- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
These Tahoes still look great to this day.
I have a 2008 and still in great shape. Just needs a bit of a paint job and it’ll be as good as new!

CariT's Reality You're so lucky. I have a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, I paid $20,000 for but I want a Tahoe. Should I try and get a 2008? (my income isn't really good now I'm living on myself, and not my parents).

i have the same tahoe and i love it i keep my tahoe forever
The only bad thing about these Tahoe's is that you burn about a quart to a quart and a half of oil in between oil changes... But hell, the newer ones burn about half of the entire oil capacity in between oil changes... Tahoes and Suburbans before 2014 are better than the current ones... And these 5.3 V8's are damn near bulletproof

Kyle, thank you for this review of the 2008 Tahoe. I hope I can get one someday to replace my 2003 Grand Marquis with electrical problems that will not start 85% of the time. But I am retired which makes that tolerable.

Yes, it is very common to see these 90 Tahoes with over 250k mileage on original engine and drivetrain.
Amazing, also they seem to have the most interior volume and more comfortable seating from what I've noticed.
I hade a Tahoe LT last year and switched to a fully loaded Pathfinder V8 LE and its fast but should only have two row seating and the ride (suspension and handling) is horrible compared to the Tahoe so today I bought a 2007 Tahoe LTZ and I love it it has all the features as this one in the video and I'm gonna drive to myrtle with the family in it next week and mine is defiantly not a girls car and I think American cars are built better. But that's all my opinion don't hate on me for expressing
I love SUVs especially body on frame/ truck based SUVs, like the ones form GM like Tahoes, I also like the Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition, and Nissan Armada

Nice vid Kyle! We have an '08 Yukon XL SLT and it has every feature but the fold out running boards.
I test drove both a chevy trailblazer ext 2005 and a suburban 2009 and the trailblazer I personally is smaller the suburban was huge! I think the trailblazer is a hotter looking vehicle, and the doors are quieter when they slam shut.
Thats a nice truck partner, very very nice truck, I, wanted for a 2005 suburban, because, its my favorite model, but, this truck are very beatiful
I now, a had a 95 Cutlass Ciera, and a 98 Chevrolet Blazer,when i had the money, i buy mi own Suburban,thats trucks are incredible

@chorstma44 but the tahoe LTZ did not come with the 6.0 liter engine, like the yukon denali.
Perhaps swap with a Chevy Nascar engine removing restrictors and changing the transmission to either a paddle or racing shifter. I love them speedy.

Does anyone know what exhaust system GM uses for their current generation vehicles? I cannot get over just how amazing and powerful those pipes sound.

@RangaHaTimamanGoyum- Depending on what engine you get. If you get the 5.3L, you get about 16-19. If you get the 6.2L, you will be getting about 13ish.

Sorry don’t own one but done lots of research. These commonly go to 200,000 miles and have very minor problems if any. Just gotta keep them up and they’ll do the rest.

The stock exhaust sound is quite the contrast to the 2014+ Tahoe. Those are virtually silent. Like wtf Chevy? lol

I don't need to be told that is a 5.3 V8.....my grandfather has a 2006 Sierra SLE and a 2005 Yukon SLE, and they have the 5.3 and it sounds exactly the same upon startup.
