Nice video. As a resident of La Paz I might add that there are many authentic Mexican restaurants that are much less expensive than the places you showed. Visitors should know La Paz is a casual family oriented pueblo with a very welcoming vibe. Thanks for sharing La Paz!
@@omartheegreat We enjoy the more authentic economical places here in La Paz. A 'nice' sit down restaurant with good food, service and prices is Los Magueyes on Allende. Our regular places we enjoy include La Parrilla Norteña, Casa Jalisco, La Cocina de Maria and Tiguas 664. We find a more authentic food experience and more locals than tourists.
We drove to Cabo from La Paz to pick up a friend flying in. Driving in we saw all the litter. We didn't even stop for a drink. Picked up our friend and headed right back to LaPaz. The most beautiful magical place I have ever been blessed to see. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Carnitas Los Yñiguez is the BEST! The people there are lovely and their food is simple and delicious. Best carnitas in town, maybe the best on the planet!
I must say your videos are getting better and better. The editing is superb. I can see this series being the genesis of your channel blowing up. I look back on how you were shooting your videos in Cozumel and this latest trip and I can see a noticeable difference in shot selection, narration and general flow of the video. Good job.

Of course! We watched a few of your videos tonight actually! Loved your video in San Quintin. We spent a lot of time in La paz actually more than we ever planned. Lol
PS Balandra used to have 10-30 people a day. We’ve anchored there too. I’m glad it’s being protected now. There was some serious vandalism 20? years ago. I would highly recommend El Tesoro for an afternoon of drinks, food & water - it’s a bit closer to La Paz. You did such a fabulous job of showing the best of La Paz! But I don’t ever want to go on that ferry to Maz ever again.
@@EatSeeRV the toilets were plugged & overflowing by the morning - we had purchased a two bed “cabin” and the air didn’t work - it was stifling and they gave us a box fan. Another score on the video. Read about Tecolote, but thanks for the warning about theft out there. Looks like awesome park right in La Paz. Wishing you safe ferry to mainland Mexico!
Some awesome scenery. How about a movie and TV reference. The mating birds in the beginning…..We were watching birds in the park and they were married. At least the boat ride wasn’t a three hour tour.
@@EatSeeRV Yes, Gilligan’s Island was the three hour tour. We know how that ended. The movie reference was Office Space when Milton was talking about the squirrels outside of his office window. They were mating and he referred to them being married.
This looked like a blast! Been loving your channel and especially all your Mexico adventures. I was wondering if the RV park has accomodations for someone driving a smaller SUV with a roof-tent or just a stand alone tent? $$ for that?? I'm planning an Epic road-trip with my 2012 Kia Sorento and want to just slow travel throughout Central and South America. The hope is that gas savings and the lower upfront cost (for me) will pay for many AirBnb / Affordable (read not too fancy) hotel stays, as well as low-cost campsites along the way. Any tips for a newbie whose never driven farther south than Oregon/Northern Cal would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, and Cheers!...from North Vancouver
Sounds like an epic trip. We've found you will have to pay to camp most places regardless of your vessel aka tent vs RV or van. Don't expect a big discount either. But if you're a good negotiator maybe.
300US just to drive into Mexico in your car. Campsites are all expensive if you happen to find one because they aren't everywhere like in BC. You sound unprepared for the huge logistical trip you are planning. Wear and tear on your car will be massive. Roads (unless they are a paid toll highway) are crap and rough. If you break down good luck finding a mechanic which can fix your Kia. Parts will take days to get and they will charge you like crazy cause they know you have zero choice but to pay. You think you will save money driving down there? Think again. Better to fly to an AirBnB and rent a car to travel around.
@@DeeDeevanGogh Thanks for the input. Yes, I am unprepared at this point, for what is a huge logistical project. I could have been more clear -- saving money on gas and upfront costs versus buying and building out a van for the trip. Also Mx is just the beggining. I mean to slow travel all the way South as far as the roads go (Ushaia, Argentina). I also am aware that the Kia might not survive the whole trip as I want to make it - that has been true for many with "better suited" trucks, vans and other RVs, so I recognize that, and a plan B would involve flying to further points once I establish a "pseudo-base" where I get temporary residence somewhere like Ecuador, Mexico, Belize or Panama. Agree many of the roads are crap and the Sorento is barely even a "soft-roader" despite awd and locking diff etc. Probably, I'll be on toll highways in most places.
Going to ask you the toughest question you may have ever heard. Was it more cool on the whale trip 10 or so videos back, or the sea lions? I can't tell what you were most excited for. As always, excellent video and can't wait to see the next.
