- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
Those Gen. IV Vortecs have such a nice sound to them.
I am a Ford guy, but no one makes a nicer SUV than GM! Damn! That's a nice truck! That truck will tow fairly decently as well. My 1996 2 dr. Tahoe Sport with the 5.7 & 3.73 gears and will pull a car and trailer at 80 mph all day long!
I'd actually say the new Jeep Wagoneer is my favorite out of all of them.

@@abdusinc2557 Its AMAZING!!! Drove it from Memphis,tn to Texas. Rides like a dream. The seats are comfortable,The 4 wheel drive comes in hand off road. It has the economy fuel (sorry not very good with mechanical things) and I only spent $266 on fuel going to and from Texas. The third row is really not for adults over 5'5 tall.Has plenty of room. The air and heat are beyond blasting.Hardly had any mechanical problems. My husband has the 04 LT and will be keeping it and purchasing another the same exact year similar to mine. The SUVs are dreams seriously.

Majestic Momma That’s good to hear! I’ve been looking at other SUV’s of the same era such as the Sequoia, Armada and Expedition, but so far I’m leaning towards the Tahoe. My little sedan just isn’t doing it for me anymore. I also plan on doing several cross country road trips with my family so I need all the space and the comfort. You just persuaded me even more into getting a Tahoe!

I have a 2008. I love it.
The Tahoe's/Yukon's began to suck after the year 2000. I like the ones from the 1990's. They look like real Chevy and GMC compared to what they make now! But still, GM has some of America's best engines, and build a lot of reliable vehicles!
Izza__Teee you’re right! If you drive them well they can last for decades. I know a guy with a 98 Tahoe and it’s still running. My dad had a suburban with over 200K miles. I had my 06 Tahoe till this year and it got stolen unfortunately. It had 175k miles on it and only had 2 major problems with it. The vacuum and the CV axels. I miss it, but now I have my eyes on a 2019 or 2011.

its the LTZ model now, but they are pretty much the same as the Z71
The Camaro and Equinox, among other Chevies are built in Oshawa, Canada. The Cruze and the Corvette are made in the US of A. Just like the Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe are built in GM's Arlington, Texas plant. 00.50 Pause the video. See that sticker? It's the seal from the Arlington plant. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
I wish Ford offered the Fx4 package with the ford expedition like chevy does with the tahoe

Lynx is the highest trim line the tahoe offers. Z71 is simply an off road package you have the option of adding....

i know. i was looking at them but i wanted everything inside and the chrome package so for the price i ordered a gmc yukon xl slt for a little less

I compleatley agree with you there, you hardly ever see any 05 or older vehicles out on the road anymore. Most vehicles today are like cellphones use them for two or three years throw them away and buy a new one. They don't last like they should.
I don't know what most people are talking on about on here, But would you recommend this car for a growing family??? It seems perfect for us!!!

@cibo for most cars pressing the remote button once just opens the drivers door, the other press is to open the rest of the car.

Its reliable. This was on Consumer Reviews and the SUV was rated 9.5 out of 10. That's great and if you don't think it is, then you are not very smart.

When did Chevy make a 5.7L engine?? They only have 5.3L and the older models have optional 6.0L the new ones have that 6.2 L for Denali and GMC higher trims.

@TheSaikou96 when you turn on the car the headlights will automatically turn on. When you turn off the car, the headlights automatically turn off.
Why I cars fitted with remote start??
Maybe you get up one very cold winter morning, its Snowing/Raining, and u want your truck to be heated up when u leave

@HomeBoyTellEm28 We were getting 23 mpg pulling a pop up trailer. When you're cruising, 4 of the 8 cylinders deactivate so you actually get good gas milage for a big SUV.
