- Building the ULTIMATE workbench - Outfeed Assembly Table - Start to Finish!
The next step for my garage shop was a nice outfeed assembly table for my sable saw so In this video I build The ultimate Table saw outfeed assembly table for my small garage shop. It can easily be scaled up or down and is all in all pretty simple and easy to build! Hope you enjoy the video and let me if you have any questions or id love to know what you think in the comments below!

Out of all the "ultimate" workbench videos I've watched, this one is the most realistic. Very good job man. Thank you for the ideas.
This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
Looks awesome! Only changes I would make would be to integrate the table saw into one end and I probably would have added drawer slides but looks great!
Thank you, I'm a city boy, now living in Oklahoma. Had made a workbench but had no idea on how to make the drawers, specially after the caucus was made. You gave me good ideas on how to do them without taking the bench apart for twelve time. So, thanks again.
First time watching your channel, and I'll give credit where its due. I've searched a lot of Google images and many RUclips videos and this is one of the cleanest tables I've seen. Great job, you should definitely be proud of this.
Thanks a lot! Really appreciate that comment. 🙏
Been looking for ideas the last 3 months. I’m hooked sir, very clean and exactly what I’m looking for. Starting this next weekend! Outstanding job brother!
I've been wanting to paint all my shop shelves and cabinets forever. This video is motivating me again. It just looks so good.
Nothing like a fresh coat of paint! Really does make a huge difference. Glad it motivated you! Get er done this weekend!! :)
Good stuff dude. Been liking your content since your original truck bed camper video. Made one myself based on yours. I was overthinking the build and yours made it so simple and easy. For taking out and storing too
Thanks a lot man! Glad to hear you've been liking it and could build one for yourself!
Awesome video had been wanting to build an off feed table for a while. Your design seems very practical and not to complicated. Very descriptive and informative thank you for posting.
I really like the simplicity of this table for what it is. A work bench/assembly table. Looks like I’ll be building something similar to this soon! Thanks for the ideas!
Glad you like it and glad you picked up se ideas. Thanks!
remarkably simple! Things don't have to be complicated to serve the function you need them to.
Very true!! I love simplicity
Another GREAT video! Every video I watch of yours I want to build. They're great.
I love that you used 2x4 cut offs to trim the bench. I'm a cheapskate so I really like getting a chance to use my garbage, and it's just a cool unpretentious way to finish such a nice piece. Good job.
Looks great! Solid, simple design with minimal hardware. I like it.
Glad to hear that! Thanks!
Really liked this video and it’s exactly what I was looking for a simple good looking table build.
Love the open pull out drawer. Great build!
Thank you!
I like this design and as I’ve been looking for something just like this, I’ll be building one very similar. Thanks 😊
Nice! Only thing I would change is oil finish. Water based when scratched has to be sanded to wood and redone, oil is just rough and coat. Great job.
Thanks a lot! And very good point. I'd have to agree oil based it a ton easier to touch up and spot fix.
Really nice work!!! Love the workbench, the choice of colour, the handles, everything. beautiful !!
Thanks a lot!
Love your practical, old school approach, I’m going to use much of your idea as my new PCS outfeed table. You have my vote to grow the channel, great job, thank you
Appreciate that comment! Thank you!
Love how simple you make projects😁
Glad to hear that! Thanks for your comment!
This is fantastic work! It's so well thought out and functional. Saving as a favorite 🤩
So glad you like it! Thank you! 😊
Finally building my dream woodshop. Was looking for ideas for an assembly table. You just gave a big boost. Ill do some changes, but it may look similar to your design.Thanks.
Glad to hear that! Thanks for your comment!
I like the color !! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤩
I love that pull out shelf. Great idea.
Glad to hear that! Thanks
Well done, I dig the french cleat system too. Pumped to see this channel take off
Thank you! The French cleat wall has been great, so universal you literally can customize your storage anyway you like with it. Hoping to grow the channel a lot man. Glad your along for the ride!
