Cant tell you how my impression of Gene has changed, in a positive way, recently. Posts like this one show Gene to be a thoroughly decent, compassionate and really funny guy. Gene, I salute you sir! Long may you rock!!
True humanitarian, he sees rock stars in every day people. My name is Gene and my dad who’s name was Gene as well left us when I was four. He just past away in April 2020 at the age of 95. When I was around 30 years old, my dad came to me and asked for forgiveness which I did. I’m glad I did and we spoke for a while and he told me how proud he was of me for pulling myself up by my bootstraps in spite of him not being there. My mom, (who is my hero) was there to pick up the pieces and made certain we stayed in school. So mom and my estranged dad, at the time, in 1978 came to listen to my HS Salutatorian speech. So dad and fathers you don’t realize how valuable your words of encouragement, words of praise mean to your children. Don’t take fatherhood lightly, it is the most precious responsibility you will ever have in your life.
Just started listening and I was so taken aback when he said that we are the bosses! It's so true and modest of him to say it. I paid Kiss a minimal salary when they went to Buenos Aires!!!! I'm proud of my band!
Gene is a sweet man i too have cancer I would give anything to meet Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley i just lost my father to cancer I lost my sister younger than me to cancer I lost my mother to cancer in 2018 and i feel pretty depressed now
Ahhhh, YES!!! A museum is definitely something that needs to happen. Paul showed some of the costumes recently on a Facebook post. I said those need to be behind glass for the world to see along with other KISSTORY memorabilia. Any talk of where the museum may be located?
