It’s not a ripoff. Spending $10,000+ on a WATCH is a ripoff.
Only someone who can’t afford the real thing would say that. This is a cheap knockoff, nothing more. Anyone buying one wants the real thing but can only dream to own a fine Swiss timepiece.

A watch costing 1000 times more than a Pagani will not provide 1000 times the satisfaction. It's the law of diminishing returns.
If I had the money for a Rolex, I would NOT buy one, but maybe a Carl F. Bucherer.
Now that's an interesting watch which may justify it's price by simply being original and interesting.
The only Rolex that fits that description and, therefore, is worth the price tag, is the Sky-Dweller.
All the rest are marketing and relying on rich people with big egos and poor judgment.
I've got a Pagani PD-1639 Submariner homage, I don't have any frame of reference either, but wore it on a cruise, got lots of comments, one guy was actually shocked at how nice and close to his rolex it was. Wore it in the pool, in the ocean, keeps great time, and it was $75, No complaints here. Glad you gave the Pagani another try!
- Pagani can sign the crown of a $120 watch but Seiko can’t bother to do it on a $1,300 watch. But Seiko does provide a misaligned bezel at no extra charge.

And Pagani can put a real sapphire crystal on it while the seiko is hardlex. I really don't like my seiko, treat it like a beater watch cuz thats how it looks.
Thats exactly why i stopped buying seiko like 2 years ago. Just doesn’t worth the price anymore, also they are increasing the price

Hi, not an NH34 in that. It is the Chinese movement Pearl DG5833GMT.
Not in the newer releases. Got one with an NH
Newer releases are NH35A

Looks like the 5833 version is the $125 range while the Seiko goes for $250.

This movement is definitely not an NH34. It's most likely a DG Mingzhou.
Got one - a Pepsi - and it is definitively a TMI NH34. It used to be a Chinese movement in earlier releases, but the upgraded to an NH movement.
Yup, the first one was a "pearl" Chinese movement. Runs fine. So far.😅

Pagani can put out nice pieces, and for even crazier prices. I just got my first (2), each for less than $55. How? One has an NH35, the other a mechaquartz. They are both very very nice. Granted it’s two of their nicer offerings. $55 is difficult for me to grasp. I’m considering just buying them for friends. One has that same clasp, which isn’t great, but it’s robust as heck. I use the diver extension when I’ve swelled from coffee intake. It works. Did I mention they were $55? Somebody somewhere is comparing their Rolex or AP to a Pagani (ok probably not), and they’re pissed off.
Always nice to see a reasonably priced homage. Just looked at a Steeldive Seiko Willard homage for $140. Thanks for sharing this option with us all. I would also like a watch to have reasonable time keeping accuracy along with lining up. I must say it don't like your button sound effects. 😂 I do like the Pagani and Addiesdive ranges of homages, but their timekeeping is a little off.
You have the older Pearl movement version. The Nh34 version is better and the qc issues on dial mentioned are gone.
I own five of these GMTs, all with the Pearl movement. All work perfectly and I’ve swam with all of them. I also own a few with the NH34….also fantastic so far! I love these watches!
Sure own one my self mine is the chinese pearl movement $60 Ali Express sale no issues came with the screw driver & plus a Nato Strap a win win.
Sorry to say this, but that movement is an chinese GMT movement, not an NH34... The NH34 is very similar looking with the NH35... But PD has that same watch with the NH34 arround $150+
I have the Pagani Rolex explorer homage and it keeps incredible time . I set it against my Apple Watch and after a month it only gained like 25 seconds . I can’t believe the accuracy.

