Pagani slowly gets better, but now is the hard part for them to convince everyone that their worth the extra money, nice one man and the sound of the video is like old days, cheers👍👍
Great review James! Disappointing to see they’ve not matched the lume on the hands and indices, and the short hands. These were the same issues I had with their older model, so there’s really no reason why they didn’t fix them for this model. Everything else about this watch looks excellent though.
I totally agree. No deal breaker, though. Being a watch/lume pig, I do enjoy watches without lume. I want my watches to have the best lume. I'll change the hands and dial. Sometimes, you make your watch for yourself. I think it was hard to get bigger hands. Black bgw9. Its a good enough watch. No shame just version 2 and 3. I bet this is my next watch
The relative size of the hour hand is not all that different from what they used for the 1661 just a couple of years ago. On a black dial it was less obvious. Good review.
I was waiting for this one, but with that price increase, I think I will get new Steeldive Pepsi GMT. A bit more but lume is probably stronger and looks like red ceramic bezel.
Thanks for the review. I have recently ordered the PD1762 NH34 (eagerly awaiting delivery) it would be a simple and inexpensive improvement for PD to make the hour hand a wee bit longer.
@@S7s55 I'm glad the review was helpful. I'm sure you'll be happy with the watch, once it arrives. Especially now that they've improved the lume too. Looking at the listing now, it seems they have made the hour hand a little longer as well.
Great review James, I really like that. Saw another review of the same watch and the clasp was completely different to yours, the one u have is much better.
Another fine review my friend Sorry to say with my luck and Pagani watches just don't click It is nice to see them improving slightly The QC issues keep me from pulling the trigger Be well my friend and Thanks for sharing 👍
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I sure have had bad luck 1st time the movement failed after about a month then I got the BB homage and straight out of the box the movement didn't hand wind it was a ghost wind position lol I still wear it occasionally just have to shake it a bit and the last purchase the watch failed shortly after swimming and yes the crown was secured So you can see why I hesitate to trust them No problems with any of my other Aliexpres watches Thanks for your great content Be well my friend
I like it a lot, and I do like Pagani design, but I'm not spending more than $100 on a Pagani. Soon, the nh34 will be seen like the nh35. NH35 is better than the Miyota 8215 but not close to the 9000 series. So, one step above bare minimum.
over €200 for a pagani is just too much. I'd rather go for the Steeldive GMT which is cheaper and probably will be better built with better lume, or the SM BB pro which is not a whole lot more while being far better. During a big sale when the price drops to €150 or lower, maybe. But atm it's just not for the money imo
I’m trying to convince my wife that this is the last watch I need for my collection. The watch it is based on is cool as f***and so is this. This one I can afford though.
I'm sorry to hear that. If you bought it from AliExpress, then I recommend opening a dispute straight away with AliExpress, and don't bother contacting the seller. I've only ever had to use it on a handful of occasions, but when I have they've always sorted things out very quickly and effectively. Be that, partial refund and keep it, or full refund and return... Which they pay for.
I’m a huge fan of the Explorer II. I just don’t have huge amounts of money to spend. This will be my next watch. Thanks for the review.

Nice to see Pagani Design improving with each release. I see why they have a lot of fans. Nice review.
Cheers!
They are improving, slowly. Thanks.

Yeah absolutely. Thanks mate. I went back to my old mic again.
yeah, this is almost the same price as the san martin bb pro

Cheers. The lume is slightly better than the previous version, as it's actually BGW9 now. But they just need more of it.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Definitely! I just don't like the mismatched lume colour, with the grey on the indices and white on the hands.
Thanks for the vid! Had to pull the trigger during the anniversary sale. Excited for my first GMT.
Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy it once it arrives.

I could definitely make a base to mod from. You'll have to let me know how you get on, if you do end up doing that.
I just ordered the new San Martin homage to the Tudor Pro GMT cuz i wanted an NH354 watch.. Wish I had seen this first. 🙁
... don't you worry, SM is superior quality, you will not be disappointed ... 👍🏻

Yeah I'm sure the lume in the Steeldive will be better. That's something Island Design still needs to work on a bit more.
I like the introduction of NH34 with Pagani with this model as well as with for example the pepsi-homage.
I will give Pagani a chance.
It's a really good upgrade. They just need work on the lume still though.
I've owned a number of Pagani Design watches. It's good to hear their lume has gotten better. Good review mate!
Yeah they're getting there slowly. Thanks for watching 👍
I saw another review where someone said that this would be an amazing summer watch on an orange strap to match the GMT hand.
That would be a nice combo.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR... maybe silicone instead of a NATO.
Interesting to see if they reissue the Steve McQueen with the NH34 and updated Lum.
Orange strap. I think you’re on to something there. I’ll add this to my cart and think about it.
@@CanadianBeachcomber Don't wait too long though, as the sale ends soon remember.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Thanks for the reminder. I just spent $300 on a Vanbanner so I’m going to miss this sale. Cheers

Definitely the new nh34 one James. Weird that it's different
@@gs8287 That is odd then. Was it the older version clasp with the microadjust on the inside?
No just the fold over milled clasp,no security latch. They use it on alot of their models
@@gs8287 I know which one you mean.
I have this in the older version with the shitty lume.
Its a lovely watch though and a strap monster.
Great watch all around
I'm glad you're enjoying yours.
The v4 came today. Perfect....40mm case, bigger hands, AR, nh34, and IT IS +2s/day right now...amazing.
Nice 👍
Do you have a link to it? Cant seem to find the v4 anywhere.

Isn't this a explorer ii copy?
ssshhh
It's an homage of that, yeah.
Why pay Rolex $12,000 for this watch? I know it is better, but like how much better? Not $11,875k better!
Yeah I'd personally never pay that kind of money for any watch. I'd rather get an homage and spend the rest on a holiday or something instead.
Why the heck still put their name brand as logo ? Just make a pd logo or a sign
It would definitely look cleaner with just the logo. That's always my preference.
Yes

Pretty much the same as a Rolex Exlplorer 2.
Yeah they did a good job didn't they?
Endlink gaps are bad.
There is a little bit of a gap. But you don't really notice it when you're wearing it though.
Got my PD1762 today. Very faint lume on hands and zero lume on dial. What a joke. Returning or refund.
Yeah they really aren't great at lume.

Over €1000 for a Pagani ???? Are you mad ?????
Where are you getting that price from? It's under €200 using the link in the description.
A favorite ! Easy to read.
