If you play Pickleball and are looking for a paddle check out the NEW KoBo paddles by clicking on this link davek.kobopickleball.com/ which will take you to their website.
I have had the opportunity to try these paddles and have had the privilege of meeting and playing with the owner of KOBO and his wife who actually designed these paddles from the ground up and worked with a manufacturing plant to produce them. They are all in and committed to hitting the ground running and I am pretty darn certain you will be seeing these paddles across the country very very soon.
And in return if you click on the link above and happen to make a purchase, we will get a small reward which in turn will help our channel. Feel free to share that link with others.
At this point I will also be doing demo days at Pickleball courts as we travel. Hey we like the product and love the story of a small family-owned company starting a new journey and we hope you do to.

A simple comment really helps our channel. Even if you have nothing to say if you just say "This comment is for RUclips" it helps our channel more than you think. And simply hitting the thumbs up is another simple way to show support. Thanks everyone!!
This comment was simply for making RUclips and the ever vigilant algorithm happy 😊
Thank you!!
Thank you for a very clear and concise tutorial! wow! It's appreciated I've got an Engwe L20 2.0 and I need to lower the seat post on mine. Thanks again !!
I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching and taking time to leave a comment.
Thank you for this video. We are new to ebiking and know nothing about bikes in general, so I found the video really informative. The camera showing how each of the seatposts work was especially appreciated. Thank you.
You are certainly welcome, I'm happy you enjoyed and found some value in the video. And thank you for taking time to let me know, that means a lot.
I just ordered the Suntour NCX suspension seat post, should arrive in a few days! Interesting enough, watching the surroundings of where you were riding, it looks to be Palm Creek, in Arizona, as I just left there after our 3 month winter stay! If the Suntour works out, I'll order one for my wife's Radcity 5 Plus e-bike as well, although she says it's good without it, I can only imagine it has to be better with the suspension post! Thanks for the review and video, much appreciated! I may have seen you on one of the Wednesday afternoon e-bike rides!
Hey thats great, I'm sure you will enjoy it. And I'm sure you used our link to purchase the seat post so I also thank you for that. Ans yes, I think most of that video was shot at Palm Creek. In fact we just left there a few days ago ourselves.
This video helped me make an informed decision on bike post. I love that you recorded it while riding, thanks! 👍
Thats great to hear!!! Thats what it's all about so hearing this makes me happy. Thanks for stopping in.
These kinds of comparisons are always helpful I've been thinking about getting a post like you have. Thanks
Perfect, I'm happy that you found it useful. Thanks for stopping in.
Thanks so much for this great video about suspension seat posts. It has really helped a lot prior to purchase. Ride safe and thanks again from down in New Zealand.
Thanks Peter, you are certainly welcome and I'm happy to hear that it was helpful in some way. thats what I strive for. Have a great week and thanks for popping in.
I recently put a Suntour NCX seat post on my RadWagon 4. It has been an excellent addition to my bike. Now I ride it for pleasure, not just for function.
I'm very glad to hear that you like it, they are a great option for sure!! Thanks for sharing.
I never knew about products like them. Thank you.
You're welcome!!! Thanks for watching.
That was interesting to see the seat posts in action 👍
It was even sort of fun for me to watch on video!!!
I love the Suntour NCX seat post and highly recommend it. If you really want that added cushion in your rear, the cloud C9 and the Suntour NCX seat post is the way to go.
Greatly appreciated the video great views and information
Thank you for that, I'm happy to know it was helpful.
Great review ZZ TOP..
Hey thank you!!! And I will also take the ZZ Top comment as a compliment LOL!!
Nice action review, Dave!!! We need these for our Trek bikes lol!!! 👍
It certainly changes how a person feels about jumping on the bikes and riding thats for sure.
The Clearest review and footage of the Suntour suspension seatpost I’ve found 🍻. I came across your review this morning and became intrigued by your truck in the background. Understandable we don’t see many full sized pickups here in the UK 🇬🇧 so on further investigation I see you also have reviews of these large USA 🇺🇸 built trucks on the channel. Gonna like and subscribe make myself a cuppa tea 🫖 and indulge myself further. I’ll continue shopping for the seatpost later 😊.
Thanks Pawl, I'm glad you enjoyed the viseo AND that you found the truck interesting as well LOL! I hope you enjoyed that cup of tea AND the videos.
Good and simple.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks.
Master thank you so much for your video 🙏💐🌹👌🌺
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching.
I'm looking to get a new seat post and this was very helpful. Great beard by the way.
I'm glad the video was of some help, thats what it's all about. And thanks for the beard comment!!
I bought the Suntour and still wainting for it to arrive. Honestly from the reviews I'm super excited to make my rides more confortable!
I hope you are very happy with it when it arrives!!
@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707That’s funny, or not so funny, I’ve been waiting a month for mine to show up. That’s ok, it’ll be worth it when it gets here👍
Great video, exactly what I was looking for.. I might buy the suspension post first as my factoryVelo seat is mega comfortable. Its only on surprise potholes that i get any pain while riding.