These Pagani watches are interesting. I just bought the Rootbeer model because I already have a Pepsi Casio Duro. I'm excited to see it in person. My only critique (having not seem them in person) is that their logo looks kinda tacky and the bezel colors look a little too vibrant. I like flashy colors but in this case I think it looks the slightest bit cheap. Obviously not enough to stop me from buying one myself.
Funny you mentioned the Addies watch. I'm planning on getting the Addies quart's dive watch, and filling it with oil to test it out. Does yours have the quartz movement?
I love building custom Seiko's using real NH34s for this reason. You can build a sealed diver with ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, screw down crown / caseback and using 904L stainless steel for only ~$300.
I think you’re very unlucky with Pagani. First time I see the watch comes unwrap. If you bought the watch thing that was a NH34 they send you the wrong one. This one is the previous model with the Chinese movement DG Pearl.
And next time if you want a nh34 from Pagani, get the Batman color it comes with ceramic bezel with lume on it.
I bought the exact same watch today for $71 for the price I thought I'd take a gamble on the QC and 'exotic' movement! lol Mine arrived today and I can't fault it, maybe I got lucky. Mine also has the Pearl movement not an NH34.
I've got the root beer variant...it randomly stopped working one day...six months later, it starts working again, flawlessly...go figure
That's not an NH34, by the look of it. Rotor weight is a dead giveaway. That's the Chinese movement version, the DZ.

I bought the Pagani Gmt wit the coke colors bezel. It looks amazing. Also on a bleu Nato strap. I went diving with it. No problems detected. It is super accurate. One of the better automatic watches I have in my collection .
I was never a fan of PD but was gifted one and now I wear it basically everyday. The quality is miles above watches that are similarly priced and the lume is way better than most of my more expensive watches. Needles to say it's now my second favorite watch that I own.

Bro.. you got robbed on the price. Pagani, from the actual manufacture Ali store.. are much better made. Start buying them from the actual store and you will find much better builds.. PD, you really cannot go wrong! If you're talking about a rip off it's $10,000 for a dive watch that a $700 Seiko diver can outdo! Rolex can eat a BODs ...

Facts. I just bought one for $70au ($40us?) On sale, not gonna complain, actually I love it, and the other 2 pagani I own are just as nice.
It's not a diver extension it is for afternoon swelling and I actually use it all summer

It's just a watch, it tells the time, who really cares if it's a replics/homage piece. It's just a worldly possession. Whether real or not who really cares. As long as the buyers happy that's all that matters.
Well it looks good in the pictures. I like a touch of color on a watch so I have my own Pepsi, but it is a 42mm Steinhart.
Not worth it with the DG Mingzhou movement in there now that the Seiko NH34 is on the market. I reviewed this one previously but sold it after the NH34s hit the market and can get a better homage with it in there for very close to the same price. The pointy clasp is also quite annoying.
I own a Pagani, but the date adjustment stopped working after two months. Can turn the crown to set the time, but the date adjustment doesn't work anymore. Shame, because it's a perfect "homage" otherwise.
Did you ever adjust the date between 9 and 3 o'clock (21:00hrs to 03:00hrs)? That breaks the gears on many calibres, something that is sadly not advertised well enough in manuals with their usual too small to read texts!
I have 2 Pagani design GMT models and very happy works good on time they are rolex models and very hot watches

i hope you ordererd the one with the seiko movement the chinese movement sucks. saw those need servicing right out of the box. they're not lubricated well that's why they need servicing right away. movements gets stuck within a few months.
I don't understand the point of a cyclops. Is the date the most important bit of info when you look at your watch?
Hans Wilsdorf's wife had vision problems and couldn't see the date on the Rolex watches. Mr. Wilsdorf designed the watch with a cyclops so she could read it. The cyclops became a Rolex icon.
The older you get the more you'll appreciate a cyclops! lol
First off, great vid. I would say though, the cuts to the buttons and to your reactions can feel a bit jarring. You'd comment on a feature of the watch and then almost immediately cut to the button. Button gag is great! But some more time to see the comments youre making would be nice!
The qc from one pagani to another is so bad that each watch has to be evaluated individually! Not worth the trouble except at 50$ or less, aka, less than an Invicta on clearance.

I like automatic watches but G-Shock GST-B400 is my favourite watch. The design of the case , the indices, the functionality and the quality is great. Take a look at that watch who knows you may fall in love

Lugs are too long and straight. Better to build your own. Some great aftermarket parts suppliers about, and you'll get watchmaking practice
