I have seen Nightwish almost 40 times and with every show that i've been too I always leave with a big smile on my face and tears running down my cheeks because they have meant SOOOOO much in my life. Their music has pulled through so many difficult times the biggest part when i was very depressed and that it was soo bad that i didn't even wanted too be part of in this world but when i was listening too Nightwish for some reason they told me that i have sooo many things too offer in this world and that you are ALWAYS importantant and that i should NEVER EVER feel alone. THAT'S how much the music of Nightwish has been a big part in my life. So i wanna tell this too EVERYONE that feels alone: You should NEVER feel alone because you always matter and if you do feel that then PLEASE talk too someone who you can confide in whether it is your parents, uncle, cousin, grandmother/father your counsiler in school or therapist. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE AND YOU MATTER IN THIS WORLD
To be honest I envy you. You have the rest of Wacken 2013, Tampere 2015, Wembley 206, Buenos Aires 2018 and on and on, to go for the first time. Having said that, I will be going back to all of it and more for the rest of my life. Great reaction.
I love this song, always makes me smile. I can’t imagine how excited Floor was at this point, knowing she and the band had just hit a home run with this concert, and she had so obviously won over and undecided fans.
There are many times throughout this concert that you can see all of the emotions that Floor (and the whole band) have going on; the biggest is the pure joy that they feel, and how much fun they are having. I would guess that at the end they not only feel the joy and the love from the audience, but they also have the feeling of completing an amazing show in front of a gigantic audience (that obviously adores them), and they did it to perfection! No matter how many times they have performed (before or since), there is something magical about this performance, and I can see it in their eyes and on their faces how much it meant to them.
Her speeches make- and glue the whole concert together to one unique piece. I missed this enormously in the recent virtual concerts. Floor can't live without her audience. She's born to sing for the crowd. She loves them. She loves us. We love her. It all comes together...
Your absolutly right, Nightwish especially with Tuomas at the helm no matter if they are playing a festival or a smaller venue it's all about putting on a show for the fans and he never forgets that. The perfect example was the recent virtual shows Tuomas said he wasn't interested in doing an online show as he felt it just wasn't enough. It was only when someone came to him with the virtual show he got interested. He was asked if it was expensive and he said ridiculously, but that was the only way he was going to do it. That's why the fans are so passionate about the band.
You're right, they appreciate fans so much. But not only fans, in the final titles they are crediting BUS DRIVERS who worked with them during the tour. That tells so much about them IMO.
T fact that they supported CREWISH this cover songs by there CREW and Roadies who have been out of work due to the Kung Fu Flu, Crewwish is Nightwish cover songs that are in the style of other groups as chosen and performed by the stage crew to support them while no concerts were put on. They knocked it out of the park on the virtual shows, I saw them live many years earlier with Tarja but Floor is a far better singer, you feel the songs in your soul. I am now desparate for November to come around when I will see them with Floor in person and Troy who adds so much and even more now Marco has gone
I believe you have to go to Europe to experience the biggest shows from Nightwish. They cannot bring all effects with them to US - expensives, custom, etc etc. But still - even the smaller shows are impressive!!! Their main goal is to give the ultimate experience each time, so they always deliver

Floor fell ill the day before, and almost lost her voice. But, with the help of pills to quell the fever, and a fierce determination on Floor's part, they went ahead. Once Nightwish took the stage, Floor was boosted by the sheer energy of the crowd, ('Dr Theatre', as Troy called it!) and went on to put on one of the performances of which Floor is most proud. It is this attitude which has built up perhaps the most loyal fanbase of any bands currently performing. That, and the fact they are astonishing musicians, and have the genius that is Tuomas composing most of their masterpieces.

The live experience is really quite something. I've seen a lot a 'legends' many in their absolute prime but I've never felt anyhting like a NW gig until 2018. It's hard to explain, but the respect and energy from band to crowd and back is mutual and uplifting...the sheer talent on stage is mind blowing. This band is only band I've ever seen (I've seen an awful lot)..where you're puching the air and crying at the same time. There's nothing like it. Promise

They are amazing in concert. As you see more live videos you’ll see the Buenos Aires show. I was lucky enough to see them in Mexico City. I was maybe 30 feet from Floor, amazing seats and my wife even got a guitar pick. With no disrespect to anyone else, the fans in Latin America are among the best! The atmosphere at the show in Mexico City was fantastic. Thank you to my Mexican brothers and sisters in the Nightwish Army, you guys are awesome!
Jukka's favourite song Ryan, he gets to just beat seven bells out of the kit mostly playing pocket, he has once I think come back from his duties now effectively as the band's CEO to play just this song as a "guest" drummer, there's a fan video of it somewhere. You keep going chap, doing well and the content is highly informative and entertaining.

The moment you realize this song makes an epic ending to the legendary Wacken concert, only to be used as a cute little bridge to The Greatest Show On Earth during the Endless Forms Most Beautiful tour, the Decades tour and the Virtual shows. I miss Marco when he is without his goggles. 🤣 Although this version seems a little slower. There is a full Wacken concert on RUclips which is in correct speed. Someone screwed up and original Bluray Wacken was released with incorrect speed (slower) so some good soul decided to upload the version with the correct speed on RUclips. If you want to listen to the whole concert someday, make sure to find the right version to play.

I am a lucky one who saw and shot them eights days later then Wacken 2013 at M'era Luna Festival, also in the north of Germany. Much smaller (25.000 people) but nevertheless amazing as hell. That show was the last one of their world tour. And unfortunately the last one of Jukka. I saw and shot them zwoe ywars later again at the same place. In Bogata 2018 Floor had caught the dreaded "tour flu", was running a fever and couldn't even talk that morning. So she shoved a load of meds down her throat and got up on stage that evening. Wacken Open air is always sold out, one year in advance. Capacity is 80.000 ++ Remember, Wacken is outside of the city named Hamburg in Germany. Germans do not take safty and security easy. So the four times ive been to Wacken, it has been and outstanding festival. Everything is in order. No assholes, no fights, no safety issues. Just dead drunk Scandinavians everywhere and very polite metal friends having a blast. Its Heavy Metal heaven.
"Not a huge request, but it's no let-down!" There are no let downs with this band. You may like some songs more than others but I'd be willing to bet there won't be one you don't like. I was at Wacken 2013 :) it was the second time I saw Nightwish with Floor, seen them live with all 3 lead singers.
She dominates any stage. She sways her hips 6 inch, my stomach leaps 6 inch.

And this was the first concert as a full member of the band , Not bad for only being with them for 10 month's .
No it wasn't, at least not officially. She didn't become a member officially until Oct. 9th. A little over a year since her first show with the band.

@@RyanMear This is in no way a criticism of your video. You couldn't have known about the slowed versions of Wacken. They are unfortunately quite prevalent on RUclips.

I am a lucky one who saw and shot them eights days later then Wacken 2013 at M'era Luna Festival, also in the north of Germany.
Much smaller (25.000 people) but nevertheless amazing as hell. That show was the last one of their world tour. And unfortunately the last one of Jukka.
I saw and shot them zwoe ywars later again at the same place. Now I am waiting for the third go! :-)

Wacken Open air is always sold out, one year in advance. Capacity is 80.000 ++ Remember, Wacken is outside of the city named Hamburg in Germany. Germans do not take safty and security easy. So the four times ive been to Wacken, it has been and outstanding festival. Everything is in order. No assholes, no fights, no safety issues. Just dead drunk Scandinavians everywhere and very polite metal friends having a blast. Its Heavy Metal heaven.