I like that you made a space for your packout. That would save me some floor space.
Excellent build mate, looks good. Simple but effective.
Cheers from London 👍🏴🇬🇧
This build is killer! And you do such an amazing job with the detail/overview! It’s evident you put a ton of work into the videos keep it up man!
Thanks a lot! Oh yes I spend hours upon hours on these videos. Slowly getting quicker but I'm glad they are starting to get some notice. I've almost completely stopped the channel a couple times just cause how much work it is.
i just came across your channel and love it.. You are very talented and your videos are very informative. Thank you and good luck going forward.
Great, one more woodworking channel to follow. Keep them coming Brady!
Thrilled your following along! Thanks for the comment!
Great video I am in the process of building my 1st workbench. Love your attention to detail.
Awesome hope you build is going well!
Nice looking workbench... I really liked the pull out tray/drawer with the pencils, glue bottle, etc.
Thanks Mike! I thought designing it for a pull out would be beneficial in case things get tucked in to the back it's convenient to just slide it out rather than fish around for something
Great looking table! I like that you took the time to make it look nice. I especially liked your laser engraved logo on the top. 👍👍
Thanks Patrick!
Dude I like the video and the table and the laser engraver! Great work.
Clean and modern.
Thank you!
Awesome job, basic simple easy. I really enjoyed the video and look forward to seeing more of your projects
Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it and are following along! 👍
Simple and elegant design. I love it.

That is a very simple design but very functional at the same time... Im currently building a welding table so i got some ideas from this table great vid
Glad to hear that. Thanks!
Looks awesome mate, well done, definitely given me some ideas for when I build mine 👍 well done again
Thanks Zac!
This is more my style. Thanks for the ideas
Looks great! First watch of your channel, it's a slick/simple workbench, with a lot of great features. Well done.
Thanks a lot!
I was doubting the design while watching but decided you had a great idea by the time you were done. Drawers without slides mean you can pull them out and take them somewhere temporarily, a decided advantage for tool storage. The only thing I’d add is a finger cutout or a little handle/ledge on the drawer back to make it easy to grab. Nice outfeed/storage solution!
Love this!
Really nice looking workbench! Love the design and the Ambrosia maple pulls! Best of luck with the channel!
Thanks a lot Mike! Much appreciated
Looks great!! Color choice is on point! 😊
Thanks!
Its great and beautifull! Congrats!!!
Thank you!
Nice!! Really nice!!
Thanks!!
Great job 👏🏼
This is awesome!!!!!
Thanks Gregory!
Great job!!
Well done!
Great work. Turned out amazing brother
Thanks a lot David. I appreciate that!
Really dig the detail on your drawer handles. Good use of a laser machine.
Thanks a lot Bruno!
Awesome bench! Got some ideas from you thanks
Excellent!
Thank you!
Great video love the workbench design
Glad to hear that. Thanks so much!
First time seeing your channel….this is a really good base cabinet….old school drawer slides….I like that. The top is sweet.
Thank you Anthony! Glad you liked it
Very cool design. Great work
Thank you!
Nice job! Thanks!
Thank you!
Great! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Nice job, I'm sure your gonna be pleased
Thanks a lot Charles, I'm definitely liking it so far. Nice upgrade to what I was using
Not going to lie but seen it at the start & was like mehh another ultimate table with T track. BUT at the end I really liked the simplicity of the drawer system & the killer punch for me was that top drawer with the pencil holder. Seriously that design is super top notch. Open face & pulls out, you can put tools in as working & grab as needed. I’m about to build a new table to match the height of new saw & that top drawer is definitely on there. 🍻🍻🍻 Cheers & thank you
I rewatched the vid to make sure it’s what I wanted & realised I can put dog holes on top & my wood vice on the end of the table & this drawer will not inhibit either. I watch a crap tonne of videos but yet still get blown away by such basic but brilliant ideas. RUclips woodworkers for life 👍
I like those overall dimensions and I'll be doing my custom drawers/cutouts. Good job and vid. subed
Nicely done.