GREAT!! I'm always happy to hear when a video of ours has helped someone in some way. Thanks !!
This video sold me on the Suntour. Down to $84 now too😊
Great, glad it could be of some help!!
I'm 5' 11" with a 32" inseam and a Lectric XP 2.0. The Zoom suspension seat post is significantly shorter than the OEM and I was unable to get adequate leg extension with the Zoom.
That is great info. Ebike, can go X miles...bottom cannot go half that. My first ride 22 miles....and I couldn't sit for a week. LOL. Checking out your seats for sure!
LOL,, very true. Our rears would not have lasted very long on the original seats that came with our rads but after the switch it's way better. With our last bikes it was not uncommon for us to do 30 to 50 mile rides and I can see doing that with this setup as well. The longest so far I think was just over 20 miles with these but we have some much longer rides already planned. Thanks for stopping in.
Nice views of post in action. I guess you can get another spring that bumps up the rider weight rating too. With 26x4 fat tires, a cheaper zoom post may be all some need.👍
Thanks and that's true.
Very good
Thanks Ron!!
I got a fat bike.. 4 inch tires..stock seat..built like a tank..but my ass gets sore just looking at it. I hit a curb and will pop out the locked battery ! Thanks for the comparo compadre.
Lol,,, if you have not already it sounds like a suspension seat post should be in your future.
If it was built like a tank, a locked battery should not be popping out…
@@jerryfritz1199 i agree, but if everything was perfect I would be dead someplace else. My ebike does A LOT of things right.
Nice
Thanks!!
Thanks for the video.
What setting did you end up with on the Suntour?
I'm about 200lbs as well and have one in the post.
TY
You are welcome!!
Was looking at Zoom but seen a lot of brackets breaking. And now looking at Suntour NCX
We have not had any issues as of yet with the zoom. Maybe it's a weight thing and Diane isn't very heavy. But I'm sure you would like the NCX
It was really informative to see the action on both of the seatposts. I've just put the Suntour seatpost on my GEN 3 STRIDE. I am probably going to order the softer spring, as I don't weigh much. I also have the Zoom-type post on my Diamondback Apex mountain bike. I'm 72 so I think my mountain bike days are in the rear view mirror. Thanks for the video, Dave. Good job. When you turned your handlebar post around didn't it change the geometry as far as steering goes? I was thinking of doing that.
Glad you enjoyed the video and it sounds like you have it figured out. I have a few years before I turn 72 and I KNOW the real mountain biking days are already over for me. Turning the bars didn't seem to change a lot except allowing me to sit up a bit more which is what I was after. If we didn't store our bikes in the basement of our RV I would consider the Jones H-loop but I just can't spare any space. Thanks for watching and the comment.
My wife only weights 100lbs., and as such, I'm wondering if the Suntour suspension post will do much for her. What did you find worked for you? Tnx. Andrew
So, here we are a few years down the track, I'm curious on a couple points. 1. Did you use an anti-seize compound on these seatposts to help mitigate the different metal types contacting over time? I know it's recommended to avoid Galvanic corrosion, aka bimetallic corrosion welding the seatpost in there?, and 2. Did the SunTour get noisy and need lube or other maintenance?
Nope, never did use any anti-seize compound and have not had any issues. And absolutely no noises with the SunTour and have never done any kind of lube or maintenance. All pretty trouble free. No regrets. Thanks for stopping in and asking.
I used to own the zoom, but quickly ended up returning it because the quality was terrible for me. ended up with the suntour and its been amazing. well worth the (now) 90 dollars.
Glad to hear you have a post that now fits you, it's a great one!
Great video. Just curious if you need both the suspension seat post AND springs on the actual seat itself? I'm looking to upgrade seat and post and just wondering if a regular seat without springs would suffice. Thanks 👍
For me I would much rather have the suspension seat pot and a seat without spri gs than the other way around.
Thank you so much,Dave, for your good, nice, informative video. It was really helpful for me and others to see and understand how these seat posts work. I was thinking to get the Zoom, but now also like the CNX. I am 178 pounds and need to make a decision. Do you have any latest update on the Zoom’s performance? Again, thank you so much for your time, effort, and good job!
You are certainly welcome and I'm glad when I hear the video has helped someone. Well in fact I have been working on a seat post update and should have it done soon but spoiler alert, you can't go wrong with either one I don't think.
Thank you, Dave!
Thanks for putting this video together. Those camera angles weren't easy. I appreciate the time you put into this and sharing with us. Does it feel weird with the Suntour for it to sit back when compressed compared to your wife's Zoom that just sits vertically downward? I'm worried with the Suntour, the handlebar reach would be too dramatic when the seat bottoms out and rests back as opposed to straight up and down.
I glad you enjoyed it and it could be of some help. s far as the Suntour feeling weird,, absolutely not and do not worry one bit about the distance from the bars changing with the action of the Suntour, you will not notice it at all. Have a great weekend.
