I store my patterned paper in crates with hanger folders. The scraps go in page protectors in front of each. I loved how you cut up the 12x12! Great ideas!
Hi Lori, your paper organization is perfection! Yay! Happy you can use this cutting tip. I have additional tips/ideas for you to watch under the playlist called "Scrap Paper ideas"
Hi Donna, thank you! I felt like I needed to offer options/ideas for the cut layers. I appreciate you letting me know this was helpful. I have 2 Playlists with more videos like this one that you may enjoy: "Scrap Paper ideas" and "Stop hoarding your pattern paper and use it"
Thanks for the tips.♥️ I tend to leave my 12x12 pattern paper in the packaging along with any scraps just like you do and also my 6x6 papers. My cardstock I store separately and by color in magazine type containers.
Teresa, great minds think alike! We are organization sisters. Thank you for watching and I hope you will consider Subscribing + watching more fun videos. 🤗
Considering I'm rather new to card making, I'm definitely in the accumulation stage :) I have recently divided my colored card stock into colors so I can better it with patterned paper. I have separated my 6 x 6 paper into a container that fits that size well. I divided my 12 x 12 into storage containers based on one sided, double sided, large prints I'm not entirely sure why I purchased :), and seasonal paper. It's definitely a work in progress, and your video has been very helpful
Hi Barbara, your paper organization is awesome! Thank you for watching, I hope you'll come back often! You may enjoy watching my Playlist called Card-making 101. 🥰
The problem I have with this is that I am never sure which direction of a card that I will want to make (portrait or landscape), especially when cutting up paper that is directional. Make sense?
Hi Bernice, good point…and yes, you’re right about pattern paper with directional patterns. If you like, save this tip for paper that can be used in any direction. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate your input and appreciate your watching. 😊