Thanks!
Good job looks good
Very nice work bench.
Great build
Thanks!
pretty sick bench man ! I like the color lol
Thanks a lot man! Can't beat a nice charcoal Grey!

Thanks a lot Brandon! I'm very happy with it!
Nice job Brady.
Thank you!
Awesome job!
Thank you!
Great build and great video.
Thank you!
Its was a great video great build. Perfect level of effort. Not over the top but came out great .
Thank you!
Very nice build.
Thank you!
I like the idea of the friction fit drawers and shelf only thing I would do would put a removable strap so I wouldn’t pull them out too far I’m constantly doing that when I’m flustered are in a rush
Hals Wood Shop. Custom Workbench should be on any Woodworker list. Nice features. nice shop.
Appreciate that! Thank you
Excellent job sir. First time watching you channel. Great table and great job explaining the build . I'm now a subscriber 👍🏼
Glad to hear that! happy to hear you liked the video!
Nice work mate!
Thank you sir!
I am looking at making myself an outfeed table but instead of a pullout shelf on top, I am going to build a downdraft table that slides into that area when not in use. I am trying to fit as much as I can into a single car garage. I am going to use fake drawer fronts to make the downdraft table look nice when it is put away. I will also make the downdraft table in such a manner that I can use the T-track on the outfeed table to hold it down when I am using it to sand. I will use the 4" dust control ducting going to my table saw to plug into the downdraft table to control dust when I am using it.
Very good video, I love the pencil sharpener . And boy, you really work fast.
Thanks a lot Ted!
Just finished watching your video and just have one thing for you to improve your drawer traveling on wood. I read and have used for years, plastic corner "savers" that are use for sheet rock. Wooden drawers slide nicely within the track. And they are cheap and functional. Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing
That's a great tip. Never would have thought of that. Thank you for sharing!
Nice work
Thank you!
I Love It!!
Glad to hear that! Thank you!
The router grove for pencils on that pull out drawer 🔥
🙌
Very nice video bro! Good work
Thanks a lot Joe! Great to hear
Thanks for sharing! The pegboard would be a good place to store kids (Fisher Price) tools. It's never too early for your kids to want to "work" with you in the shop and learning how to be safe.
Very true! He loves working out there with me.
@@BradyHommel very nice, keep encouraging that! My youngest caught the bug and developed his own creative outlets and now he contributes his stuff on my channel. He's a little older. 😀
Came across your video last night and I’m impressed with your build. Do you have a time frame when you might have plans? I see others asking the same question. I’d love to build it as well. Let me know when plans are available. Thank you 😊
New to your channel, great content. Good info and enjoyed watching.
Awesome, thank you! glad you enjoyed it Richard!
Very nice!
Thanks Tom!
Table looks great, what I want to know is hot flat is it for assembly purposes
New subscriber m I really like the simplicity of the work bench…. Great job
Thanks So Much Michael
@@BradyHommel looking forward to seeing more of your videos. This week I am going to see how many I can watch. 👍🏼
First time watching. Good video
Thanks a lot. Appreciate that!
great video, that outfeed table looks great, do you have a link for the plans?
Nice build!! I use your idea! Nice channel greets from the Netherlands
Thanks a lot Bart! Really appreciate it. Good luck on your build!
First time watching and really enjoyed the functionality and simplicity of this design. You should offer plans, I would buy the plans, cut list, ect for this since I’m looking to do something similar.
hi, great table, looks incredible. i'm thinking about doing the same thing for my own outfeed table but ive heard stock can catch on the t track when getting pushed past the tablesaw blade, after using this table for a while now, can you advise if this is much of a problem?
I've done the exact same thing with the plywood and liftgate. Get under it, push up the plywood to open the gate, then use brute strength to slowly lower the plywood down. That's at least 2 of us, so it must be a sound technique for unloading plywood from the bed of a pickup. lol
