1993 Finest refractors are pretty valuable, have you looked into them? Also, there is no Topps, it's Topps Tiffany which is entirely different than Topps regular issue.
I have to admit to you that I've watched hundreds of guys on these shows and you pal are the best by far. You are a PSA10 card show video and I'm taking a picture and sending you in for grading.
Since the time of this video coming out and watching it. I’ve dropped a lot of money into bonds rookies. All psa 9’s and 10’s. Mainly the topps traded and the Donruss 87. Those are now starting to get too high to buy anymore. There’s going to be a documentary about him and Sosa coming out soon. I’m sure Mcguire and griffey will be included.
good video, the 87 O-Pee-Chee is a tough card to find in a 10, I bought an entire bulk vendor case for 800.00 pulled like 22 Bonds cards and all were cut off center Lt to Rt. or Rt. to Lt. :(
I have a Barry Bonds Topps Tiffany card, and it's technically in perfect condition when it comes to the card art, the surface, corners, and stuff like that... but from storage, it has a slight bowing to it. And there's a black ink mark by the B's in his name that is built into the card, like there was something on the printer when they made it. So I doubt it will get a 10, but it's still nice to know that I have one of the good ones.
One day I need to get some of my Bonds cards graded. He was my favorite player and I have about 3000 of his cards. He was the only player I collected. Sadly I probably never kept any of the Johnny Ray error cards. Wasn’t worth much back in 87’.

Hey Matty, I think Barry deserves to get in the hall. Even on his stats, pre PEDs, is good enough to get him in. Hey was one of the best hitters I ever watched play the game. Great viddy mate! 👍
He the Home Run King! I've been a Barry Bonds fan as far back as I can remember. I think his cards are incredibly undervalued and feel strongly that he will get into the Hall of Fame. Is stats are non-comparable to any other player! He just crushed it at every angle. Thanks for the comment and the feedback!

Think I have most of these...time to do some checking...but mine isn't graded ...yet ! I took them straight from packs and put in notebook type holders. My hubby kept telling me the 90's would never be worth much...ha.. the joke may be on him. Loving your channel ! Do you have a recommend for were to get them (probably got thousands of cards) to auction? I just don't know how to sell on e-bay. etc. ! Take care and best wishes for a great "new year".
Thanks for the feedback! The only place to unload cards efficiently is through eBay. I would organize them into similar lots of either teams or players and sell them together like that. 90's cards need to be picked through with a fine tooth comb since the value is very limited to a few players from a limited number of sets. But, thats all part of the fun! Good luck! Check out my 90's baseball video or the junk wax era video to get an idea of what to look for. 👍
Wow, I did not know that Bonds had so many rookie cards. The 1986 cards are actually considered extended rookie cards (XRC), and the 1987 cards are the rookie cards (RC). I did not know that they produced later year cards, and considered those rookie cards. Also, certain oddball and special edition cards as well. Interesting.
These aren't all of his rookie cards lol. Only the '86 and '87 are. It's a list of his most valuable baseball cards including his rookies. I guess I made that a bit confusing. So just the '86 and '87 are labeled the actual rookies.
i just sold the fleer update, hottest stars, toyrus, 87 fleer and 86 fleer update for 30 bucks in nm. hope i dont regret it. Opc shouldve been #1 error cards are corny
What's up, Matt? I just bought that Bonds Donruss Opening Day a few days ago, with a bunch of Griffey Jr. cards. The Bonds has a small ding in the upper right corner. If I had known that, I probably wouldn't have bought it. But I guess that's ok. though. That's one less for me to buy. I only paid $12 for them all. If I saved my pennies for a while I'd get some of those higher priced ones. Have a good one, Matt Thanks for your hard work. Oh, yeah, I'm not sure when or if he'll get in The Hall of Fame, but, I'd like to see him there.
Hey Rod! Sounds like you got a good deal on the superstar lot. I love picking through flea markets, antique stores or older card shops and find Barry Bonds and Griffey rookies regardless of the condition! Nope, these are all sold on eBay for the most part. There are other auction houses such as Heritage Auctions, SCP Auctions, Memory Lane Inc, Mile High Card co, Robert Edward Auctions etc. But for the most part it's eBay. I show who the auction house that sold that card was after each card.

