Great video. I was hoping you had a follow up video because I am looking for a similar doorbell that can be installed with the 2 wires like yourself. The other end would be connected to a transformer and mechanical chime. How did it go? Were you able tonconnect it this way? Thanks!
Hi, Thanks for watching and commenting. Unfortunately, I never connected the doorbell. I purchased the doorbell for its security features and had plans to connect it to a small HIK screen that I saw hooked up in a few videos. I was unable to find an installer with enough knowledge to hook the system up. The one installer I located would only hook up the system if I purchased the equipment from him. Sorry I can’t be more help and thanks for watching.
Hi, Thanks for watching and commenting. I honestly don’t have the technical ability to change wiring. I know it’s sad and probably not too hard. I stay away from even simple electrical and plumbing stuff. Leave it to the professionals. We only see the DIY went well stories, not the I had to pay s professional after I screwed up stories. I can remove a wall, but I stick to my wheelhouse.

@radioflashinfo I understand. Thank you for the honesty. Which doorbell did you go with in the end?
Why didnt you wire it with a cat 5 with POE?

@@radioflashinfo Well if you buy a PoE enabled switch. then its as easy as plugging the cable into the camera and switch.
Can you connect a doorbell chime to it?
A chime can be connected to any hard wired doorbell. I’m not sure about a wireless chime. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Useless
