time to treat me like an equal.kiss is my fav. band has been for all but 5 of my yrs on this planet.cant wait to hear the cover with ace.kiss is the reason i play music .
+V4EKKRINH4RT no it isn't. It's a band that got really lucky. They hit when teens were looking for something different. We all said the songs were stupid, but the show was great. Paul was born without an ear, he had a dysfunctional family, his childhood wasn't perfect, and the bastard blames Gene, Ace, Peter, you, me, and everybody else about his childhood memories. He said within 5 minutes that he swore to live like he wasn't a victim. That's ALL he talks about. He's a victim this and he's a victim that. They hit good the second time because my generation were middle aged and looking for a little nostalgia. We got it. They did 15 farewell tours? Be careful what you wish for.
+V4EKKRINH4RT I saw them in 76. I don't want to get into it with you. Really, just blowing off steam. Paul isn't right. It's the ARMY's band. It's funny, if you've ever seen the movie "Detroit Rock City" it's stupid, but factual in many ways. I have a cousin that was sent away to boarding school because my aunt kept finding his KISS albums. Anyway, the one thing I agree with you about is, I've seen KISS quite a few times, but NEVER without all four. I understand their aggravation with Peter and Ace. I didn't, until I saw the Tom Snyder show. My brother and I watched the first run and he said, "Gene is pissed" As kids, we knew that Gene was a former school teacher and we would giggle talking about how hilarious it would've been for Gene to go back, sponsor a PTA meeting with his "demon" outfit.
With all respect, you had to come up with something more than just luck in the decade where the best bands EVER were around. Zeppelin, Queen, should I even go on
Les Wadley: you're a very lucky guy for a having a chance to meet him in person. given the chance I would only want to request a video birthday greetings from Sir Paul Stanley for the special man in my life who is an avid fan of him and KISS. He's like a walking encyclopedia of info about sir Paul Stanley and KISS but never had the chance to meet his idol, Sir Paul Stanley.
Incredible! Paul Stanley is one of my all time favorite heroes, a true idol and huge influence, who I have really worshipped since I was eight or nine years old as I quickly became engulfed into my life worship of all things KISS and heavy metal! He one of the wisest rock idols, who time after time goes the extra mile with not only KISS, which is massive in and of itself, but in all projects he becomes involved in, and also is a wonderfully understanding speaker and is seemingly immortal and always infernally exciting musically and visually. I loved his book. I also happen to worship Gene Simmons as well as all KISS members past and present, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward, Tommy Clufetos, Coven/Jinx Dawson, Ronnie James Dio, Judas Priest, King Diamond, Slayer, Iron Maiden,Anthrax, and many more. I am a complete heavy metal freak. I spend hours of my life listening to all of these interviews and speeches..Of course underneath it all, the music is more important than everything else..
Thank you for sharing. I began playing the music for all these bands (especially kiss) on the drums when I was 13. I now have a RUclips channel where I fuse my life long knowledge of metal with blues and jazz. Please check it out.
I remember an interview with Paul years ago when KISS unmasked. He said something like "Well, with all of the bands putting on make-up we thought it was time to take ours off".
I have heard Paul Stanley narrate some chapters of his book and I have heard him speak in other venues and he speaks well. I could listen to him all day. His voice is intoxicating. He has a great voice for speaking and singing, he is smart and talented. They started from nothing but raw talent and developed an empire
I would agree with 90% of what Paul has stated. Having said that... What makes us all great is honesty and passion... If we all could take that away from what Paul stated and be mindful of our actions towards others then and only then we all could be better and feel proud in brotherhood.
I recently attended a “private” birthday party for a famous rock drummer. I walked into a room. Saw a bald guy and thought…he looks like he could be the lead singer of Disturbed and then walked out of the room. Turns out it was the lead singer but he warranted a mere glance. My point: When Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons walk into a room you KNOW. They know how to be rockstars. Yes to the old guard rockstars.
Paul Stanley has the perfect blend of seriousness, intelligence, comedic timing, one liners, humour and wit. His public speaking talents are just as impressive as his on stage talents. I put him right up there with Dr. Robert Ballard and Frank W. Abagnale. My top 3 favourite speakers.
I still have pictures of me as a kid in the 70s with "Paul makeup" on that my mom had applied! I loved them all of course...but he was always my favorite...the real heart and soul...and he just proved it (once again) here.
Paul, was AND IS humble with extreme care for me, you the fans. very very great man and of course BADASS❗❗❗ hell u ppl know that!! I luv KISS!!! peter & Ace, I miss..
I think Paul was the only member of Kiss that could have gone on to make it big on his own.....but he has rightfully said that he has enjoyed both moments not only as a member of kiss....but his solo work is just as equally as important...Peter Criss is my fav member of Kiss......Paul....is def by far my second Fav member of Kiss....his intelligence and his honesty has got him where he is....amazing bloke
Bridge all that great memories I had with kiss and I always loved what they said you wanted the best now you got it kiss I love that I really kind of lost touch with the band when I was a little older but now that I'm laid off from work I have a lot of time in my hand and I know this kiss was playing again I really respect the music of kiss my favorite artist was Ace freely cuz I'd like to lead guitarist but I have a lot of respect for Paul Stanley he's a great man Gene Simmons is a great musician he's freely as well but the heart of the band is Paul Stanley got the crowds fired up those were great great days
Paul & Gene have kept KISS alive. Ace is a drunk, and Peter is a bitchy pussy. Their ousting has nothing to the success of the band, either. Opposite. They had to go....
The pause for applause thing was funny and innocent enough the 1st time. Anymore after that and it becomes old and signals that Paul wants the approval.