Im about to sell a bunch of baseball and sports cards to someone. I did a little research but don't want to be ripped off..I have kept some that I want to have graded and some I just want to further investigate and possibly sell myself.. but I have thousands of cards and its mind boggling. What do you suggest? Does it cost money to have them evaluated or appraised or is it worth it to get appraised. Im offered $500. Its so time consuming and I resell but this is not anything I am familiar with.
Dude, first of all, I have watched a ton of your videos on my PlayStation on the living room tv, I don't know if I have ever left a comment, but I love your channel. I actually got killer news, I sold a Judge auto this week for $2k, it's the 2017 topps update auto, print run of ten. I got a redemption in a break then sent it to psa, it came back as an error, topps printed off the wrong card to autograph, the pic is the front lean rail which is the series 1 sp and was inserted in the update series. The pic should have been the update series ssp bat on shoulder. That would make for a great story, I also have the complete rainbow to with it which includes the platinum 1 of 1. Also the only 2 that are serial numbered to Judges jersey or higher, got the gold #99/2017 and the vintage paper stock #99/99. Bonds made his Major League debut in May of 1986, which was a few months into the 1986 season. He had 4 rookie cards out in including the 1986 Donruss rookies, Fleer Update, Topps Traded and Topps Traded Tiffany which can all be considered XRC or PRC. In 1987 is when he got his first full season in which some consider his rookie year. There is no right or wrong way to look at it. Any early cards of a player are considered rookie cards.

I think he and Clemens will make it in. If he doesn't there will be too many fans upset that two of baseballs greatest players didn't get in. I think they are waiting till the very last year to induct them both. It'll be a long wait but by the time 2023 hits everyone will be on the Bonds gets in train! Just my opinion. I've been wrong many times before lol

Fans of all backgrounds think it's foolish they haven't been inducted yet. So, I'm feeling pretty confident he will. I know A LOT of fans will be very disapointed if they don't get in. Even if its with exactly 75% of the votes lol.

lol, it's not his rookie year. I think I may have misspoke and said rookie cards when it a list of his most valuable baseball cards. His rookie years are 1986 and 1987 only. Sorry about the confusion.

His cards have been picking up pretty steadily since early 2018. I've been buying his cards for as long as I can remember. The allegations are just that...allegations lol. He never failed a drug test or was proven to use the roids. He has a lot of current Hall of Famer's backing him up to get in so I feel strongly that he will. 👍

Oh yeah, man, they are super tough to find cut evenly on both sides. Some of the a just laughable at how uneven OPC cut them.
I bought a pack for 2 bucks the other day and this barry bonds card came out.

It's the first set with the refractor card technology so it's very popular. They were $20 a pack when they first came out. Yikes!

It doesn't matter what grade that card is in. It will fetch a big sales price regardless, simply due to its rarity 👍

Sorry I'm quite new to this hobby, but why are 87 topps Bonds also called a RC when there's 86 topps designs?
Are the 86 ones low print or something?
Bonds made his Major League debut in May of 1986, which was a few months into the 1986 season. He had 4 rookie cards out in including the 1986 Donruss rookies, Fleer Update, Topps Traded and Topps Traded Tiffany which can all be considered XRC or PRC. In 1987 is when he got his first full season in which some consider his rookie year. There is no right or wrong way to look at it. Any early cards of a player are considered rookie cards.

I think he and Clemens will make it in. If he doesn't there will be too many fans upset that two of baseballs greatest players didn't get in. I think they are waiting till the very last year to induct them both. It'll be a long wait but by the time 2023 hits everyone will be on the Bonds gets in train! Just my opinion. I've been wrong many times before lol

@@ermis33 They have support from both the younger generation and older from what I've collected. Go read the comments on Twitter accounts about the Bonds Clemens delay. Fans of all backgrounds think it's foolish they haven't been inducted yet. So, I'm feeling pretty confident he will. I know A LOT of fans will be very disapointed if they don't get in. Even if its with exactly 75% of the votes lol.

His cards have been picking up pretty steadily since early 2018. I've been buying his cards for as long as I can remember. The allegations are just that...allegations lol. He never failed a drug test or was proven to use the roids. He has a lot of current Hall of Famer's backing him up to get in so I feel strongly that he will. 👍
