Hello Tim. I'm heading to La Ventana in January where I plan to mainly continue my wing foil progression. I also wanted to ask a related question -- do you think this is a good place to do a downwinder with just a foil and a Foil Drive Assist PLUS system mounted to the board (no wing or kite) and practice catching the swell or chop while pumping as needed and then using Foil Drive Assist PLUS system when needed? Thanks for any input.
Hey H H - Yes - downwinders of any sort are great there. I'd say for pure wave structure - the gorge is superior for the downwinder but you can get there in LV. Start with a wing foil downwinder first to get comfortable with the area and the landscape. Super interested to hear how it goes. Best, The Half-Life Crew
