The retaining ring on the fuel pump still having paint on it says everything about how rust free you donor is. Great starting point. I'm using a Durango chassis for a project and I think the hardest part of removing the body is the electrical connections. They're all different and aren't always thrilled about coming apart. I'm preaching to the choir I'm sure.
When you are taking the exhaust bolts out, run the motor first if possible and let the bolts warm up.. Always works for me. Or put some heat on them...
You do some great work and explain everything to a T. How often do you do customer trucks because I would like to talk to you about a ‘49 Dodge Pilothouse I’m going to be going to get in a couple of days?
Turned out really good, can’t wait to see the next episode. If Ive leaned anything from my own build is that you save a lot of time using a rust free donor, that Durango worked real well for that. Don’t buy up all the windshields before I buy one haha 😂
I'm not a body man but looks to me like you are stretching he metal on that fender , once you get it back to somewhat shaped right it will be bigger than it was to began with!
I enjoy watching work on these older pickups!!!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!

Getting that broken bolt out was too easy, something is going to bite you in the a$s, before you are through!
