  • Took a Quick trip to Carters Lake one eve in December, the first one that hit was prob one of the biggest I have hooked up on and I have caught a bunch of them, it was heavy at least for the short period I had it on. It actually broke the wire leader off the umbrella rig. And it also could have been a 15 pounder that just thought he was 30 pounds lol. Who knows it was fun though and got me excited! Thanks for watching.

If you do not get hung up, you most likely not catch anything.

Creepiest lake I’ve ever seen, it is 450 ft deep at it’s deepest point; lake Lanier is only 160 ft lol. If your boat got stuck out there, you’d be fudged!

I have been stranded a few times over the years. The trolling motor got me back to ramp most times. But it was a long slow ride.. lol

I live near the lake and am a seasoned salt and fresh water fisherman. Not worth the 45 minute drive.
