The rule of thumb is Flooring, insulation, wiring, plumbing, ceiling, walls and then furniture. Did I miss your design video? Welcome to Van life... I'll be posting our van conversion soon. Hopefully that will give you guys some ideas. I would personal pull out all that wood and start over. That's a lot of extra weight you may not have considered.

What kinda mileage does that van get? I’m wondering if the mileage changes after you get it built and loaded for a trip.
I have a Chevy express 2500 2007. I got it for $1500 my best friends father owned it. He died from the Covid lies. He went to the hospital after he hurt his back. They sent him home because he had a heart doctor and they refused to give him anything. The next day he could hardly move. The same ambulance picked him up. Last time we ever saw him. 6 month later we got a box. They claim he had Covid but that explained nothing and they cremated him so nobody can second guess their lie.
Anyway sorry my van is under construction just put a transmission in it $3000. I really want a high top but that can wait. My van has the 4.8 it’s been getting better then 20 miles per gallon.
My girl and our dog we’re getting ready to do another weekend trip.
I highly recommend making the passenger seat spin.
