Our goal is always to recover as much trash, garbage, and other debris out of the environment when we find them underwater.
Sometimes there's just way too much that we'd never be able to get it all on a single dive.
Jeremy crushed it with the number of sunglasses he found.
Sam doesn't have to worry about getting sunburned as long as he stays under the umbrella he found.
But...
Jared came out as today's underwater treasure hunting winner with the phone he found in the lake.

The poles on the buckets are structures for fish to live/hide around.

@the shark empire, they may not have hard bodies but fresh water grasses and reeds serve the same purpose. No need to put someone down because you don't like the terminology they used. And yes, I have used artificial reefs I made for different rivers. At 71 years I have done this for 66 years.

The bucket with the pvc pipe was probably intentionally sunk, around here we call them porcupines. The are artificial habit
I recently found this channel and really love the work you are doing. I can't believe how far it has come in such a short time period. While recovering from a minor illness I went all the way back to the beginning and started watching. I really enjoyed these, the time with Kiera (sp) and the music that was played on these, I found myself just watching for hours. I'm not sure this helps the channel, I didn't see any ads, but I hope it does. I do love the work you are doing for the families and Sam is such a great partner. Yes, I have to mention Dan, he's great too! You have a fan for life!
Like you I have done the same… still binge watching and it’s been a month or 2 sense I found this channel with work and everyday life I find myself binge watching almost every night…. It just fills my heart with hope and love and even laughter these guys are truly amazing selfless people… I definitely plan on buying merch and donating and if possible becoming a member very soon…😀 money is tight but a cause like this… is definitely worth doing what ever is possible

I've lived close to this lake my entire life. I've heard a ton of stories, from leaving heavy equipment down there while they flooded it, to old homesteads that were bought and flooded, and even a pair of gold revolvers thrown in. Im sure there's interesting things in the really deep parts of it.
Id urge you guys to explore the lake if you're ever in the area again, especially closer to the Woodring branch area. Its one of the busier boat ramps.

I grew up not too far from there. This video brought back memories of summer camping and canoeing trips.
This is one video I was hoping to see soon, you guys have been working so hard you all needed a little time just to have a good time & hang out a bit.
The bucket and plastic poles are artificial fish hides. It’s just a place for fish to gather they put on smooth surfaces bottoms. Basically

It’s a beautiful lake. I used to have a cabin across the highway from it, boated it often. Also a DEEP lake. If memory serves, it’s over 400’ at dam.

I grew up about an hour east of Carters Lake . Went there some.
All of the lakes in Georgia are man made. Farms, houses, graveyards and sometimes towns were flooded for those lakes. Be careful when diving, people have gotten hung up on trees and fences that are under water.

My uncle has been missing in this lake since 1987. Boat and vehicle returned. This is so disappointing I never saw any info that you were going to be at Carter’s. My mother and her dump trucks worked to build this man made lake. I’m 15 minutes away and I would have been there with food as a blessing. You guys are the best. Just let me know next time so I can be a blessing to all of you.

Fish habitat. Even that pine tree is someone's marker for a tournament.
Well they removed the cheaters markers & I'm glad. They can use land marks but that's it.

@@reneeritchie-gazarkiewicz9644 actually if you're a true conservationist and learned how those habitat work is they provide growth for plants and structure for fish to hide on and can chill out of ace of currents if need be. It's not cheating.
They also provide places for smaller fish, to hide from predators.

Tenkiller lake in Oklahoma! It’s big and I was told has a plane and bus. Maybe even homes in it. Unfortunately the woman I heard that from has passed. It would be neat to see your team and a few other divers come together and make one big video there.
I used to work at Carter’s that bucket with pipes is fish attractors. I have found old dizzier tracks in that lake close to there.
I have swam in that spot for 20 somthing years. They say a town is under big Carter’s in the spot of the big lake that’s over 200 ft deep!