Hey y’all! With adjusting the seat posts to satisfy your leg length, and looking at the handlebar structure, it appears to ‘me’ you’d have to do a lot of leaning forward putting more pressure on your back. Is this so? I like how YOUR seat post acts like a shock absorber of sorts! Does hers do the same? I never knew they made such technology for bicycle seats! 😂. It probably contributes largely to the cost of them these days! Thanks for sharing, Dave! ~Jim~
Your observation are pretty spot on. One thing I did is that I turned my handlebar bracket backwards and re mounted the bars which brought them closer to me and made for less bending. For Diane we didn't need to do that. If I feel I need to change more I have a adjustable handlebar bracket in mind that would make them a tad higher and pulled back OR I have a set of new bars sighted that have a curve to them which would really make a huge change. Baby steps, no need to do it all if not needed.
@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 >I know stuff! 😂😂😂
Thanks for the comparison I just got the zoom! Just because it look sleeker but want to try the NCX now! Which is your favorite?
I don't ride Dianes bike which has the Zoom post much but I think I would still have to say the NCX just because it seems to flex a bit more but that COULD be because I weigh more. Both are a huge improvement over what came with the bikes.
100 kg suntour for ever
I take it you are a fan LOL!!
Can I get a laid back post for my ebike? The tube is much bigger than a regular 20" frame. Any suggestions?
You know what, I'm not sure. Thats one question that might be better answered by one of the many "purely bike" type channels. I sure with I had that answer. Sorry
Thanks for the tips. Question: Did you transition from cruisers / fat bikes before the RAD's? I'm considering spending now hundreds on a bike(s).
You're welcome. The 6 years prior to these Rada we rode full sized Pedego cruisers. But we did change out the tires to something a little more aggressive on them but nothing crazy. We loved the Pedego's as well.
Ive got a German, Bosch, mid mount, 27 inch cruiser and a 26 inch 750w fat tire MTB. Im getting a folding 750w 20 inch fat tire as my next bike. That would be the perfect first choice bike, especially if you can afford one with rear suspension, to save buying a seat post. Much easier to transport, plenty of power, speed and comfort. If I could do it all again, Id have gone the folding 20 inch, especially for that ease of transport.
Did u upgrade to the suntour red spring since ur over 180lbs?
What are the posts like when they return to the top of their travel? Is the 'top-out' dampened as well? Tnx. Andrew
No dampening at the top end that I can tell but there certainly is no abrupt stop that I notice either.
I'm sure your Zoom post is installed backwards.
Well I don't think so but if it is it wasn't on purpose LOL!! But if it is it give my wife the just right distance from the handlebars. I will check it out however.
On the Suntour do you have the Standard Spring? I weigh 210. Would I have trouble with either post?
I weigh a bit more than you and I don't think I would have a issue with either post. There are links to each post in our disc. below the video that will take you right to the ones we bought.
@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 Thanks!
Nice video, helped me a lot. Given the difference in price, do you think the extra cash for the Suntour is worth it or does the Zoom performs just as good for 1/3 of the price?
Ya know, I would need tonswitch seat posts with my wife for a couple days and really see how it would work for me to answer that fully because she is like 115lbs and I'm like 225 or there about. I really like the Suntour with that said. That question just prompted a new video lol,,, thanks.
I got mine for $71 on Amazon, Victor.
Great informative video. Can you please give me the link for the Zoom seat post for your wife? When I go into your link it comes up the Suntour in both links.
Glad you enjoyed it!!! This should be the link for the seat post. amzn.to/3QJtGQH
@@daveanddianethrowingcautio5707 Yes I really enjoyed it...very informative especially with the demonstration!! And thank you so much for the correct post link!! I ordered the same seat as your wife also bc I have a tailbone issue and her seat has the cut out 😊
Perfect, glad I could help.
WHat type of rear camera display are you using?
It's a wired in Voyager system. 3 camera.
I'm sorry I was thinking RV. For the bike my main camera is a Osmo Action 3 but I also have the Osmo Action 1 and a GoPro 3 Black.
Is that zoom post on backwards?
Well I don't think so but if it is it wasn't on purpose LOL!! But if it is it give my wife the just right distance from the handlebars. I will check it out however.
Does it take to get accustomed to it Dave?
The smaller bikes or the seats and seat posts. The bike just a little but the seats and seat posts,,, nope. They are like putting on a good ol pair of jeans.
Need the exact model seat you have on you're bike.
I'm on my phone so don't have it handy BUT in the description under the video is a link to everythingI talked about in the video including my seat.
4:07 Diane: 🙄🙄🙄🙄
En dónde se consiguen ese tipo de postes, qué marca los fábrica??
En internet se puede conseguir?? Please!!
❄️🇲🇽🚴🎆💔🌄🤖
I bought ours on Amazon, there are links in the description of the video or they can be found in our Amazon store. Hope this helps.
Buy the cheap one for your wife. Real smart
She had the option.
Hi your wifes seatpost is the wrong way around bolts should be facing to the back
