Everyone in the comment section here talking about how she doesn't respect the hierarchy, but forgets that not only does the movie eventually prove her right, but that the chef himself is the one who asked her to join his team MULTIPLE times, even after this incident She barely even wanted to work for him, but did so even though his menu was bullshit. "Yes, chef" should only apply in the heat of service. Outside of that, your power trip does nothing to actually fix any of the issues and the entire movie is essentially about how that attitude is working against him.

I don’t mean to force anything on you, but reject lust and fake love; fear God and you will experience *real love*.
We must stay focused, brothers. We must stay focused.
Brothers, what have we done. look at us. look at what we've become. This isn't right. we're wasting time going on about girls and sus drawings that don't give a f*ck about us. What is the point of lust? Why do we do this? This doesn't fix our problems, doesn't make the stress and pain go away.
Also, cool story: the videos you see are actually people being manipulated and raped. It’s not what you think it is. It is NOT consensual. Imagine if that happened to your mother, sister, cousin, friend, girlfriend, wife, etc.
repent to God, friends. We must stay focused, brothers, on what really matters. I'm only 18, but I'm telling you, in the words of johnny cash, "sooner or later God will cut you down."

He is, to quote Skillet, "better than drugs." He is also *WAY* better than lust. love is greater than lust. Great performance for Bradley cooper all around
Everyone in the comment section here talking about how she doesn't respect the hierarchy, but forgets that not only does the movie eventually prove her right, but that the chef himself is the one who asked her to join his team MULTIPLE times, even after this incident
She barely even wanted to work for him, but did so even though his menu was bullshit.
"Yes, chef" should only apply in the heat of service. Outside of that, your power trip does nothing to actually fix any of the issues and the entire movie is essentially about how that attitude is working against him.
It's funny when the audience roots for the guy that the movie is trying to criticize. Some people want their own bad behavior validated
They're commenting on the clip, not the movie. No one is forgetting anything if they haven't seen it, even if they know the context, the content of the clip doesn't change.
@@rokudodamaza That's kinda why I commented the context.
If a bunch of people are going to ignorantly argue for fascist control of chefs in the kitchen, they should at least be arguing that from a place of know what the hell they're talking about.
Even excluding content, there is nothing in the clip to suggest that she had done anything wrong, only that the chef is an ill-tempered and aggressive dictator.
@@Stykzman100 So like have you ever worked in a kitchen? If so, was the chef in your kitchen nice? If so then I'll just shut up and admit I don't know anything about kitchens anymore, not that I like working in one. I hope you're at least self aware to realise how much of a minority you are in to argue that someone should judge that chef character based on his character and not the clip that which is the only context they see, to others that lady might as well be an evil thing that just wasted the chefs time in a busy workplace, people won't care whether she became god or died right after that clip ended, extreme example but majority opinions are a losing battle to ever argue against
@@rokudodamaza Actually working on getting my red seal in cooking, so yeah, I've worked in a lot of kitchens and in my experience, chefs who act like this are never as efficient as they think they are. They always miss so much shit because their ego gets in the way.
